With the large-scale distributed generation connected to the distribution network, the observability of the distribution network is insufficient and the energy management ability is reduced. Considering investment cost constraints and state estimation accuracy requirements, it is crucial to realize the optimal configuration of distribution network measurement. In this paper, a measurement optimization configuration method considering investment cost constraints is proposed to obtain the measurement optimization configuration scheme with the high state estimation accuracy, which is to solve the measurement configuration problem with mixed integer nonlinear programming based on the ant colony algorithm. the results of case study analysis show that the proposed method can effectively improve the calculation efficiency and obtain better measurement configuration results. And it showed the computational performance of the proposed method is far superior to some popular other simplified calculation methods based on Fisher information and circuit representation error in terms of accuracy, computational efficiency, and scalability. © 2022 IEEE.

High penetration of renewable energy sources in power system introduce significant challenges to frequency stability. Residential buildings are regarded as a typical demand response resource for regulation service. HVAC load accounts for the majority proportion of residential electricity consumption. Meanwhile, the controllable characteristic of HVAC load makes it perfectly suited for providing frequency regulation service. In this paper, a residential HVAC load shifting model is formulated as a linear programming problem. It aims to minimize the energy payment of residential customers by participating in frequency regulation market while considering the performance of tracking frequency regulation signals. the numerical case study shows that residential customers benefit from significant electricity cost reduction as long as they track the target within a small error margin. © 2022 IEEE.

Smart substation is an important infrastructure for the development of the power industry, in which the auxiliary control system plays a vital role, and the performance of the auxiliary control system of smart substations affects power security. Aiming at this problem, this paper uses the object-oriented programming language Java technology to develop a set of smart substation auxiliary control system test platforms based on the IEC61850 protocol, which is used for performance tests of auxiliary control system. By using Jmeter to simulate the multi-sensor data interaction test environment, the test platform tests the stability, response speed, and data processing capability of the auxiliary control system. the test data results indicate that the response time of the system is basically less than 80 ms, with a maximum deviation of only 10.05. the auxiliary control system testing platform designed in this article has shown satisfactory performance in different concurrent data interaction testing environments, providing a solid guarantee for the reliability and stability of the equipment. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

A blockchain-based electronic health record (EHR) system has been proposed to manage patient data and maintain computerized records across different healthcare institutions. the main objective of this system is to provide immediate access to patient health information while addressing concerns about privacy and security. It is developed on the Ethereum network using programming languages, tools, and technologies such as Ganache, Solidity, and ***. the system uses smart contracts to provide security and privacy, and transactions are verified and propagated to the entire decentralized network. the system includes a cryptocurrency wallet (MetaMask) with a centralized privacy system that allows authorized parties to access and secure records quickly. the proposed system aims to achieve several objectives such as allowing users to receive the same data simultaneously, increasing efficiency, building trust, and reducing barriers. It secures data storage by restricting user access and enables the secure transfer of patient medical records. the solution allows for better transparency and ownership of sensitive data, which can be recorded and safeguarded via blockchain technology, therefore assisting the healthcare sector. this paper describes a medical record system and a new protocol that can be used quickly and safely, paving the way for more secure and efficient healthcare systems. Overall, the proposed system offers potential solutions to the challenges associated with traditional EHR systems and has the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. © 2023 IEEE.

As the global climate change problem becomes increasingly severe, achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality has become a common goal pursued by all countries. As one of the important sources of carbon emissions, urban transportation's green transformation is particularly critical. this article takes the electric bus system in Yangjiang City as the research object and discusses the configuration strategy of electric bus charging stations in the city. the problem is expressed as a mixed integer linear programming problem, and a charging station location planning model is established. With the goal of minimizing the cost of building electric bus charging stations and minimizing the carbon emissions of electric bus charging, a mixed integer linear programming method is used to solve the problem.

To train machine learning models that are robust to distribution shifts in the data, distributionally robust optimization (DRO) has been proven very effective. However, the existing approaches to learning a distributionally robust model either require solving complex optimization problems such as semidefinite programming or a first-order method whose convergence scales linearly with the number of data samples- which hinders their scalability to large datasets. In this paper, we show how different variants of DRO are simply instances of a finite-sum composite optimization for which we provide scalable methods. We also provide empirical results that demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm with respect to the prior art in order to learn robust models from very large datasets. © 2022 ICLR 2022 - 10th international conference on Learning Representationss. An interface board, load board, or design under test (D UT) board is a circuit board designed to serve as an interface between the automatic test equipment (ATE) and the DUT. the interface board consists of several electronic components to set up the DUT for testing. It is very crucial that all the electronic components on the interface board operate and function according to the specification to ensure the correct testing operation is performed by the ATE. therefore, in this study, we develop a graphical user interface (GUI) software to automate the test program generation of testing the resistor components on the interface board via analog pin unit (APU). the GUI has been developed by using Visual Basic programming language. the test engineer can select the resistor to be tested based on its identification. Subsequently, the test program is generated which contains forced current or voltage values to measure the resistance. the generated test program can be passed to the ATE and the test can be performed via APU to identify the malfunction resistor on the interface board. Ultimately, the automation of test program generation increases the efficiency of testing components on the interface board. © 2021 IEEE.

the conventional paper-based legal agreements have been replaced with smart contracts in the modern day. the way legal contracts are utilized to bind the parties to do business is changing as a result of this developing idea. SM-Smart contracts offer a solution to the issue of trust in the digital era. A smart contract is a computer program that is designed to automatically execute the terms of a contract between two or more parties. It operates on a blockchain network and contains the rules and conditions of the agreement. A software developer creates smart contracts by computer-programming the terms and conditions of the written legal agreement. In order for all parties to be aware of the conclusion right away, smart contracts are used to automate the execution of legal agreements. No third party is involved in the contract's execution. Numerous platforms and applications built using blockchain technology depend heavily on smart contracts. © 2023 IEEE.

Considering that the smartphone with built-in sensors transformed the way people's living and working styles, in this paper, a computational model and algorithm utilizing smartphone were proposed to determine the international roughness index (IRI) based on vehicle suspension parameters and whole vehicle model. First, the driving data acquisition APP was developed using JAVA 8 as the programming language and Android Studio 3.4. then, the identification on the suspension parameters of test vehicle was implemented by complex mode formulations and drop test. Subsequently, the algorithm about theoretical relationships among vehicle operating data, longitudinal elevation data (LED) and IRI were derived based on the whole vehicle model (WVM). Finally, an experimental verification was performed on asphalt pavement with known roughness index. the results demonstrated that the maximum relative error between the determined value and standard value was less than 10%.

Various programming teaching and learning materials (PTLM) have been developed to help people learn to program. When learners learn independently from PTLM, they may make errors in their programs, preventing them from progressing. Although PTLM providers hope to eliminate these problems, it is difficult for the providers to grasp the learner's situation because the learner is self-studying. thus, we propose a tool that reports the learners' programming status to PTLM providers. When a learner inputs a program while using PTLM, the tool stores the compilation and execution results in learning status databases (LSDBs). PTLM providers can improve their PTLM by analyzing the LSDB submitted by the learners. We conducted an experiment with 37 third-year students at Kindai University to ascertain their learning status. the results show that no particular operating procedure in the PTLM caused many errors and that the number of characters in the programs entered by the learner correlates to the number of mistakes. © 2022 the Authors.
