With increasing the penetration rate of electric vehicle (EV) usage, the challenge of finding an available parking slot has been turned into finding an available parking slot having EV charger in metropolitans. Smart charging reservation systems considering EV drivers' preferences can facilitate finding an available charging station as well as managing the charging load of EVs in a parking lot. In this study, a bi-level optimization model is defined for minimizing the parking price of EV users, maximizing the profit of EV parking lot (PL) operator and the last one minimizing total power losses of the distribution network. A smart charging reservation system is used to select the EVs which are accepted for giving charging service considering several parameters. this reservation system was generated using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) from Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques. A PV system on the roof the PL is modelled to support the charging load of EVs at the PL. A mixed-integer linear programming model is established for solving the generated optimization problem. © 2022 IEEE.

In this article, we solved two tasks in the Vietnamese Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis problem: Aspect Category Detection (ACD) and Sentiment Polarity Classification (SPC). Besides, we proposed end-to-end models to handle the above tasks simultaneously for two domains (Restaurant and Hotel) in the VLSP 2018 Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis dataset using PhoBERT as Pre-trained language models for Vietnamese in two ways: Multi-task and Multi-task with Multi-branch approach. Both models give very good results when applied preprocessing. Specifically, the Multi-task model achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) results in the Hotel domain of the VLSP 2018 ABSA dataset, with the F1-score being 82.55% for ACD and 77.32% for ACD with SPC. For the Restaurant domain, our Multi-task model also achieved SOTA in the ACD with SPC task by an F1-score of 71.55% and 83.29% for the ACD. © 2022 IEEE.

With the increasing integration of distributed energy resources (DER) and corresponding fluctuations, phase shifting transformers (PSTs) have been considered as important electrical components to increase transmission capacity by integrating PST with optimal power flow (OPF). However, due to vulnerabilities of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, applications in power systems may be subject to various cyber-attacks. In this paper, we discuss the feasibility of load redistri-bution (LR) attacks against OPF with PST, and quantitatively evaluate the effect of LR attacks on power systems. Specifically, the interaction between LR attacker and OPF with PST is formulated as a Stackelberg game, where the attacker and power system, acting as the leader and follower, attempt to maximize and minimize the operation cost of power system, respectively. By replacing the lower OPF optimization with its Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) condition, the Stackelberg game is simplified into a single-level mixed integer programming, which can be easily solved. Simulations in the PJM 5-bus, IEEE 14-bus and IEEE 30-bus test systems verify the feasibility of LR attacks and quantitatively evaluate the effect of LR attacks on the operation cost of power systems.

U-shape networks and feature pyramid networks (FPN) have shown their advantages in the saliency prediction task. However, most existing saliency methods usually fail to detect salient objects of different sizes. In this paper, we propose a Densely Connected Collaborative network (D2CNet) which considers both multi-scale input images and multi-level feature blocks to deal with the above problem. the proposed D2CNet consists of three modules: bottom-up encoder module, top-down decoder module and size prediction module. In the encoder module, we use two backbones with shared parameters to extract multi-level features from two inputs and these multi-level features must be transformed to generate more robust salient visual features. Next, in the decoder module, all the transformed feature blocks are gradually used to generate the final saliency map. Finally, fully connected layers and sigmoid function are used to predict object size. In addition, different from binary cross entropy, the proposed size-aware loss can guide the D2CNet to detect objects of different sizes under complex background. Experimental results on five popular saliency datasets demonstrate that D2CNet outperforms ten state-of-the-art methods on different evaluation metrics. © VDE VERLAG GMBH · Berlin · Offenbach.

Agile Software Development (ASD) has greatly influenced the community of software developers. Extreme programming and Scrum are the two most known and widely used agile practices in handling the challenges of a software project. However, insufficient knowledge and understanding of the practices may affect the project's performance. therefore, this study analyzes the correlation between agile values, principles, and practices to enhance project performance. We use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to investigate how factors such as project performance, agile values, agile principles, and agile practices are related to one another. A total of 35 respondents from academics and practitioners provided judgment on the correlation priority. the result indicated the highest rank of priority associated with correlation among each variable. the final result of this study suggests which practices adopting when the project performance needs enhancement and which moderator can affect the decision-making process.

In the past two decades, the field of quantum computing has developed rapidly, is gradually able to solve some difficult classical problems. With the development of the facilities for Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum(NISQ), the NISQ technology addresses the existing Quantum programming languages or frameworks, suggesting that they cannot fully meet the requirements of Quantum computers. In recent years, some quantum programming languages or frameworks have emerged which claim to support the classical computing algorithms of heterogeneous quantum. However, the code is too cumbersome and redundant, and it is difficult to map the code to heterogeneous quantum classical computation while meeting the requirements of timing. therefore, a modular programming framework of heterogeneous quantum classical computing algorithm with NISQ function is proposed. the framework optimizes the quantum code and retains the quantum classical interactions that satisfy the temporal constraints. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In technological advancement, there are several techniques have discovered for exact identification of hydrocarbons which is being used by oil industries to detect the oil reservoirs. In this study, we have investigated and proposed system of detection and prediction of hydrocarbons under earth subsurface through microscopic rock image modality. this system presents a robust watershed segmentation approach for determining porosity where convolutional neural networks are used for classification of sandstone and carbonate rock samples. the system is tested on microscopic images of sandstone and carbonate rock samples, and detection observed in rocks is based upon estimation of total porosity. Experimental comparison of proposed system shows outperform over state-of-the-art methods. © 2022, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

EFSMs provide a way to model systems with internal data variables. In situations where they do not already exist, we need to infer them from system behaviour. A key challenge here is inferring the functions which relate inputs, outputs, and internal variables. Existing approaches either work with white-box traces, which expose variable values, or rely upon the user to provide heuristics to recognise and generalise particular data-usage patterns. this paper presents a preprocessing technique for the inference process which generalises the concrete values from the traces into symbolic functions which calculate output from input, even when this depends on values not present in the original traces. Our results show that our technique leads to more accurate models than are produced by the current state-of-the-art and that somewhat accurate models can still be inferred even when the output of particular transitions depends on values not present in the original traces.
