To solve the implementation problems of knowledge management when a product is designed in Reverse Engineering (RE) integrated system developed by Multi-Agent, knowledge representation analysis involved in the process of reverse design is firstly analyzed. the tree architecture of knowledge is built. three kinds of knowledge including domain and cooperation and meta-level are categorized according to analysis. the function process of knowledge management is then classified into three stages including collection, organization and application. By coordinating relationships among knowledge, data, process and tool, a comprehensive decision support system is finally constructed based on knowledge integration. the system possesses characteristics of cooperation and intelligence;it can support the distributed integration development environment in reversely designing process.

distributed control systems (DCSs) consisting of a plant, a controller composed of many devices, and an open network interconnecting devices, are now used in many automation areas. For assuring the control performance under the heavy traffic on the network, the simulation of DCS is strongly needed. In the case of DCSs for controlling a mechanical plant, the graphical and cooperative simulation between the controller model and the plant model becomes important to verify the sequence of motions of the plant. For this purpose, we propose a systematic object-oriented-based DCS modeling procedure to efficiently and uniformly develop the DCS simulation model. From this procedure, we can describe the formal description of DCS simulation model based on five object-oriented design patterns which describe the structure and behavior of the DCS. We also propose an event chain mechanism between the statechart-based controller model and the graphical plant model. Finally, the cooperative DCS simulation software is developed by! using the Java 3D API.

With the advent of "big-data" processing and analytics, organizations and enterprises have increased the collection of data from individuals, and are increasingly developing business models involving analytics to gain deep insights into the collected data. Often, it becomes essential to release and merge said data to third-parties for more extensive analytics for which an organization may not have the necessary expertise. Data often has to be anonymized prior to such release, to safeguard the privacy of individuals involved. While several algorithms, with varying privacy guarantees, have been proposed for anonymizing data, large scale distributed anonymization remains an under-explored topic. In this paper, we propose Incognito, a distributed algorithm and framework for anonymization of large data sets. Incognito as a framework is targeted at data center environments, both private data centers and public clouds;and is intended to be compatible with modern data analytics frameworks like map reduce and resilient distributed datasets (RDDs). Incognito the algorithm aims at minimizing identity, similarity and skins based attacks on anonymized data sets. this paper describes Incognito in detail along with an empirical evaluation of its scalability and efficiency.

Many of today's large-scale software projects in the area of distributed systems and especially enterprise IT adopt service-oriented software architecture and technologies. Complex engineering applications demand powerful computing resources. An object based distributed system is suitable for such applications due to the inherent parallelism nature in the object based computing model. As the model is based on message passing, which in turns relies on location transparent object names, an efficient name translation system is therefore required to map the object names to the corresponding physical addresses dynamically. In this paper, we propose a heuristic distributed search algorithm, the hierarchy random walker (HRW), to take advantage of the locality of object communications thereby increasing the overall system performance. Analysis of the simulation results from a number of benchmark programs have demonstrated that the benefits of the proposed algorithm are in terms of flexibility and efficient to locate the most used objects. the approach will be applied to intelligent techniques for engineering problems.

Desktop grids use the idle cycles of desktop PC's to provide huge computational power at low cost. However, because the underlying desktop computing resources are volatile, achieving performance guarantees such as task completion rate is difficult. We investigate the use of buffering to ensure task completion rates, which is essential for soft real-time applications. In particular we develop a model of task completion rate as a function of buffer size. We instantiate this model using parameters derived from two enterprise desktop grid data sets, evaluate the model via trace-driven simulation, and show how this model can be used to ensure application task completion rates on enterprise desktop grid systems.

Businesses adopting Cloud computing often have to comply with strict constraints, such as enterprise policies and legal regulations. From these compliance issues arise the need to enable managed cloud service consumption as a prerequisite for adoption. As we have shown before, the proposed TRusted Ecosystem for Standardized and Open cloud-based Resources (TRESOR) cloud ecosystem can achieve management of cloud service consumption [1]. In this paper we motivate and derive the architecture of the distributed TRESOR cloud proxy from technical, business and legal requirements within the context of the TRESOR project. We apply a derivation method where we evaluate the impact of each incremental architecture decision separately. this process enables researchers with supplementary requirements to adapt the intermediate derivations within other contexts in flexible ways.

As the cloud computing is being adopted by users, the alignment of cloud computing is receiving increasing attention from researchers. On the basis of related theories about organizational fit of Information Technology (IT), this paper constructed a theoretical model to analyze factors affecting the cloud computing alignment in companies. In this model, task-technology fit and technology-organization compatibility are considered as two key factors for the alignment between cloud computing and enterprise business. Further the alignment is evaluated from two aspects: the depth of alignment and the breadth of alignment. Analyzing data collected via questionnaires with Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) and Partial Least Squares (PLS), this paper shows that the technology-organization compatibility has significant positive effects on both depth and breadth of cloud computing alignment. On the other hand, the task-technology fit has significant positive effects on breadth of cloud computing alignment, and it has no significant effects on depth of cloud computing alignment.
