Electroencephalography (EEG) is a valuable non-invasive brain-computer interface technology. However, traditional EEG systems are often prohibitively expensive and bulky. In this paper, we present a novel, low-cost and portable EEG system with 32-channel EEG acquisition for wearable applications. the proposed system consists of signal acquisition, signal processing, WiFi transmission, and computer data analysis. It can acquire 32 channels of EEG data at a high sampling rate of up to 2 kHz and transmits data via WiFi. To evaluate our system, we utilize common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) test, noise analysis, and functional assessments including alpha wave detection and steady-state visually evoked potential (SSVEP) experiments. Experimental results demonstrate that our system has superior performance (more channels and higher sampling frequency) with lower cost compared with existing EEG acquisition systems, providing a feasible solution for most EEG acquisition and analysis applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, deep learning techniques have received widespread attention in code vulnerability and vulnerability detection. However, there are some problems with current vulnerability detection techniques, firstly, because of the non-homogeneity of vulnerability categories and quantities, there are omission false positives and overfitting problems for vulnerabilities with a small amount of data. Second, the existing detection methods have limited ability to characterize the code, there is insufficient depth of characterization, does not contain all of its vulnerability characteristics or is interspersed with useless information. Finally, the current research does not use the powerful feature mining capability of pre-trained models and does not employ model fusion to increase the effectiveness of model vulnerability detection. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a new deep learning based pre-trained model for code vulnerability detection tool VulD-CodeBERT. By fine-tuning CodeBERT, a code adaptation extension for pre-trained models developed by Microsoft, the CodeBERT model can solve the problem of not being able to learn the vulnerability patterns due to insufficient data, thus resulting in missed false alarms. the sequence output from the CodeBERT model are added to a BiLSTM network with an attention mechanism to mine the local key features of the vulnerabilities combined with the global features of the pooler output from the CodeBERT model to deeply mine the dependencies between the vulnerability statements and derive the probability of the existence of the vulnerability. For vulnerability types that are difficult to uncover captured features or the number of samples is not enough, a polynomial plain Bayesian classifier is used for detection, and finally the two models are combined to deeply mine the vulnerability features, thus solving the problem of difficult and small samples, and reducing the leakage rate and false alarm rate. Characteristics and application of functional continuous conductive fibers (CCF) are studied. CCF was fabricated using a spinning coating strategy, in which the conductive fiber in the core layer was tightly encapsulated by triboelectric materials with the help of staple fibers to effectively address interfacial compatibility issues. Importantly, the CCFs have the potential to act as self-powered wearable sensors for wearable sensing applications, including tracking hand movements or functioning as a compact textile keyboard. they could be made into CCF-TENG energy fabric for harvesting energy from human motions based on their flexible and weavable characteristics, which provides a new sight for further wearable e-textiles. © 2024 SPIE.

Unexpected disturbances and disruptions always occur in metro systems, which can easily cause cancellations of train services. this paper introduces a new integrated optimization model for train timetable rescheduling with passenger demands under the circumstance of complete blockage situations. the purpose is to minimize the deviations of train services and the passenger waiting times. In particular, we formulate train dynamics, turnaround operations and passenger loading constraints based on metro lines. A mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) model is proposed to realize a performance balance between the timetable regularity, operational costs and passenger service level. Additionally, numerical experiments are implemented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed optimization model. the optimized train rescheduling strategies can effectively reduce train timetable deviations and passenger waiting times, contributing to the safe operation. © 2024, Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Accurately predicting the state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) of lithium iron phosphate batteries is crucial for the safe operation of electric vehicle battery systems. However, the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) algorithm, commonly used for battery state estimation, exhibits significant errors under low-temperature conditions due to changes in ion mobility and increased internal resistance. To address this, a UKF algorithm incorporating a temperature compensation model is proposed. First, a SOC-OCV functional relationship is established through analysis of experimental data, achieving a high fitting degree of 0.999. then, a temperature compensation model is integrated to refine the UKF estimation by accounting for the increased electrolyte viscosity and reduced reaction kinetics at low temperatures. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed UKF with temperature compensation exhibits lower mean squared errors in SOC and SOH estimation, ensuring robust and accurate performance, even as ambient temperatures decrease. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this study, the citric acid iron and melamine was used to modify the selected biomass, preparing Fe-N/BC iron-nitrogen co-doped biochar catalyst. the BC, N/BC, and Fe-N/BC were characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR, Raman, XPS, etc., to research the aspects of micromorphology, crystal structure, surface functional group types, and element composition. the results showed that Fe and N elements could be doped into the biochar successfully, making the particle size of Fe-N/BC smaller than that of BC, possessing a bigger surface area with a more abundant pore structure. Additionally, the graphitization degree of Fe-N/BC was enhanced, introducing active sites including pyridinic nitrogen, graphitic nitrogen, and Fe-Nx, enhancing the catalytic activity and electron transfer performance of the catalyst, enabling Fe-N/BC to simultaneously act on catalytic reduction and catalytic oxidation systems. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

To study the performance changes of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) under high temperature and high-pressure environment, PTFE gasket material was selected to soak in the high-temperature and high-pressure reactor (6 MPa) at different temperatures (60, 90°C) for different times (4, 8, 12, 16 days) for aging failure test. the microstructure, hardness, functional group, and phase structure of the material were measured and analyzed by scanning electron microscope, hardness meter, infrared spectrometer, and X-ray diffractometer respectively. the results showed that with the extension of soaking time, defects and cracks appeared on the surface, and the mechanical properties of the PTFE gasket material were weakened. After soaking at 6 MPa and 90°C for 16 days, no reaction occurred in the PTFE gasket material, but the spiral twisted chain structure of the molecule was destroyed, which affected the performance of the material. therefore, PTFE is suitable for long-term use in environments below 6 MPa and 60°C, but not suitable for long-term use in environments above 6 MPa and 90°C. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Aiming at environment modeling and path planning search of the maze robot, a method how to construct simulation environment and design path planning algorithm is presented in this paper. On the basis of WPF framework, Using XAML interface description language and C# to build simulation environment, a multi-functional open maze generation interface and maze solution and verification platform is provided. the user can intuitively design the maze grid map to simulate the maze solving process by animation. they also can easily add new and verify algorithms by inheriting or rewriting the abstract class provided. What's more, based on the traditional maze algorithm breadth-first searching strategy and depth-first searching strategy, the shortest path planning algorithm using a combination of breadth and depth is brought forward for demonstration. And the final test result has shown the feasibility and effectiveness of this method. © 2023 IEEE.
