We present an extension of the CasADi numerical optimization framework that allows arbitrary order NLP sensitivities to be calculated automatically and efficiently. the approach, which can be used together with any NLP solver available in CasADi, is based on a sparse QR factorization and an implementation of a primal-dual active set method. the whole toolchain is freely available as open-source software and allows generation of thread-safe, selfcontained C code with small memory footprint. We illustrate the toolchain using three examples;a sparse QP, an optimal control problem and a parameter estimation problem. An Immune Particle Swarm optimization (IPSO) for parameters optimization of support Vector Regression (SVR) is proposed in this article. After introduced clonal copy and mutation process Of Immune Algorithm (IA). the particle of PSO is considered as antibodies. therefore, evaluated the fitness of particles by the Cross Validation standard, the best individual mutated particle for each cloned group will be selected to compose the next generation to get better parameters epsilon, C, delta of SVR. It call construct high accuracy and generalization performance regression model rapidly by optimizing the combination of three SVR parameters at the same time. Under the datasets generated from (sin cx) function with additive noise and forest fires dataset, experimental results show that the new method call determine the parameters of SVR quickly and the gotten models have superior learning accuracy and generalization performance.

High-level Synthesis (HLS) significantly enhances the development of multi-processor systems-on-chip by simplifying FPGA module development. In this work, we use HLS to develop multiple approaches of microarchitectures for Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cryptographic (crypto) FPGA modules and compare them. Our approaches mostly focus on the application of parallelism when using HLS for automatic Register-Transfer Level (RTL) design generation. We compare the result of our approaches with a traditionally developed RTL implementation concerning maximum throughput and resource utilization. We also do a comparison to published state-of-the-art RTL-code-based development, and other HLS-based crypto module development approaches. By using HLS, we can reduce development time compared to the traditional RTL-code-based development. Furthermore, we improve the theoretical performance of our crypto module to achieve a maximum clock frequency of up to 343 MHz and a data rate of 43.90 Gbps (128-bit processing per clock cycle). Alternatively, the resource utilization of FPGA can be optimized to be lower than for the traditionally-developed implementation. As future work, the diversification of resource utilization and other approaches presented in this paper may be used to reduce side-channel leakage of signal properties.

Due to the complexity of micro control unit (MCU), the fabrication process of MCU has become very challenging, and in particular the hard mask (HM) and lithographic technologies. therefore, it is very important to improve the performance of the two processes. the performances of the HM and lithographic processes strongly depend on the step coverage (S/C) of HM. Poor HM S/C will directly impact the protection provided by HM on device patterning during the etching process and overlay marks during photoresist (PR) rework. the application of C2H2 base amorphous carbon (a-C) to form the HM instead of C3H6 base a-C can achieve better sidewall and bottom S/C due to the fact that C2H2 base a-C has superior sticking coefficient (higher carbon to hydrogen (C/H) ratio). Furthermore, the silicon (Si) center damaging problem in device patterning is alleviated by the good S/C performance of C2H2 base a-C. Experimental results have demonstrated that the overlay mark is not damaged with five PR reworks with the application of C2H2 base a-C. Furthermore, a process parameter design of experiment (DOE) for C2H2 base a-C to obtain the trends of sidewall and bottom S/C is proposed. the presented experimental results show that bad sidewall S/C of a-C film induces the Si edge damage in high aspect ratio device patterning. the proposed DOE will allow us to optimize the C2H2 base a-C process to improve the SIC by 49%-91% better than the unoptimized process. this helps to reduce the amount of device pattern damage significantly. this paper describes a method for improving the comprehensibility, accuracy, and generality of reactive plans. A reactive plan is a set of reactive rules. Our method involves two phases: (1) formulate explanations of execution traces, and (2) generate new reactive rules from the explanations. the explanation phase involves translating the execution trace of a reactive planner into an abstract language, and then using Explanation Based Learning to identify general strategies within the abstract trace. the rule generation phase consists of taking a subset of the explanations and using these explanations to generate a set of new reactive rules to add to the original set for the purpose of performance improvement. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 1991.

the low thermal efficiency and low economic benefits of power generation systems under small temperature difference conditions have always hindered their practical operation. In order to explore effective ways to achieve performance optimization of thermodynamic cycle electrical power generating systems under small temperature difference conditions, this study constructs a static analysis model of an organic Rankine cycle with small temperature difference, selects six different commonly used refrigerants, and investigates the influence of key parameters on the thermodynamic and economic performance of the system using difference working fluids. the outcomes indicate that key parameters such as evaporation temperature and condensation temperature play a critical role in the thermodynamic and economic performance of the power generation system. For the working fluids, R227ea provides the highest net power output, while ammonia (R717) is the best performer in regard to system thermal efficiency and economic performance. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

After large-scale access to distributed generation of new energy generation in urban AC/DC distribution network, its own randomness and uncertainty affect the supply-demand balance mechanism of distribution network. therefore, this paper studies the power exchange flexibility optimization method of urban AC/DC distribution network to provide reference for the operation and scheduling of distribution network and main network. First, the active power exchange model of distribution network is established, the extreme value of power exchange of distribution network is obtained, and the flexible range of exchange power is calculated. Next, the flexibility evaluation index is established, and the operation characteristics of energy storage are transformed to complete the research on power exchange flexibility optimization of urban AC/DC distribution network. through the actual example analysis, the results show that after the optimization of the design method, the net load curve is smoother, the effect of reducing the peak valley difference is more significant, and the overall curve is relatively smooth, which shows that the design method has certain effectiveness. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A general strategy for the generation of statistical models with a reduced complexity of the mathematical formulation, in order to handle NLP and MINLP optimization problems efficiently, is proposed. Resulting from increasing complexity of structural and parameter optimization problems in chemical engineering, we are very often, especially when dealing with highly nonlinear problems, confronted with the situation that the currently available solvers are not able to cope with the problem size or require very good starting points. In many cases the utilization of reduced statistical models can help to overcome these difficulties by enabling a better insight into the optimization problem and providing sufficient initial guesses, with respect to the process structure and the unit parameters. In order to fulfill the entire optimization task it is desirable that the reduced models also consider the influence of significant parameters. the generation of such reduced statistical models on the basis of associated rigorous models is described and examined by using the commercial flowsheeting package SPEEDUP.
