this project tries to design a wireless intelligent pH sensor to monitor the pH value of nutrient solution in real time by using the analog front circuit LMP91200, microprocessor STM32F103c8t6 and WiFi module. the experiment shows: this equipment has a high accuracy, can be 0.01;it can access business cloud services platform to achieve the functions like accurate acquisition and calibration of pH value, Interactive with cloud platform through WiFi Networks;APP and PC for the remote measurement is stable, after 12 h of testing there is no packet loss phenomenon;Because of high uploading speed, in 5 s it can complete the device networking and upload, besides, the cloud services have changed the traditional way of nutrient solution measurement. © IFIP international Federation for Information Processing 2019.

Over the past decade, mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) gained the attention of researchers and became a key technology in many aspects owing to its potential applicability and increased usage in providing efficient wireless networking. the ability of enabling an instant temporary wireless networking scenario in situations like flooding and defense made MANET a prominent domain of research. Although, it has been extensively studied with respect to different means of issues including network security, power consumption issues etc. but the core findings in the area of security were found mostly limited to theoretical contributions. Moreover, An intrusion detection systems (IDS) enable different procedures involved into monitoring the activities being exercised in a MANET whether;it poses any suspicious or malicious events that could be harmful for the entire system. the conventional IDS models are more likely to consume higher level of energy which minimizes the network lifetime owing to rapid depletion of node’s battery power. the study thereby primarily addressed this issue and come up with an efficient scheme which targets to optimize the time period in which IDS remain busy in a large-scale MANET. It also incorporated a technique which relates probabilistic theory of optimization to bring an effective cooperation among IDSs and neighbor nodes which leads to reduce their individual busy time. the proposed approach aims to reduce busy time of individual IDS while maintaining their effectiveness towards achieving defined tasks. To support the performance efficiency the proposed study developed an algorithm and simulated it over a numerical computing tool in terms of different performance parameters. © 2019, Springer international Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.

In the paper we investigate an uncertain single machine total weighted tardiness problem where uncertainty of times of jobs execution and jobs deadlines are modeled by random variables with a normal distribution. We check the influence of applying elimination criteria to the robustness of the determined solutions. In many cases of high dimensional data analysis, data points may lie on manifolds of very complex shapes/geometries. thus, the usual Euclidean distance may lead to suboptimal results when utilized in clustering or visualization operations. In this work, we introduce a new distance definition in multi-dimensional spaces that preserves the topology of the data point manifold. the parameters of the proposed distance are discussed and their physical meaning is explored through 2 and 3-dimensional synthetic datasets. A robust method for the parameterization of the algorithm is suggested. Finally, a modification of the well-known k-means clustering algorithm is introduced, to exploit the benefits of the proposed distance metric for data clustering. Comparative results including other established clustering algorithms are presented in terms of cluster purity and V-measure, for a number of well-known datasets. © 2019, IFIP international Federation for Information Processing.

the possibility of creating thinking systems discusses issues that may arise in the near future of AI. However this outlines challenges to ensure that AI operates safely as it approaches humans in its intelligence from Algorithms Intelligent Systems. To understand how progress may proceed we need to understand how existing algorithms are developed and improve, differentiating the concepts between data analytics and data algorithmic decision making. this article reviews the literature on AI and AIS and presents some general guidelines and a brief summary of research progress and open research questions. the first section reviews the basic foundation of Artificial Intelligence to provide a common basis for further discussions and the second section of this paper suggests the development of Algorithm Intelligence Systems models including: learning algorithms such as learning from observations, learning in Neural and Belief Networks and reinforcement learning. © 2019, Springer international Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.

In this paper, we mention and address the limitation of an existing conversion method of intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) from fuzzy set (FS) and propose a novel conversion method for IFS from fuzzy set. To compare the proposed conversion method, we apply it on a TOPSIS method of MCDM problem in which criteria weights are determined using intuitionistic fuzzy entropy. advances in technologies such as cloud computing and Bring Your Own technology (BYOT) environments have dramatically changed the way in which organisations do business. Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) is at the core of this revolution, yet it has become an almost impossible task to protect CII against all possible threats effectively. Multi Agent Systems (MASs) and have addressed Critical Information Infrastructure Protection (CIIP) from unique ways, yet these approaches often lack a sufficient contextualisation of the environment and its dynamism. Without a sufficient contextualisation of an environment and the dynamism that is associated with it, an automated CIIP mechanism will never be truly effective. To address this contextualisation problem that autonomous CIIP-mechanism face, the SA-EF Cube model is proposed. the model can be used as a "checklist" to assess if an autonomous CIIP solution covers the fundamental requirements to contextualise the problem domain of CIIP. the SA-EF Cube model is by no means exhaustive in nature, serves as solid foundation for an implementation checklist before any CIIP mechanism is contextualised and developed. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the story of the Allied breaking of the German Enigma codes in World War 2 was first published in the 1970s. Even now many of the details, especially concerning the critical work in the 1930s undertaken by gifted and dedicated Polish codebreakers remains largely unknown. their work is credited with saving the Allies several years work and so shortening the war and saving thousands of lives. the holding of the IFIP World computer Congress in Poznan, home of the Polish codebreakers, gave an opportunity for their work to be highlighted to an international audience. Talks covering the work of the Polish, British and French codebreakers were given and webcast worldwide. In addition, a encoded Enigma message was sent at the start of the day from Poznan to Bletchley Park in the UK where the volunteers of the Bombe team at the National Museum of Computing successfully confirmed their breaking of the message at the start of the afternoon session. © 2019, the Author(s).

Error resilient high speed robust data communication is the primary need in the age of big data and Internet-of-things (IoT), where multiple connected devices exchange huge amount of information. Different multi-bit error detecting and correcting codes are used for error mitigation in the high speed data communication though it introduces delay and their decoding structures are quite complex. Here we have discussed the implementation of single bit error correcting Bose, Chaudhuri, Hocquenghem (BCH) code with simple decoding structure on a state-of-the art ReRAM based in-memory computing platform. ReRAM devices offer low leakage power, high endurance and non-volatile storage capabilities, coupled with stateful logic operations. the proposed lightweight library presents the mapping for generation of elements on Galois field (GF) for computation of BCH code, along with encoding and decoding operations on input data stream using BCH code. We have verified the results for BCH code with different dimensions using SPICE simulation. For (15,11) BCH code, the number of clock cycles required for element generation, decoding and encoding of BCH code are 103, 230 and 251 respectively, which demonstrates the efficacy of the mapping. © 2019, IFIP international Federation for Information Processing.

the study considers the resource allocation (RAl) for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) future cellular network (i.e., Cloud-RAN), where multiple mobile operators can distribute the Cloud-RAN infrastructure as well as network resources possessed by infrastructure providers. We have designed the resource allocation system by solving the dual-coupled problems at two distinct levels (i.e., Upper Level and Lower Level). the first level problem responsible for slicing the front haul capacity (Fcap) and computation of cloud resources for all operators (Op’s). this would indeed tend to increase the overall profits for each Op as well as infrastructure provider by accounting the numerical constraints on Fcap and computational resources. the study introduces a dual-level algorithmic approach to solve this two level RAl problem. At first-level, system considers both Ulevel and Llevel problems by relaxing discrete values with continuous ones. While in the second-level, we introduce two rounding methods to solve the optimal relaxed problems and attain a practical solution for the proposed problem. Finally, simulation results show that the designed algorithms efficiently perform the greedy approach to resource allocation and attain the discrete value very near to the total rate of upper bound acquired by solving resource allocation relaxed problems. © 2019, Springer international Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.
