In the autonomous control network environment, there are various ways to manage the nodes located under the controller management. We have proposed a node management method for managing nodes of ad-hoc networks that operate in a wireless network environment, by proceeding with research previously. In ad-hoc networks, communication between users is provided only through direct connections between nodes. that means are Ad-hoc network technology supports mobility directly through routing algorithms. therefore, in an ad hoc network environment, when a node connected to the node loses its loss due to node movement, the routing protocol transmits the traffic to be transmitted to the other node. In the SDN environment, the controller monitors, detects, and manages the traffic generated by the lower nodes. In this paper, we propose a hop count management method that supports multipath algorithm for node management in SDN controller.

In the case of a single drone system, a drone should commit its task to the cloud to reduce task completion time and energy consumption. However, a multi-drone system, where several drones are connected to each other, can divide a task into small tasks and assign each small task to drones to improve responsibility. In this paper, we propose an offloading decision scheme that considers task completion time and energy consumption. the proposed scheme compares the cost of executing small tasks on the drones with the cost of committing a task to the cloud and decides offloading a task only if the cost of offloading is definitely smaller than the cost of using multiple drones. Our simulation results show that the proposed decision scheme is necessary because offloading spends more energy and time in some cases.

Chronic diseases such as heart and blood vessels are considered among the most common and serious reasons of mortality in the world. In Europe alone, over four million deaths a year (45% of all deaths) are caused by heart diseases [1]. In addition, chronic diseases are responsible for 70 % of United States deaths, and account for more than 75% of annual United States medical care cost [2]. For instance, Cardio Vascular Diseases (CVD) are considered the main cause for around 14.3% of total deaths in Denmark5, and it is the main cause for over 45% of the total death in Lebanon6. It is too costly to keep CVD patients under control locally within the vicinity of a healthcare unit. thus, researchers recently started to realize the need for automated monitoring in health systems that are expected to reduce the overall death rate and cost associated with monitoring of patients. However, a general monitoring health system will not cover all diseases at once. therefore, there is a pushing necessity for monitoring health systems which are dedicated to specific health cases. To contribute to the ongoing efforts, this work develops an automated system which could be customized for various chronic diseases. A mobile application based solution is proposed. Further, the work concentrates on CVD by conducting a survey in Lebanon to investigate the acceptance and awareness of ECG for remote monitoring of patients. the results are promising and reflect how specialists are aware of the need to utilize the rapid development in technology combined with the widespread usage of mobile phone which may be used as the main device to guarantee 24/7 communication link for ECG. Adopting ECG in the healthcare system will allow for capturing some valuable data which could guide the development of a recommendation system. this will issue necessary alerts to specialists and guidance to patients and their careers so that specialists could attend to the case on timely basis and patients with their ca

Negative capacitance(NC) Field-effect-transistors(FETs) or NC Fin-shaped FET(NC FinFET) which utilizes the negative capacitance effect of ferroelectric material such as PZT or BTO has been suggested as a new candidate for ultra-low power steep switching devices for integrated circuits. the effect of NC on FinFET device has been demonstrated by using experiment and simulation method. However, the reliability issue still hinders the commercialization of NC FinFET device, and has to be experimentally studied. For this, this study suggests the gate leakage current of NC FinFET device which has minimum subthreshold slope of ～25 m V/decade.

Data mining tools and techniques are being developed and applied in different sector to predict information, market survey, decision making, knowledge discovery etc. Previously unknown hidden pattern and theory are found out from large database and data warehouse using data mining function. Different classifiers are frequently being used regarding such issues. In this research we have proposed a data mining model to identify prospective students for admission. We have used five popular classifier algorithms: Na?ve Bayes, K nearest neighbor(KNN), Decision Tree(J48), Support Vector Machine(SVM) and ZeroR. the results of these algorithms are analyzed comparatively. the model is tested with aprospective student admission database. Performancesof these classifiers are also illustrated and *** this study we have found that support vector machine shows comparatively better accuracy.

the researchers' primary objective is to determine the effectiveness of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program(4 Ps) on the social welfare and development of its beneficiaries. their respondents are the program beneficiaries in which the sample size is 104. they used Frequency and Percentage to determine the demographic profile of the respondents and weighted mean to know to 4 Ps support and its level of effectiveness on social welfare and development. they also used Chi-square Test to determine the relationship between the 4 Ps support and its effectiveness on social welfare and development. the study reveals that most of the household beneficiaries have four to six members and that there are three beneficiary children in most of the families. It is usual that the head and spouse finished high school. Majority of them reside in a house they own, with iron sheet roofing, concrete walls, and pail system toilet. Most of them own at least an electric fan, a television, a cellular phone. Families earning money from employment like construction worker, having other source, or the parent(s) is/are a vendor or a driver dominate. Further, the study shows that 4 Ps support is observed and is effective on social welfare and development of its beneficiaries in ***, City of Cabuyao, Laguna. the researchers found out that there is no significant relationship between the program support and the level of effectiveness on social welfare and development.

the effluent from an anaerobic wastewater treatment system of an ethanol production using molasses as the raw material, biomethanated WMB, contains very dark brown colour with high COD. this brown colour is mainly caused by melanoidin, a recalcitrant molecule with net negative charges. A modified chitosan, N-[(2 hydroxy-3-trimethylammonium) propyl] chitosan chloride(HTCC) was obtained from a chemical modification in order to increase the positive charges to the molecule and was used as a flocculant. In this work, the effects of several experimental condition were investigated. It was found that the agitation by a reciprocal shaker at 100 osc/min and an overhead stirrer at 500 rpm was required no longer than 5 and 3 min, respectively. the zeta potential values of HTCC at pH 4-9 were positive and it was decreased when the pH was increased. the extent of decolorisation when the pH of biomethanated WMB was in the range of 6-10 were not significantly different.

this study examines phenol removal from aqueous solutions through electro-Fenton(EF) process using iron electrode. the effect of operational parameters such as initial pH, current density, initial concentration of phenol, hydrogen peroxide dosage on the removal of phenol was investigated. the results showed that the efficiency of phenol removal had a direct relationship with initial concentration of hydrogen peroxide, and was inversely correlated with the highly alkaline pH and elevated concentration of phenol. the removal efficiency of phenol was significantly increased with increasing H2O2 concentration from 0.1 mM to 0.4 m M, but there was little influence on the removal efficiency in greater quantities of H2 O2. Ultimately, phenol was almost completely removed after 45 min in this process.

Recent breakthroughs in wireless energy transfer and rechargeable lithium batteries emerge the problem of mobile charge. Mobile charge describes a fleet of mobile chargers deliver energy to sensor nodes periodically and maintains the perpetual operation of the network. However, different energy consuming rate of each sensor node imposes a great challenge in scheduling mobile chargers. A follow-up study based on [1] and [2], we take into account the different energy consuming rate, to give the definition of time windows for the sensor nodes. In this paper, we propose a Collaborative Mobile Charge problem with Time Windows(CMCTW) and employ a Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows(VRPTW) model to solve it. Firstly, for determining the number of the mobile chargers and other important parameters, we investigate the quantitative relationship between problem model and solution model. Moreover, for solving the problem of multiple mobile chargers with different routing paths, we propose to transform the multiple routing problems into a single routing problem, by duplicating the sink into multiple virtual sinks. To improve the routing path, we propose a local optimization algorithm by considering the collaborative charging among the mobile chargers. the experimental results show that our collaborative scheduling compares with the artof-state algorithm is significantly better in solution stable and accurate.

Recently, as a low-cost non-thermal food processing technique, the food processing technique utilizing an underwater shockwave is receiving much attentions. In the non-thermal food processing system, the underwater shockwave is generated by discharging a high voltage between metal electrodes, where copper electrodes or aluminium electrodes are usually used as electrode materials in order to perform the non-thermal food processing. By utilizing underwater shockwaves, only the internal tissue of a target food can be disrupted without heating. However, a part of the electrodes is melted by the high electric discharge. In this paper, we focused on water contamination caused by the metal electrode which dissolved in water. As far as the authors know, the water contamination has not been investigated in past studies, though there is a possibility that the water contamination has an influence on human bodies. In this paper, we conducted the experimental evaluation of water contamination in the non-thermal food processing system utilizing an underwater shockwave. By using a water examination device, the contamination caused by copper electrodes was investigated for 100 samples. the experimental result showed that the copper concentration in the water of the pressure vessel was 0.33 mg/L at 17.5 degrees Celsius. the degree of thickness of the contaminated water was less than the standard copper value in the water quality standard for Japanese drinking water.
