Cruise control aims to reduce driver's efforts and provide a constant speed set by the driver. the proliferation of cruise control depends on the effectiveness of the feedback control. In this paper, a metaheuristic algorithm called Global Neighborhood Algorithm (GNA) is used for appropriately choosing the parameters of a PID controller with filter coefficient Ni (PID-N). the performance of PID, PID-N using GNA has been compared with the previous works (fuzzy logic, state space, genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm). the results obtained after performing the simulation showed that the proposed PID-N controller using GNA gives better results in all aspects (rise time, settling time, peak overshoot and peak time). All the simulations were done in MATLAB/Simulink. © 2021 ieee.

With the transformation of manufacturing mode and the development of computer technology, the numerical control system has been developed from the traditional closed to the open and intelligent. As the top-level design of numerical control technology, numerical control standard is the strategic support to guide and lead numerical control products to the high-end. However, the related technical standard system and index system of the numerical control system are still incomplete. through the research and analysis of the numerical control system software index and combined with engineering practice, this paper proposes the real-time performance index of the numerical control system and tests and analyzes the real-time performance of the numerical control system based on x86 and ARM architecture. this will be helpful for the objective evaluation of the performance and software support capability of the real-time system and will be a useful supplement to the evaluation of the open CNC system. © 2021 ieee.

Municipal solid waste management has been one of the most critical issues of urban cities today. Increasing population, constructions, industries, etc. are the major factors creating a large amount of waste that is dumped onto the landfill sites. Various systems have been proposed and are under the utilization for the management of municipal waste which includes mechanical vibration-based size-based sorters, eddy current sensor-based sorting of metallic waste, automatic optical waste sorters, etc. this paper focuses on a novel solution for solid waste segregation using the concepts of machine vision and deep learning. the proposed concept is tested for the segregation of solid dry waste particularly plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and tetra packs. the prototype system developed for the segregations works at high speed and accuracy. the prototype system sorts 250 objects per minute with an average accuracy of 96%. the proposed novel idea be extended and implemented for other types of waste segregation and can include more categories of solid dry waste. the system provides a solution for the ever-challenging municipal waste management problem. © 2021 ieee.

In this research paper the analysis between different controllers used in standalone Single-phase Photovoltaic (PV) inverters has been presented. Mainly 2 controllers are used such as Proportional Integral controller (PI) and Proportional Resonant (PR) controller. Both PI controller and PR controller can regulate the voltage during load variation. By using PR controller the steady state error of the system can be reduced. the PR controller with standalone PV inverter has better performance by comparing to the PI controller, it has shown by using simulation results. the proposed control methods are significant for the single phase standalone inverter to get the desired output. the reenactment results demonstrate the legitimacy of the proposed PR control conspires. Both simulation and experimental results will be presented. A 3kW isolated PV Inverter was designed and simulated for this research. © 2021 ieee.

Nowadays, people drive in a very long time. Accidents happen regularly, and we lost our respect for creating small mistakes but driving (school sector, hospital zone, highways). therefore, the Highways Department has marked zebra lines to avoid such accidents and to control the speed and horn noise of vehicles in such places. However, usually, there is no possibility of seeing such zebra lines and the accident or even when the driver sees zebra lines, their vehicles cannot slow down. Accidents are occurring frequently in high traffic areas. Drivers drive vigorously without carrying the traffic. Intimation for the motive force concerning speed isn't helpful;therefore, it is done by using automatic technology with the assistance of embedded systems. this project is targeted on the 'Zebra line detection and speed system using Raspberry Pi' by detecting the zebra lines within the zone. the main objective is to style a system meant for Vehicle's speed management and horn sound in these zones, which might run on Raspberry Pi. the system used Open Computer Vision as an image processing software system to scale back the speed of the moving vehicles once it reaches the zebra lines. © 2021 ieee.

Most industries are using the human power-based inventory management system. So, it is tough to find out the particular product's location in a colossal warehouse. For keeping away this difficulty, IoT based inventory control system is constructive since it keeps up the inventory's details and say to user the place where it is stored in the warehouse. this detailed product information is stored in the IoT platform via the internet for easy retrieval and analysis anywhere through the internet. IoT-based inventory control facilitates the management of input output goods of the industry without human interference. the inventory control system is playing an essential work in huge number of manufacturing and product-based methodology. In this paper, the RFID card details is sent to the receiver portion of accessible hardware through a wireless connection with the help of the internet. that industrial inventory control system, which is based on the Internet of things technology, has established to track the inventories attached to the card, as well as stock data and dates and times, for more confirmation. the Raspberry Pi serves as a cooperative controller for all data management. the entire mechanism generates an archetype that corresponds to data and information flows. the web page is designed to make it easy for the user to monitor items and communicate with it. In comparison to the current warehouse inventory system, the developed management system is a very low-cost system that operates dynamically. © 2021 ieee.

through the massive use of mobile devices, data clouds, and the rise of Internet of things, enormous amount of data has been generated and analyzed for the benefit of society. NoSQL Databases and specially key-value stores become the backbone in managing these large amounts of data. Most of key-value stores ignore transactions due to their effect on degrading key-value store's performance. Meanwhile, programmable switches with the software-defined networks and the Programming Protocol-Independent Packet Processor (P4) lead to a programmable network where in-network computation can help accelerating the performance of applications. In this paper, we proposed a networking support for transaction processing in distributed key-value stores. Our system leverages the programmable switch to act as a transaction coordinator. Using a variation of the time stamp ordering concurrency control approach, the programmable switch can decide to proceed in transaction processing or abort the transaction directly from the network. Our experimental results on an initial prototype show that our proposed approach, while supporting transactions, improves the throughput by up to 4X and reduces the latency by 35% when compared to the existing architectures. © 2021 ieee.

As complexity of the distribution center has grownup, substation computerization has become a requirement for any local utility to increase its reliability and enhances the effectiveness of electricity supplied. the proposed project that manages the substation with the assistance of the required components to ensure that it can be remotely controlled and supervised to provide the intensity intrusion is decreased. the microcontroller can combine and undertake a role as dictated with the sensors implemented at the substation. Electrical parameters including such current, voltage, the rated value might be consistently compared to prevent future damages of the power delivery system and control transformer from overflowing due to overkill, short trip deficiency, surge voltage, and outpourings. Beneath such situations, different steps are carried out in order to avoid it. which detect it, and closed down through the use of the control area and the electrical switch is rendered useless. this causes staff at the substation to really be lowered and saves a lot of time. the data gathering and practical efficiency of the sub-station could probably rise in this manner. © 2021 ieee.

the integer-order (IO) differentiation and integration is mainly used in traditional calculus. Many researchers have proved that a real system can be described more accurately by fractional-order (FO) models than the classical integer-order models and gaining more and more attention compared with integer-order. Fractional calculus, it is the mathematics branch in which the computation of a derivative or integral of any real-order is involved rather than just an integer. In this work, we considered IO plants with FOPID controllers from different references for reduction of control efforts for controllers to make the industrial systems more energy efficient. FOPID controller used to show improvement over IOPID controller, the control effort taken by FOPID controller with IO plant is expected comparatively less for some values of alpha, but the effort required should be less for the improvement. In this analysis, we want to show superiority of the Fractional-order PID over integer order controllers when plant is integer *** calculate parameter performance and the advantages of fractional-order PID controller against traditional integer-order controllers, many researchers did the comparative *** reduce and minimize the control effort i.e. energy required for FO-PID controller is quantified and demonstrated. © 2021 ieee.
