Owing to these theories that the capacitor and inductor are fractional-order differential properties of circuit component are studied and cognized, DC-DC buck converter circuit modeling that considering these theories are being put forward. Moreover, terminal sliding mode control method is considered the one of the most ideal methods for DC-DC buck converter system in recent years. In order to analyze and study incommensurate fractional-order buck converters which differ from the previous studies assumed buck converters are second-order or commensurate fractional systems, this paper will be utilized fractional-order terminal sliding mode control method. therefore, a new sliding mode surface involved fractional-order differential properties will be presented. the simulations showed that terminal sliding mode control can converge tracking error to zero in finite time. But what is even more important is that it can enrich incommensurate fractional-order buck converters theory. © 2017 ieee.

Cloud computing nowadays are gaining high importance from government services, private users and public sectors. the rise in cloud computing is due to the provided facilities such as flexibility, disaster recovery, security, etc. Moving data into cloud servers provide great convenience to users because they just have to upload their data and not care about the hardware management and security. But, the sensitive or privacy relevant data has some major implications. the techniques used so far for storage security are the cryptographic methods and some compression techniques such as compression sensing, JPEG compression technique, etc. to make more space for future data. In this paper we propose a system so that the cloud storage can be made more secure. To increase the efficiency, we are using DCT algorithm for compression and AES for encryption. the main concept of the proposed system is to increase the security so we are splitting the image in chunks. this Image splitting method, lowers the risk of image being retrieved by attacker as we upload the chunks instead of image.

In this paper, we aim to improve the overall performance of kernel adaptive filters by adaptively combining several component filters with different parameters setting in the practical applications. the convex combination scheme is exploited to incorporate any two parallel diversity branches which could be the component filter or the output of previous combination layer. the proposed convex combination of multiple kernel adaptive filters can provide the more robust and better performance than the single filters with fixed parameters especially in the nonstationary complex environments without priori knowledge. Simulation results illustrate the superior performance of the proposed approach. © 2017 ieee.

the convergence of information technology and operational technology is a strong force in fabric automation. Service-oriented architectures and cloud computing technologies expand into next generation production systems. those technologies enable a lot of new possibilities;such as high agility, global connectivity and high computing capacities. However, they also bring huge challenges regarding flexibility and reliability through increasing system dynamics, complexity and heterogenity. New solution patterns are needed to conquer those challenges. this paper proposes a new fog-oriented approach, which shows how future production systems, that are often called cyber-physical production systems, can deal with dynamically changing services and infrastructure elements. the goal is to provide an adequate degree of flexibility and reliability across the whole production lifecycle. therefore, an event property model ("bubble model"), a multi-criterial evaluation metric and extensions to Kuhn-Munkres and Add algorithm are described. the overall concept is evaluated by an application example from the field of process engineering. With the help of practical case studies and dynamic system simulations, qualitative results are gained.

Transaction management with tree-based consistency in cloud databases

the maintenance of the ACID properties of atomicity, consistency, isolation and durability has been one of the main challenges to the implementation of transactional databases in the cloud. the main cloud computing features of scalability, availability and reliability are typically achieved by sacrificing consistency. While different forms of consistency have been introduced, these weaker consistent states do not address the needs of many database applications. In this paper, we implement a transaction management system using our tree-based consistency (TBC) approach. TBC is serialisable and guarantees the ACID properties. Our experimental results illustrate that TBC has better performance than other approaches, such as the quorum approach, regardless of the arrival rate, read-write ratio, or database size. the tree-based consistency approach is shown to be a viable solution for ACID transactional database management in a cloud. At present, the fault diagnosis of grinding system is evaluated by human being, which causes low efficiency, low accuracy, high cost and casualties easily. the traditional method has the unsatisfied performance on the classification ability of sample dataset with high dimension and temporal correlation. Aiming at the above problems, a RNN-LSTM based deep learning method is proposed in the paper, which realizes the intelligent fault diagnosis of grinding system. the dataset is batched for inputs of LSTM networks, and the temporal correlation of dataset is extracted, which is used to analyze the fault classification of feature vectors input of before and after time. We conduct the comparison of RNN-LSTM based networks and autoencoder based networks via simulation. It is concluded that the RNN-LSTM based method is obviously superior to the method with autoencoder for the dataset with high dimension and high temporal correlation, and the result of the error rate is less than 3%. © 2017 ieee.

Virtual robot simulation control is the key technology of the virtual surgery system. A new human-computer interactive motion control algorithm was proposed by researching and analyzing the issues that robot motion simulation in the virtual environment was not realistic and not intuitive. By using this algorithm, the force feedback device Omega.7 could control the position and attitude of the virtual robots respectively, which made the virtual simulation more realistic and reliable. First, a virtual robot motion control simulation platform was set up. Second, the D-H parameter method was used to analyzing and studying the kinematics of the virtual robot. On the basis of this, the corresponding relationship between the behavior information of the Omega.7 and the motion information of the robot in the virtual environment was established. Finally, by using of the Omega.7, the virtual robot motion was controlled, and the virtual robot fully mapped the position and attitude of the Omega.7, the human-computer interaction was achieved. the simulation results showed that the motion control method could realize the real-time and effective motion control of the virtual robot by Omega.7, which was more realistic and reliable than the traditional control method, and visually gave the operator a sense of immersion and reality sense, so that the operator had an immersive feel. © 2017 ieee.

In this research, a smart transportation system integrated with a management system of highly distributed communication network for Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) was designed. the Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system is a new and easy-To-use transportation solution for 1-4 persons to destination directly. PRT system offers great potential for becoming a common transportation system in the future involving driverless vehicles, ride comfort and collision warning with low construction cost and operation cost. In PRT system, two important functions are automatic driverless control and crossway merging control. To have safe and smooth merging operation in automated vehicle systems for PRT, a merging management system is necessary. Our work proposed a new merging management system related to distributed traffic control, new locating method and safe dynamic headway. In this system, an efficient car communication was built based on the vehicle-To-vehicle (V2V) wireless protocol and highly distributed control. In order to determine the car location, RFID technique is used in the system. A new buffer-zone strategy and fuzzy logic control are two efficient vehicle-merging algorithms that are required for dynamic determination of the merging sequence for all cars in a Y-intersection. From simulation results, it was found that cruise distance can be safely kept from each car to its front car and each car can merge into mainline smoothly gently and efficiently. © 2017 ieee.

the general energy demand of the residential sector and the ensuing option for fossil fuels produce adverse results by both CO2, greenhouse gases (GHG) and extra air pollutant emissions. As domestic energy demand consists mostly of energy necessities for space and water heating alongside the energy dedicated for appliances, distinct strategies that target to foment a practical consumption of energy have to be reinforced at all levels of human activity. In this paper the aim is to make a comparison between proportional-integral-derivative (PID), thermostat (ON/OFF) control and Model Predictive control (MPC) models of a domestic heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system controlling the temperature of a room. the model of the household with local solar microgeneration is implicit to be located in a Portuguese city. the house of the case study is at the mercy to the local solar temperature, irradiance and 5 Time-of-Use (ToU) electricity rates applied on a complete week of August, 2016. the second purpose of this study is to assess which is the best electricity ToU rate option provided by the local electricity retailer for the residential sector.
