Recent studies have shown the dependency of AI in various domains of life, this dependency makes it important for one to be able to communicate with AI agents without having to memorize specific commands, the scope of this paper deals with a novel pipeline comprising of an in house generated ASR providing Hindi and English language competencies with a context recognition engine named “Audio Insights” to derive contextual information from said statements and proving AI agents the capability to infer non-structured audio inputs. the pipeline makes use of SMER and SNIPS NLU to provide medical use-case AI Agents. the SMER model above is a self-generated ensemble learning approach with training on two datasets: “BC5_CDR” and “MIMICIII”. the research also extends to deliver theoretical Medical Helper Bots which may be used for booking medicines, finding alternate drugs, and scheduling appointments. the proposed mechanism achieved benchmark accuracies of English ASR as 96.3%, Hindi ASR as 89.25%, Intent Classification as 94%, and Entity Classification as 86.95% making the mechanism a deployable solution in the near future.

the use of artificial intelligence and other technical means for oracle bone recognition is crucial for the inheritance of Chinese civilization and the promotion of language and writing research in the new era. this paper proposes a method to recognize oracle bone inscriptions based on YOLOv8 model processing. Firstly, median filtering and open morphological processing methods are used to reduce the noise, and then binarization and corrosion/expansion operations are carried out to highlight the fonts in order to reflect the morphology and characteristics of the fonts. And at the same time, bilinear interpolation is used to optimize the smoothness of the image and increase the curvature of the texture. Considering that some of the topos will be broken, this paper fills the topos with cracks. After that, the above processed images are used for character distribution recognition and automatic segmentation of oracle bone characters, and the obtained data are input into the YOLOv8 model for training and the adaptive optimizer is used to optimize the learning efficiency. After 100 iterations, a robust YOLOv8 model for automatic segmentation of oracle characters is obtained. the model can realize the functions of automatic segmentation of oracle text, data labeling and confidence level display.

Many services in the internet including Email, search engine, social networking are provided with free of charge due to enormous growth of web users. With the expansion of web services, denial of service (DoS) attacks by malicious automated programs (e.g. web bots) is becoming a serious problem of web service accounts. In order to avoid tremendous attack from malicious computer programs, HIP, or Human Interactive Proofs has been introduced to distinguish humans from computers. HIPs are designed to be easy for humans but hard for machines. Unfortunately, the existing HIPs tried to maximize the difficulty for automated programs to pass tests by increasing distortion or noise. Consequently, it has also become difficult for potential users too. In our proposed technique we resolve this problem by making use of human cognitive processing abilities through emoticons focusing mainly on users. Features like language independence, using this for advertising purpose, ease of use interface for the touch-based smart-phone users, easy tuning of security and usability level make it very attractive to web service providers. In the result section, a microscopic large-scale user study was conducted involving 118 users to investigate the actual user views compare to existing state of the art CAPTCHA systems like ESP-PIX and Asirra in terms of usability and security and found our system can be solved with 88.04% average success rate in less than 7 seconds.

Knowledge graph reasoning is a key task in the field of natural language processing, aiming to infer missing entities or relations through existing information in the graph. Multi-hop knowledge graph reasoning has been one of the hot topics in knowledge graph research in recent years. However, due to the inherent incompleteness of knowledge graphs, effectively completing knowledge graphs has become a challenge. Multi-hop knowledge graph reasoning provides an interpretable solution by predicting missing links through exploring paths between entities. Most previous works have used reinforcement learning (RL) based methods to learn paths towards target entities. However, these methods may lack the ability to capture long-distance dependencies between entities, and they may fail to infer a path when there are missing edges along the path. To address these issues, we propose a multi-hop reasoning model based on sequence-to-sequence Transformer model named MHKGR. We introduce two modeling improvements to address the above problems: (1) we introduce a position-aware attention mechanism, which allows the model to flexibly focus on entities on different paths during the reasoning process, thereby improving the accuracy of multi-hop reasoning paths; (2) we optimize the output distribution of the model when generating reasoning paths by introducing a global response normalization module, which reduces noise and interference from irrelevant paths, enhancing the model’s ability to identify correct reasoning paths. We conducted extensive experiments on multiple standard and sparse knowledge graph datasets, and the results show that our method outperforms previous methods significantly.

this paper describes MILER (Multi-modal data Logger for Evaluation and Report). a web-based multi-service monitoring, logging ami reporting tool for advanced multi-modal dialog systems. MILER has been designed to directly arrange and synchronize logging dala collected from live services and to provide real-time reports about service usage and system perfbrmance. Special attention has been given to the architecture design in order to achieve service and access-device independence and reliable synchronization of data from distributed logs. MILER allows researchers to analyze multimodal interactions, analyze the call flow. reconstruct the system/user dialogue turns, play the recorded user utterances. and provide a preliminary dialogue performance evaluation. It also supports labeling and annotation of the dialogue turns for further offline analysis. Once the user inputs (i.e. speech and other input modalities) are manually transcribed and labeled. along with detailed log events from each dialog. MILER derives a set of objective measures. which includes word and concept accuracy. number of attempts per concept, dialog turn counts and duration, and task completion rates. Subjectivemeasures extracted from user's surveys, including perceived task success and ease of use measures, can be combined with the objective measures and the results used later for accuracy compination

In this paper, we propose a GAN-based codec for wideband speech coding at low bitrates, which contains a conventional encoder and a neural vocoder with lower dimensional input. the method contains the following two innovations: Firstly, we add vocal tract features as vocoder input, fusing them with energy features, so that the model improves the generated speech quality under limited input dimensions. Secondly, we propose a sub-band time-frequency discriminator. the discriminator divides the input frequency band into several sub-bands according to the auditory sense, independently learning and discriminating the features in each sub-band. the experimental results show that the proposed method reaches the state-of-the-art for low bit rate speech coding, and the computational complexity of proposed method is about 2 GMACs, demonstrating the superior performance of the proposed method.

Real-world data often presents itself in the form of a network. Examples include social networks, citation networks, biological networks, and knowledge graphs. In their simplest form, networks represent real-life entities (e.g. people, papers, proteins, concepts) as nodes, and describe them in terms of their relations with other entities by means of edges between these nodes. this can be valuable for a range of purposes from the study of information diffusion to bibliographic analysis, bioinformatics research, and question-answering. the quality of networks is often problematic though, affecting downstream tasks. this paper focuses on the common problem where a node in the network in fact corresponds to multiple real-life entities. In particular, we introduce FONDUE, an algorithm based on network embedding for node disambiguation. Given a network, FONDUE identifies nodes that correspond to multiple entities, for subsequent splitting. Extensive experiments on fourteen benchmark datasets demonstrate that FONDUE is substantially and uniformly more accurate for ambiguous node identification compared to the existing state-of-the-art with a lower computational cost, while less optimal for determining the best way to split ambiguous nodes.

Word obfuscation or substitution means replacing one word with another word in a sentence to conceal the textual content or communication. Word obfuscation is used in adversarial communication by terrorist or criminals for conveying their messages without getting red-flagged by security and intelligence agencies intercepting or scanning messages (such as emails and telephone conversations). ConceptNet is a freely available semantic network represented as a directed graph consisting of nodes as concepts and edges as assertions of common sense about these concepts. We present a solution approach exploiting vast amount of semantic knowledge in ConceptNet for addressing the technically challenging problem of word substitution in adversarial communication. We frame the given problem as a textual reasoning and context inference task and utilize ConceptNet's natural-language-processing tool-kit for determining word substitution. We use ConceptNet to compute the conceptual similarity between any two given terms and define a Mean Average Conceptual Similarity (MACS) metric to identify out-of-context terms. the test-bed to evaluate our proposed approach consists of Enron email dataset (having over 600000 emails generated by 158 employees of Enron Corporation) and Brown corpus (totaling about a million words drawn from a wide variety of sources). We implement word substitution techniques used by previous researches to generate a test *** conduct a series of experiments consisting of word substitution methods used in the past to evaluate our approach. Experimental results reveal that the proposed approach is effective.

Due to growth of AI enabled IOT devices, their use in sports feature identification can be beneficial in terms of recognition quality. Computer Vision is a powerful tool for moving object recognition and tracking. Football identification and recognition problem can be implemented using OpenCV libraries with the help of a programming language like Java, Python etc. OpenCV has special modules that contain specific algorithms and features for moving object recognition and tracking. Internet of things provides a way to connect hardware components through software implementation. In the proposed model the automatic camera module has been implemented through IoT with the help of a servo motor and raspberry pi. the main aim of this paper is to automate the work of a cameraman in a football match by automatically tracking and recognizing the football and broadcasting it with the help of an automatic camera. the initial loss was about 1749, and after 1600+ epochs iterations, the loss reduced to 0.09 in the final model. © 2023, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the increasing need of small knowledge-intensive companies for loosely-coupled collaboration and ad-hoc knowledge sharing has led to a strong requirement for an alternative approach to developing knowledge management systems. this paper proposes a framework for managing organisational knowledge that builds on a socio-technical perspective and considers people as well as technology as two highly interconnected components. We introduce a conceptualised system architecture that merges enterprise social software characteristics from the realm of Enterprise 2.0, and information processing techniques from the domain of Semantic web technologies. In order to deliver a KM approach that could assist in reducing the socio-technical gap, we suggest deploying such a solution using an integrated sociotechnical implementation methodology. © 2018 SCPE.
