the demand of AI is increasing day by day in the medical field. Machine Learning (ML) is subset of AI. ML has become popular tool and widely used to detect several medical diseases at higher accuracy. Promising accuracy of ML algorithms depend on training of digital images like CT, MRI, X-rays etc. In this paper, CNN model is proposed to classify brain tumour into malignant and non-malignant class and comparative study using diverse ML algorithm is conducted and their accuracy is compared. this paper explores role of ML in clinical diagnosis, accurate prediction and clinical analysis regarding brain tumour disease based on various brain tumour dataset like figshare, brats, Kaggle. Proposed CNN model has achieved 98% promising accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

Efficient data compression methods are critical for optimizing storage, accelerating data transfer, and improving system performance. this study gives a comprehensive comparison of three data compression algorithms: Run-Length Encoding (RLE), Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW), and Burrows-Wheeler Transform (BWT). Each technique was assessed in terms of time efficiency, geographical complexity, and feasibility. According to our findings, LZW typically outperforms other approaches, although RLE and BWT perform very well in some cases. We thoroughly evaluate each algorithm to identify its merits, limitations, and potential areas for development.

Radar signal pre-sorting, generally adopts a clustering algorithm, which can reduce the workload for the next main sorting. However, the traditional clustering algorithm is employed with inherent defects - strong stochasticity, poor robustness and burdensome computation. To reduce these limitations, the principle of K-Mean algorithm is studied to analyze its merits, and a pre-sorting model based on Mean-Shift (PSMS) algorithm is proposed. the sorting accuracy and performance of K-Means and Mean-Shift algorithms are analyzed by using the same batch of radar signals. through computer simulation analysis, the conclusion is drawn that Mean-Shift algorithm has certain superiority and application value in radar signal pre-sorting. © 2022 IEEE.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of vaccinations during its roll-out, the question regarding the best strategy to achieve immunity in the population by adjusting the time between the two necessary vaccination doses was intensively discussed. this strategy has already been studied from various angles by various researches. However, the combinatorial optimization problem and its complexity has not been the focus of attention. In this paper, we study the complexity of different versions of this problem by first proposing a simple approach using a matching algorithm. then, we extend the approach by adding constraints and multiple manufacturers. Finally, we discuss a variation of the problem where three vaccinations are necessary, including the so-called "booster". this problem turns out to be NP-hard.

the study focuses on the perforation process of ultra-long drilling and grouting piles under the complex geological conditions of the Yellow River alluvial plain. Spectral clustering analysis is employed to conduct an in-depth investigation of various regional geological attributes. these geological attributes include soil heterogeneity, fluctuations in groundwater levels, and the accumulation of sediments, which significantly influence the perforation behavior of ultra-long drilling and grouting piles. After collecting geological attribute data from 300 sample points, the spectral clustering algorithm is applied to categorize these points into five distinct geological categories. through a detailed analysis of the clustering results, distinct characteristics of different geological categories and their spatial distribution within the research area are obtained. For regions with high sediment water content, it is recommended to use underwater construction techniques, utilizing suspended construction platforms to enhance foundation stability. Directional drilling using rock drills and foundation reinforcement through grouting piles is suggested in areas with low rock water content. In clayey soil regions, the construction technique of mixing piles is recommended to improve the strength and stability of the clay. Vibratory piles may be a practical choice for sandy soil regions, with the consideration of using jet grouting piles to enhance pile stability. In areas with complex strata, a multi-technique approach, such as combination piles, is advised to adapt to diverse geological conditions. this study not only provides an in-depth understanding of the geological attributes under the complex geological conditions of the Yellow River alluvial plain but also offers practical guidance for the construction techniques of ultra-long drilling and grouting piles. this guidance holds substantial significance for the foundation engineering design and construction in the Yellow R

thousands of women worldwide are diagnosed with breast cancer yearly, which may be fatal if not treated. the diagnosis of the condition may take years, by which time the patient has little choice except to have the affected breast removed. Early diagnosis and treatments are the best ways to stop this disease's spread. In this study, the authors presented a Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system to assist in breast cancer diagnosis. the study uses the Wisconsin breast cancer dataset to classify benign and malignant data. For the classification, three pre-trained Deep learning algorithms: Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), were used. A novel CNN model that exceeds the performance efficiency of three pre-trained models and requires minimal compilation time is proposed. A number of evaluation matrices are used to analyze the models' classification abilities. Upon closer inspection, it has been established that the proposed CNN model outperforms CNN, LSTM, and MLP models with validation accuracy of 97.85%. CNN and LSTM performed with accuracies of 94.12% with the Adagrad optimizer and 93.5% with the Adam optimizer, respectively. Furthermore, MLP performance with 92.44% accuracy using the Adam optimizer. the proposed CNN model achieves the lowest Loss value and compilation time. In addition, the models' recall value, precision, and f1-score are computed to pick out the most effective model for diagnosing breast cancer on numeric data. © 2023 IEEE.

Gender-based societal bias can lead to digital inequality and digital exclusion. An under-addressed marginalized group is the non-binary community, comprised of those who do not fully identify their gender as male or female. the assumption of a gender binary can become ingrained in the systems and algorithms undergirding technology. AI provides companies the ability to leverage tracked online behaviors to create targeted advertising profiles based on systematic, algorithmic-assigned personal characteristics. Given the potential for digital exclusion, digital inequality, and data violence, these online advertising profiles may be inaccurate and even harmful to non-binary people. this poster presents preliminary findings from a survey of nonbinary participants on perspectives on the representation of their identities in AI-generated online advertising profiles. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Hand gesture recognition is a computer vision technique that involves the automatic identification of hand gestures and movements. this method has attracted substantial interest owing to its potential utility in various domains, such as computer-mediated communication between humans and machines, identification of sign language gestures, and simulation environments. the process of hand gesture recognition consists of several steps, including image acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification. Different techniques, such as convolutional neural networks, deep belief networks, and support vector machines, have been proposed for each of these steps to detect yoga positions. Nevertheless, the task of hand gesture recognition continues to present significant challenges because of the wide range and complexity inherent in human hand gestures. therefore, this research aims to explore the latest techniques and advancements in hand gesture recognition and propose a robust and accurate method for real-time hand gesture recognition in various scenarios. In order to assess the efficacy of the proposed approach, standard datasets for hand gesture recognition will be employed as a means of evaluation. Subsequently, a comparison between our method and existing state-of-the-art techniques will be conducted. this research has the potential to contribute to the development of future applications of hand gesture recognition. © 2023 IEEE.

the requirements of the contemporary manufacturing environment where the delivery of 100% defect-free PCBs is expected, have increased the significance of the printed circuit boards (PCBs) inspection process. Billions of Electronic products are manufactured annually, and the success rate of proper working is 97 % out of 100%. the remaining 3% is faulty products and most faults occur due to PCBs. this is a huge loss for the company;it is therefore needed to overcome the problem. this research will conduct a study of the newest model YOLO v7 (You-Only-Look-Once) algorithm of deep learning to find out the solution to minimize the loss of the company, it is an advanced kind of image classification in which an end-to-end neural network identifies defects in an image and highlights them with bounding boxes. this work is presented for the quality inspection, different types of fault detection, and classification of PCBs. Deep learning algorithms, such as convolutional neural networks (CNN), due to their high accuracy and efficiency have achieved considerable attention. In this proposed approach a highly accurate dataset was taken from the Open Lab of Peking University. the data set includes 1386 images having six kinds of defects (open circuit, spur, short circuit, missing hole, mouse bite, and spurious copper). this research aims to bring a solution not to have faulty PCBs and further decrease the manufacturing cost and product waste and enhance the manufacturing process of the company. © 2023 IEEE.
