Software requirement prioritization is a critical step in software development, as it directly impacts project efficiency and success. Despite the availability of various prioritization techniques, there remains a gap in directly comparing optimization algorithms for this purpose. this study addresses this gap by evaluating three widely-used metaheuristic-based optimization algorithms: Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO). Using a dataset enriched with attributes such as cost, value, prerequisites, and test cases, the algorithms were analyzed based on accuracy, execution time, and computational complexity. the results show that GA and PSO demonstrate comparable accuracy (82%) and efficiency, with GA exhibiting faster execution time (0.822s) compared to PSO (1.324s). GWO, while slightly less accurate (81%) and slower (3.017s), offers unique advantages in specific optimization contexts. this study provides actionable insights for software engineers in selecting appropriate algorithms to optimize resource allocation and enhance decision-making during requirement prioritization.

In this research, some computational approaches based on biological evolutionary theory have been employed to diminish the total harmonic distortion (thD) of a cascaded 7-level -inverter system. Two evolutionary strategies, the GA (Genetic Algorithm) and PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) are utilized to resolve the transcendental equations of SHE PWM for a 7-level symmetrical inverter voltage waveform. this study compares the lower-order harmonics and thD reduction performance of GA and PSO with another recent work of Bio-Inspired Intelligent Algorithm Based SHE in Multilevel Inverter. the thD values of that paper using GA and PSO were reduced in this research and also the individual 3rd, 5th, and 7th order harmonics have been reduced using GA and 3rd, 5th order harmonics have been reduced using PSO. this study depicts the use of evolutionary algorithms for SHE- PWM in multilevel inverters.

this article describes the use of heat pipes in aerospace technologies. their operating principle, advantages and disadvantages, and problem solving using UPS modeling. the possibility of modeling, the main technologies, and the amount of heat that must be removed for various technologies in this area are described. the main dependencies are constructed that reflect the properties of the modeled model, and also act as a limitation on the pore sizes.

A lightweight, high-performance, and unsupervised method to reconstruct the surface from 3D point cloud data, named green point cloud surface reconstruction (GPSR), is proposed in this work. GPSR's core concept involves building a rough signed distance field (SDF) and iteratively refining it. the method comprises three modules: 1) rough SDF initialization, 2) iterative SDF refinement, and 3) surface extraction from refined SDF. Initially, GPSR employs a voxel representation and utilizes a heat diffusion process, implemented through Gaussian kernel convolution, to establish an initial SDF. In the refinement stage, additional heat sources and sinks are introduced around points to further refine the SDF. Finally, the surface is extracted from the temperature grid. the paper's contribution lies in leveraging the approximated heat diffusion to produce surfaces under low complexity. Extensive experiments demonstrate GPSR's robust performance compared to other benchmarking methods across various types of point set degradation.

the paper considers current problems of increasing the explainability of artificial intelligence (AI) systems in the medical field. the main technical, methodological and ethical challenges associated with the development of transparent AI systems are analyzed. Key explainability issues are investigated, including the complexity of neural network architecture, the multidimensionality of medical data and the need to adapt explanations for different interested parties. An overview of modern approaches to increasing the interpretability of AI systems is presented, and a comparative analysis of existing methods is carried out. the critical importance of developing explainable AI technologies for ensuring trust, safety and effectiveness of medical technologies is shown.

the present study is of great significance in the context of the rapid advancements being made in information technologies, particularly in relation to the increasing complexity of distributed IT infrastructures, which necessitate automated configuration in order to ensure efficient operation. the research examines the Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approach with a view to providing a more profound understanding of how modern IT systems can be managed, deployed, and scaled in an effective manner. the findings will establish a solid foundation for exploring infrastructure automation and related as-code methodologies, thus supporting future research and innovation. the study's findings contribute to the enhancement of technology management practices, empowering organizations to develop more robust, reliable, and adaptable IT solutions. In essence, the study addresses the challenges of managing complex digital environments while promoting scalability, consistency, and efficiency in modern IT operations.

Integrating blockchain technology with the Internet of things (IoT) systems could achieve various benefits like cost reduction and interoperability, but this integration also poses challenges, especially with regard to security and privacy as shown in recent literature. From an industrial perspective, this integration faces unique privacy implications depending on the application domain and the data sensitivity that could add more complexity and challenges. In this context, this paper adopts an analytical approach that builds on recent research work to provide an updated review of the common privacy and security challenges and issues resulting from the integration of blockchain with the Internet of things (BIoT). In addition, it will highlight the varying complexity across three application domains: Internet of Vehicles, Smart Healthcare and Prison Systems.

the rapid expansion and diversity of technology throughout society have impacted the growing knowledge gap in conducting analysis on IoT devices. the IoT digital forensic field lacks the necessary tools and guidance to perform digital forensics on these devices. this is mainly attributed to their level of complexity and heterogeneity that is abundant within IoT devices-making the use of a JTAG technique one of the only ways to acquire information stored on an IoT device effectively. Nonetheless, utilizing a JTAG technique can be challenging, especially when having multiple devices with each possibly having its own configuration. To alleviate these issues within the field, we propose the development of an Internet of things-Forensics Recovery Assistant (IoT-FRA). the IoT-FRA will offer the capabilities of an expert system to assist inexperienced users in performing forensics recovery of IoT devices through a JTAG technique and analysis on the device's capabilities to develop an organized method that will prioritize IoT devices to be analyzed. © 2021 IEEE.
