Multi-finger dexterous hands provide robots with a way to perform manipulation tasks in environments adapted for human beings. their complexity makes the control process a challenging field of research. Techniques such as Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) aim to resolve their control but encounter problems and inefficiencies due to the large number of Degrees of Freedom (DoF) and the system's complexity. this is where the use of Imitation Learning (IL) techniques arises, which rely on human data to perform a learning process that optimizes the search space for an optimal solution. In this work, an IL application is presented for a low-cost dexterous robotic hand, the LEAP Hand. For this purpose, a data collection algorithm is used through the control of a generic robotic hand that adapts to the user's structure and allows the generalization of these demonstrations to any robotic hand. We have implemented a data capture process using an RGBD RealSense camera, which allows controlling the robotic hand. After this, we generate the data structure following a Markov Decision Process (MDP) through a Behavioral Cloning (BC) process, which is used as a basis for training the specific task. For this process, Demo Augmented Policy Gradient (DAPG) is used. To verify the efficiency, the data were collected by different users, and a comparison was made with highly used algorithms within the DRL field, obtaining more robust results in a shorter learning time.

Ophthalmic diseases have globally afflicted visual functioning and activities of daily living for many people. Among these vision-threatening disorders, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts constitute major causes of visual deficit. Although preventative diagnosis could have precluded the development of vision loss in many individuals, suitable screening methods for early detection of ophthalmic diseases have not yet been explored. this study presents an ophthalmic disease diagnostic assistance system powered by deep learning algorithms, which can identify common ophthalmic conditions by interfacing with the Wechat Applet. the performance metrics of the proposed assistance system are a response speed of 20ms and an accuracy of 88.7% in diagnosing three common ocular diseases.

Everyone in this rapid evolution generation makes use of online resources. there is a huge amount of textual content available online from several sources, including social media apps, e-commerce sites, movie recommendation system, etc. Everyone in the modern society provides a variety of reviews for a specific product or item. An effective and smart technique is required that can analyze and provide the polarity of this textual data. since it is impossible to manually review such a vast volume of user-generated data. For this user-generated data, automatic sentiment classification is possible using a variety of tools and methods. Opinion mining and sentiment classification benefit from the dependable and accuracy of machine learning. Moreover, the sentiment analysis and evaluation process are fraught with difficulties. these complexities make it difficult to interpret sentiments accurately and figure out the right sentiment polarity. this article describes an overview on sentiment analysis(SA) applications, challenges, and issues encountered by researchers, with the goal of providing a systematic review on sentiment analysis and related areas for future research.

Artificial intelligence (AI) Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP)are being employed in a growing number of sectors and is evolving as the technology of the future. It has been widely used to improve the quality of decision-making and problem-solving. this research study proposes a secured framework for banking chatbots using AI-ML and NLP. the framework based on qualitative in-depth experts interviews can be used for developing efficient chartbots for managing customer interactions of various data forms. AI enabled chatbots involves use of machine learning algorithms that can communicate with consumers in a conversational manner. AI enabled chatbots can speak common man’s language language and utilize voice as a user interface. Chatbots are used in the public and private sectors to provide virtual help in areas such as telecommunications, media, tourism, retail, stock markets, and banking. In the banking business, chatbot can act as a communication tool between customers and banks. It has a special advantage in financial industry as it can be automated and does not necessitate human interaction; and can enhance accessibility and provide a lot of features to customers.

In this paper, the causal relationship between verb nodes in knowledge graph is determined according to the verb nodes and the sentences in which they are located. For the operation of paying attention to the whole sentence, the verb is not studied specifically, which is disadvantageous to the judgment of causality. therefore, this paper proposes an advanced attention method based on attention mechanism to judge the causality of knowledge graph. It can not only focus on the extraction of verb related information, but also learn the whole sentence features. the experiment verifies the method, and the results show that the method in this paper has advantages.

In response to the current challenges of high penetration of renewable energy and excessive complexity of loads, this paper proposes an effective coordinated control strategy by integrating controllable devices with different time response scales in low-voltage distribution networks. Firstly, the controllable voltage regulation devices with different response time scales are analyzed. then, a coordinated control strategy for multiple controllable voltage regulation devices is presented. Finally, MATLAB/SIMULINK is used to simulate and validate the proposed strategy in both an improved IEEE 33-node system and a practical low-voltage distribution system in a city in Zhejiang Province. In the improved IEEE 33-node system, the voltage deviation is reduced to 3%, and the voltage deviation improvement reaches 95.07%. In the practical low-voltage distribution system of the city in Zhejiang Province, the voltage deviation is reduced to 1.7%, and the voltage deviation improvement reaches 99.04%. these results effectively address the issues of voltage violations caused by renewable energy integration and the complexity of loads, providing assurance for the safe and stable operation of low-voltage distribution networks.

Health monitoring and assessment are becoming more difficult tasks for medical professionals and hospitals due to the rising number of patients and the advent of new diseases and symptoms. Indeed, many health-based sensor technologies face significant hurdles due to the analysis of large and heterogeneous data obtained by biological signals, as well as the requirement for patient classification and disease detection. As a result, an approach is developed in this paper to address the problems with physical infrastructure utilizing Hadoop-based systems. the Fuzzy Interface System Algorithm (FISA) is combined with a four-layer model, and data transfers at these layers are accomplished by using comparable health data that has been gathered at different treatment facilities. In this type of technique, an activation function is added in the center, whose performance attempts to minimize the loss of functionalities found in biological signals. A biological signal processing tool is used to simulate the effectiveness of the proposed paradigm. According to the data, FISA operates more effectively in terms of both cost and signal strength.

Cardiovascular diseases, also known as CVDs, currently rank as the primary incidence of mortality. the present approach for identifying illnesses involves the analysis of the Electrocardiogram (ECG), an electronic diagnostic device utilized to capture the rhythm of the heart. Regrettably, the process of seeking out specialists to conduct analysis on a substantial volume of electrocardiogram (ECG) data results in a significant depletion of medical capabilities. Hence, the utilization of deep learning algorithms for the identification of ECG characteristics has progressively gained prominence. Nevertheless, there exist certain limitations associated with these conventional approaches, which necessitate the need for manual characteristic identification, intricate models, and extensive training duration. this study presents a novel and effective approach for categorizing the five different types of heartbeats in the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database. the proposed method involves the utilization of a 16-layer deep one-dimensional convolutional neural network, which exhibits both robustness and efficiency in its classification performance. thus, the designed model is consisting of five-groups, first to fourth groups are the main feature extraction and mapping blocks, while the fifth group is fully connected and classification layers. the findings indicate that the model presented in this study has superior performance in terms of accuracy, precision, and F1-score. the proper classification of medical cases has a significant impact on the conservation of medical resources, hence positively influencing clinical practice. Additionally, the model training phase is characterized by its efficiency, since it does not significantly deplete resources. © 2023 ACM.

Simulation optimization has been the focus of numerous studies in the area of operations research, with many studies integrating optimization algorithms with simulation models to improve decision-making. Although useful, these studies target particular applications and are built for specific problems. As such, their interoperability and reusability remain limited, with the incorporation of new optimization components or simulation models requiring a complete redesign of the entire simulation-optimization system. To enhance system flexibility, a novel, generic framework that can be easily applied to any simulation model and can accompany any optimization algorithm is proposed. Using high-level architecture (HLA), the proposed framework is able to provide a communication channel between a simulation model and an optimization algorithm, facilitating the reuse of system components for different problems. A case study was used to demonstrate the functionality of the proposed framework. Flexibility of the system was demonstrated by combining a simulation model (discrete-event simulation) with an optimization algorithm (genetic algorithm). © 2022 the Authors.
