To automate a manufacturing system for improved efficiency and quality of its output, a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with Internet of things (IoT) need to be employed. At Company X, the furnaces employed for steel processing are not connected to PLC-IoT system, thus making the system less effective. this study employs the agent based modelling and simulation for the investigation of the performance of the PLC-IoT system using both quantitative analysis and a simulation model developed from the Anylogic software. A program placed in a computer control system at 20 °C was used to control the levels of the heat in the furnaces that are responsible for further processing of steel pipes. the results obtained indicated that manually operated furnaces run for approximately 5-8 hours while the ones automated with PLC-IoT system run for approximately 3-6 hours respectively. thus, the integration of PLC-IoT system into the manufacturing system can result in considerable time effectiveness. © 2023 ACM.

To improve the application ability of engineering student, some educational reforms based on CDIO about computer Control Technology course are carried out. the small practice teaching system of computer Control Technology course is designed to be corresponding with the curriculum practice teaching system. A multi-level and multi-ways practice opportunity, including experimental teaching, hobby club, student research topics, and graduation projections, are developed to train the students. these methods are beneficial to help students analyze and solve the engineering question independently. the effect of this teaching reform is testified, and student's application ability is indeed enhanced.

In order to improve the memory capacity of the software and hardware application integration database, it is necessary to optimize the memory sorting. In this paper, database storage space is optimized by semantic ontology feature mapping method, so as to establish the database memory sorting control model;combined with fuzzy degree detection and resource information optimization scheduling method, the memory structure partition design of software and hardware application integration database is carried out, and through the grid partition block storage protocol is design to achieve the optimization of memory sorting of hardware and software application integrated database. the simulation results show that this method has better adaptability for the software and hardware application integration database memory sorting, improves the storage space of the database and reduces the storage cost.

In the maintenance of catenary in electrified railway, it often involves tightening and loosening the catenary bolts. In order to guide the maintenance robot, the bolts need to be detected and positioned. therefore, this paper proposes a catenary bolt detection and localization algorithm based on depth perception and YOLOv7-AM (Attention Mechanism), adding attention mechanism module to the original YOLOv7 model, constructing residual structure, and adding anchor frames to better fit bolts. then the improved network is applied to the images collected by the RGB-D stereo camera, and the three-dimensional coordinates of the center point of the bolt are calculated based on the image processing. the improved model has been slightly improved at mAP@0.5, while precision has been increased from 0.85 to 0.93 and recall has been increased from 0.91 to 0.96. the experimental results show that the improved YOLOv7-AM model improves the detection performance, and the positioning algorithm can also successfully obtain the three-dimensional coordinates of the bolt center. © 2023 ACM.

this paper proposes a predictive method for key thermal-hydraulic parameters of lead-bismuth reactors during accident conditions, based on a long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network. Both single-factor and multi-factor prediction models were established to forecast the maximum temperature of the cladding using data samples from the protected transient of overpower (PTOP) accident condition of the lead-bismuth fast reactor NCLFR-Oil, generated by a system code in the nuclear engineering field. the prediction accuracy and forecast time of these models were compared and analyzed in the study. the results indicate that the multi-factor LSTM neural network model significantly outperforms the single-factor model in terms of prediction performance. To further improve the performance, the optimized single-factor model is proposed that incorporates a grey wolf optimizer-long short-term memory (GWO-LSTM) neural network for automatic hyperparameter optimization. the proposed method reduces the dependence on expert experience and improves the prediction accuracy by 36%. the findings of this study will contribute to the precision and efficiency of predicting key thermal-hydraulic parameters in lead-bismuth fast reactors, and thus enhance their emergency response capabilities. © 2023 ACM.

Currently, research in music informatics focuses extensively on music theory, particularly on the theoretical systems of Western classical music dating back to the 19th century. However, contemporary popular music genres such as pop, rock, and jazz often rely on jazz music theory, which is an evolution from classical music theory. To make music informatics research more practical and relevant to modern music composition, it is essential to explore music analysis based on jazz music theory using computational methods. In this study, we attempt to perform jazz music analysis computationally. Jazz music theory primarily centers around chord progressions. therefore, Tonal Pitch Space (TPS) and its extension to jazz music theory, TPS-ExJ, are valuable tools for our investigation. We implement and modify these computational music theories to calculate the "chord distance,"a metric indicating the naturalness of chord progressions. this allows us to estimate the "key"of a piece of music, a concept determined by human sensibility, using computational techniques. Although the experimental results for key estimation are not particularly high, we believe that the theoretical framework proposed in this study forms a solid foundation for complex chord progressions' key estimation in jazz music. © 2023 ACM.

[Purpose/Significance] Chinese network audiovisual has become the largest Internet application in China, by combing the application and user acceptance of AIGC in the field of network audiovisual, this paper discusses the standardization, rationalization and high-quality development of AIGC deeply embedded in the field of network audiovisual. [Design/Methodology] Based on the research framework of "environment - subject cognition - behavior"of social cognition theory, this paper constructs a model of "network audiovisual environment - self-determination theory-user acceptance"of AIGC, studies the application of AIGC in network audiovisual environment from three aspects of generation carrier, generation technology and generation digital life. According to the self-determination theory of psychology, this paper studies the user's autonomy, competence and relatedness, and then discusses the user's acceptance behavior. [Findings/Conclusion] By analyzing the application process of AIGC to be accepted by users in the field of network audiovisual, it is found that there are problems of data source, use ethics and copyright ownership of AIGC, and threats from data security, digital colonization, and users' ideology. [Originality/Value] the analysis of AIGC is combined with the network audiovisual, which is the largest application environment of the Internet in China, and using communication science and social psychology to carry out cross-research, it brings new creative ideas to the analysis of AIGC and puts forward countermeasures to the potential threats of AIGC. © 2023 ACM.
