To solve the problem of inaccurate estimation of atmospheric light and transmission, this paper proposes a single image dehazing algorithm based on the fusion of black and bright channel. First, finding the block with the largest mean-gradient ratio in the image and the point closest to the maximum pixel value in the block, then taking the pixel value of this point as the atmospheric light. Secondly, the black channel map of haze image is obtained through a minimum filter and a corrosion operation, and the black channel transmission is calculated. then, maximum filtering twice for haze image to obtain the bright channel map, and the transmission of bright channel map is calculated. the transmission of bright and black channel is fused to obtain the total transmission and then it is handled by guidedfiltering. Finally, the dehazing image is restored by the atmospheric scattering model. the experimental results show that our method can not only obtain more accurate value of atmospheric light and transmission, but also get a good dehazing result. the evaluation indicators of dehazing images are better than other two dehazing algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

As to the Raman scattering based distributed optical fiber temperature sensing system, the temperature demodulation algorithm has great influence on the temperature measurement accuracy. So, the data for the temperature demodulation need noise suppression and position correction. In addition, the walk-off effect of Raman Stokes and Raman anti-Stokes light and the fiber reference temperature calibration restrict the long-distance distributed temperature measurement, and corresponding signal processing algorithm should be adopted to solve the above problems. Based on the typical temperature demodulation theory that relies on the Raman Stokes and anti-Stokes data, an optical fiber attenuation compensation scheme for the fiber reference temperature calibration and a signal walk-off effect correction algorithm are proposed and experimentally demonstrated, and the measurement dynamic range obtained is larger than 20dB, and along an optical fiber with length of about 8km, it achieves measurement accuracy of 0.5 °C and 1m spatial resolution. © 2022 IEEE.

Big Data is huge in volume, diverse in information, and growing at flourishing rates. the major distributed file systems in the current market in Big Data Analysis includes Apache Hadoop, Storm, Cassandra, Flink, Cloudera, and many more. Hadoop is an open-source framework divided into Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and Map-Reduce. Hadoop plays a leading role in storing and processing Big Data in contemporary society as it is cost- effective and can manage large volumes of data in low-cost commodity hardware. HDFS is a type of Data Warehouse which is scalable and has fast access to the information. Metadata is the information about the data, such as which block is storing on what datanode, how many replications are that particular block has, and on which datanodes those replications reside. In HDFS, this metadata is stored at a fixed place in namenode, and attackers can access the metadata and modify it without notice. Also, the metadata is mutable, which means that the attacker can erase his presence easily. To resolve this issue, in this paper we have provided a mechanism using blockchain technology that follows a decentralized architecture against the centralized architecture followed by HDFS. Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) is the blockchain proposed to be effective and trusted for such a purpose. HLF is a private blockchain with a distributed immutable ledger. the metadata will be stored in the ledger. If an attacker tries to modify the data, he cannot erase his presence as the ledger is immutable, unlike HDFS. Further, the work proposed in this paper can be extended in real-time HDFS with the secure ledger and multiple nodes. © 2022 IEEE.

DeFi or Decentralized Finance is a new type of financial application that does not require an intermediary. Banks or financial institutions. DeFi is built on Blockchain technology that stores DeFi transaction data or 'decentralized finance' and aims to create financial services that are open to all. the DeFi platform can operate by itself without any control and is called 'Smart Contract.' It is widely used as an infrastructure for developers. Decentralized Applications (Dapps), which is the purpose of this research aims to study the operating system and capabilities of each platform. the creators of Etheruem, in addition to Vitalik Bulletin, are also other founding members who co-founded Ethereum, some of them have branched out to create their own networks, such as Gavin Woord who spun off to create Polkadot (DOT), or Charles Hoskinson who spun out to create Cardano (ADA), and Fabian Vogelsteller who spun out to create Lukso (LYXe), etc. All three networks are proof-of-stake blockchains, unlike Ethereum, which is Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake system which can do higher processing speed Proof-of-Work. It saves a lot of energy, and instead of having each computer compete with each other to solve the equation in exchange for permission to verify transactions, Proof-of-Stake. the reviewers are randomly selected by the system with higher processing speeds than Ethereum. these networks are called third-generation Blockchain Ethereum. It is about to have a major update called 'Ethereum 2.0' that will change the network to Proof-of-Stake including modifying various systems to make it easier to use for the general public. this update is expected to take effect in the year 2022. © 2022 IEEE.

Maritime communication system is an important part of real-time battlefield information transmission. In this paper, adaptive smart antenna beamforming technology is applied to maritime communication, and a one-dimensional antenna array structure model and signal model are proposed. At the same time, the adaptive beamforming algorithm in smart antenna is studied. Since the classical LMS beamforming algorithm has slow convergence speed and poor adaptability, genetic algorithm is applied to array antenna beamforming in this paper. And the traditional genetic algorithm is optimized and improved in initial population planning and crossover operation. the simulation results show that compared with LMS algorithm, traditional genetic algorithm and the optimized genetic algorithm has better convergence effect of mean square error, more accurate suppression of interference signal by beamforming, better practicability and development potential. © 2022 IEEE.

As AI technology advances and its use increases, efforts to incorporate machine learning for malware detection are increasing. However, for malware learning, a standardized data set is required. Because malware is unstructured data, it cannot be directly learned. In order to solve this problem, many studies have attempted to convert unstructured data into structured data. In this study, the features and limitations of each were analyzed by investigating and analyzing the method of converting unstructured data proposed in each study into structured data. As a result, most of the data conversion techniques suggest conversion mechanisms, but the scope of each technique has not been determined. the resulting data set is not suitable for use as training data because it has infinite properties. © 2022 IEEE.

Distracted driving accounts for a large number of road accidents. After drunk driving, drowsiness and distraction is the leading cause for accidents. the motive of this paper is to contribute to a system which uses computer vision techniques of detecting drowsiness in drivers in automobile vehicles to alerting them when they show signs of tiredness for them to avoid falling asleep resulting in prevention of a possible road accident. Facial features are aimed to be monitored for signs of drowsiness, in particular, shutting of eyes. this paper aims draw comparison between different classification models to find the best performing models which can detect drowsy and alert states in humans. Classifiers Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes, KNN, MLP, Decision Tree, Random Forest, CNN and XGBoost algorithms to classify the test data into either drowsy or normal. the data is split into 20 by 80 ratio where 20% of the dataset is used for testing and the rest 80% for training. Each of the classifiers are then compared for their accuracy in classifying the dataset and the classifier providing us with the highest accuracy is declared. © 2022 IEEE.

this paper defines an approach to implement an output length controllable text summarizer that would help readers and learners understand large chunks of text quickly and efficiently and develop a tool to do the same. It would help and play an important role in revolutionizing today's education. the approach defined here is a way to better leverage the current state-of-the-art (SOTA) transformer-based models to help achieve length-controllable text summaries from text corpora. the paper introduces an algorithm that, when used in unison with existing transformer-based models, enables the user to specify the required extent of summarization to generate the output summary of the desired length. the approach has been tested on a widely accepted text summarization dataset and gives acceptable ROUGE(45.31) and METEOR(22.16) scores when compared to current state-of-the-art models. © 2022 IEEE.

Diabetic Retinopathy ailment is found in human beings causes of high glucose level that leads to vision loss with time. A prior identification of DR symptoms helps to determine the reasons and grading of diabetic retinopathy severity to provide the proper treatment to diabetic patient. Ophthalmologists checkout cotton wool spots, exudates, retinal swellings, micro-aneurysms etc in fundus images. the main work of this paper is to identify these aforementioned lesions, on fundus image dataset having three hundred thirty two images using cornea pannus based augmentation technique. In the medical image processing, Deep learning based classifier model gains better identification of these lesions. VGG-NIN model uses non-linear behavior of fundus images and grades the severity of fundus images into five classes. the performance of proposed model is achieved using parameters accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. the results prove that proposed diabetic retinopathy grading system acquire 91.25% accuracy, 92.56% sensitivity and 94.87% specificity using 10-cross fold validation method than KNN, CNN, SVM classifier model. © 2022 IEEE.

Crowdsourced testing is a useful way to quickly identify defects and save time. However, the quality of crowdsourced testing reports varies widely since most testers are non-professionals. Effectively reviewing these test reports has become an urgent issue. To address this issue, researchers have proposed various techniques for classifying, clustering, and prioritising reports. these methods often directly extract text-related features without further understanding the textual content. By delving deeper into the textual information of crowdsourced testing reports, sentences within the text descriptions can be categorised into two types: defect descriptions and step descriptions. this paper presents a prioritisation method (TPLSI) for crowdsourced testing reports to enhance the efficiency of report review. Initially, a pre-trained LSTM is employed to classify the textual part of the crowdsourced testing reports. Subsequently, extract textual and visual features from the reports, merge these features, and use clustering techniques to group similar reports. Finally, the inspection sequence of the testing reports is determined by considering the severity of the issues reported in the crowdsourced testing reports. Furthermore, the experiments in this study were conducted on industrial crowdsourced projects from six different domains. the results indicate that the proposed method is capable of detecting errors more quickly within a limited timeframe. © 2024 SPIE.
