Deepfakes have been a hot topic in the field of deep learning. It is typically used to alter the face or body of a person to create a fake image or video. With the rise of internet, the number of fake content especially deepfakes have increased exponentially. there have already been cases of these causing conflict and hatred among people. To keep this misinformation regulated, there needs to be a way to distinguish deepfakes from the rest. We therefore have come up with a model to classify deepfakes from pristine, accurately and quickly, so that anyone can upload an image/video to know whether it is genuine or not. the parameters taken into consideration for classifying deepfakes are face, audio and body language. the model for face consists of MMOD-CNN Face detector for pre-processing the input, which is then passed on to a Temporal Convolutional Network (TCN) to predict. For audio deepfake detection, audio converted into a spectrogram is passed to a ResNet50V2 followed by a TCN to predict. the Body Language model uses a vanilla TCN to predict if its a deepfake video or not. © 2022 IEEE.

In an era dominated by digital information and rapid technological advancements, the spread of false information, commonly known as fake news, has emerged as a significant problem. this study offers a comprehensive technique for identifying false news, including dataset collection, text preprocessing, feature extraction, and Machine Learning algorithms. the dataset used includes both true and fake news stories that were gathered from reliable sources. Text preprocessing techniques such as Stop word removal, parts of speech tagging, Tokenization, Stemming, and Lemmatization are used to clean and prepare the textual data. In this study Feature extraction techniques like TF-IDF Vectorization and Bag of Words are used to transform the text into a numerical representation. the paper evaluates the performance of ML classifiers, including Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes, Gradient Boosting, and Random Forest, in detecting fake news. Notably, applying TF-IDF Vectorization to Decision Tree and Gradient Boosting classifiers resulted in high accuracy ratings. Similarly, when combined with Bag of Words, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Gradient Boosting all achieved outstanding accuracy scores. © 2023 IEEE.

Golay complementary waveforms have been validated effective to obtain desired range sidelobe suppression performance around zero-Doppler band, at the cost of Doppler resolution, through several kinds of weighting design schemes at the receiver during the matched filtering. However, only a few literatures concern about the corresponding suppression effect of the weights on complementary sets. Based on this motivation, an echo weighting design method for complementary sets is introduced in this paper, as a compared approach to the widely researched weights-Binominal Design (BD) employed on the Golay. Better sidelobe suppression performance as well as an enhanced Doppler resolution is brought by our method, by sacrificing acceptable processing time and range sidelobe blanking level in the blanking area. © 2022 IEEE.

the treatment of tinnitus is a long-term process. Tinnitus sound therapy as an effective and non-intervention treatment has been widely used in clinical therapy. the music used in classical tinnitus treatments such as tinnitus masking therapy, tinnitus retraining therapy and its derivative therapies, has disadvantages like hearing unfriendly, ignoring personal preference or mismatching tinnitus frequency band and play repeatedly. therefore, this paper proposes a new method of composing music with features of hearing friendly, playing un-repeatedly and matching personal preference of the patient for tinnitus sound therapy based on deep learning methods. Also, using MIDI technology to replace instruments covering different frequency bands to match tinnitus frequency more effective. We use two neural networks based on LSTM and Transformer structure to generate MIDI music. then, analyze the results through 1/f fluctuation, fractal features and with tinnitus model based on LMS algorithm. Results indicate that the music generated by neural network has significant effect on tinnitus suppression. thus, it might provide a new method for composing music for tinnitus sound therapy. © 2022 IEEE.

Ehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) as the core of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) enables transfer of data which consists of private information of VANETs users such as exact location among the entities of ITS. therefore, authentication of users is mandatory to restrict access to this information by any malicious users or attackers. However, the available anonymous authentication schemes in VANET have some drawbacks in security and efficiency. Hence, we propose a new anonymous authentication scheme based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). To begin with, our scheme constructs the signature of timestamp using the PKI as authentication proof to improve security. Meanwhile, anonymous authentication is strongly guaranteed in our scheme. Further, we establish secure session keys and provide the method of revealing malicious nodes. Security analysis and performance evaluation indicate that our proposed scheme has superiority in both security and efficiency, and is more suitable for wireless networks. © 2022 IEEE.

A dynamic gesture is one in which the hand is moved while attempting to transmit a letter, symbol, or phrase. these motions are distinguished by projected hand movement trajectories. Due to their intrinsic complexity, automated identification of these air trajectories is still a work in progress. From single character trajectory recognition through continuous word trajectory identification, research has been done in this field. In an effort to replicate the natural pen-and-paper writing process, in-air writing devices have been developed. On the other hand, algorithms that assume the presence of undesired, ligature strokes inside the genuine strokes have been recorded. the main difficulties range from acquiring trajectories to identifying acceptable gesture bounds. this document provides a thorough review of the many methods used to create Mid-Air Writing (MAW) systems. the majority of the systems in question, according to a thorough reading of the literature, are variants of the Hidden Markov Model (HMM), Dynamic Time Warping (DTW), and Longest Common Subsequence (LCS) strategies. However, this study also discusses a few unique MAW system-targeting strategies. © 2023 IEEE.

Cocoa, scientifically known as theobroma cacao, is a tree-like crop that has its origins in South America. Cocoa is a significant plantation product that serves as a crucial source of revenue and foreign currency. However, cocoa production had a sustained decrease from 2012 to 2017. the cocoa production in 2012 amounted to 740,500 tons. However, in 2019, the quantity is limited to just 659,776 tons. Pests and illnesses may lead to a decline in cocoa production. Given the advancements in technology, it is feasible to develop a system capable of categorizing diseases detected in cocoa pods. this study employs the Random Forest algorithm for the classification procedure. Prior to the classification procedure, image processing is performed using the grayscale approach, followed by image segmentation using the inverse binary threshold and closure techniques. In addition, the color extraction is performed using the hue saturation value (HSV) approach, while the texture extraction is done using the gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) method. the texture extraction process incorporates dissimilarity, contrast, correlation, ASM (Angular Second Moment), energy, and homogeneity as key properties. the cocoa diseases include pods rot, anthracnose, helopeltis, and borer. there are a total of 360 data points, which are split into 80% training data and 20% testing data. According to the test findings in this research, the system can accurately diagnose the different kinds of diseases with a precision of 94.4%. © 2023 IEEE.

In this era, especially in the pandemic, people and businesses have shifted towards digital platforms from analog ones. these changes have resulted in a blast of information in the marketing sector that needs to be categorized and summarized. Feedback has a significant role in drawing the public towards standard and high-quality products. However, due to the abundance of information, most businesses can't quickly determine the market value of their products. this is the point where sentimental analysis comes in, which helps in classifying positive and negative feedback. In this paper, the deep learning methods based on CNN and LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) are proposed and trained with the data set from IMDb. In addition, the well-known algorithms of machine learning methods are reviewed based on sentiment analysis. the majority of traditional methods are accurate within a margin of error of 75 to 86 percent. In our experiment, LSTM and CNN showed almost the same accuracy of 89% while the proposed one obtained 92% accuracy. It is evident from the result that, the proposed fusion model outperforms the conventional machine learning algorithms. By deploying the methods with better accuracy, the reviews could be categorized easily and the businesses could stay one step ahead of their competitors. © 2022 IEEE.

As a technology of human action recording, motion capture provides a new idea for the digital study of Dunhuang dance. this paper uses motion capture technology to collect the dance movements of Dunhuang dancers, optimizes and processes the movement data, forms the three-dimensional data of Dunhuang dance;uses the movement data of Dunhuang dance to create a digital file of Dunhuang dance to store the data of Dunhuang dance;builds a virtual 3D character, binds the 3D data of Dunhuang dance with the virtual character to form a 3D animated character image;creates a three-dimensional virtual scene through Unity 3D, and displays the virtual role dance performance in the virtual scene, so that people can get an immersive viewing experience and realize the three-dimensional digitization of Dunhuang dance. through the study of the digital method of Dunhuang dance, it can provide reference for the dissemination and development of other dances. © 2022 IEEE.

the traditional edge computing offloading strategy is difficult to achieve the long-term efficiency of the system, and the offload strategy based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) is easy to converge to the local optimal solution. In order to solve the above problems, an edge computing offloading strategy based on DRL with entropy is designed. the information entropy is added to the value and strategy network update function. So, the agent needs to maximize the entropy While ensuring the maximum reward, which will improve the exploration ability of the agent. the results of the experiment show that the proposed offloading strategy TO-DRL has increased comprehensive efficiency by 12.09% compared with the EOC and increased by 3.93% compared with the TO-DRL without entropy, which effectively balances the delay and energy consumption of the system. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.
