Wireless fidelity technology enables communication without the use of wires or connections between two or more people across large distances. Wireless technology encompasses communications that utilize both radio frequencies (RF) and infrared waves. the origin of wireless technology can be traced back to the invention of electromagnetic waves by the German physicist, geophysicist, and engineer, Heinrich Hertz. In the late nineteenth century, the commercial wireless telegraph service was established by the Italian entrepreneur Gugliello Marconi, more than half a century after the invention of the first commercially available wired telegraph in 1832. In the early twentieth century, Marconi was one of the pioneers of radio communications, transmitting radio signals to mobile receivers on ships. Wireless has always been more advanced than wired technology, and it's usually more expensive too, but it's also given us the added benefit of being able to move around and get and send *** this project, we'll be using MATLAB software to design and test the full model. We'll also be looking at wireless bridge health monitoring systems. ZigBee acts as the wireless network for short-range IEEE 802.11 communication between sensors in the bridge. © 2024 IEEE.

Railway intrusion detection using convolutional neural networks has significant results, but it requires a large amount of data and arithmetic power to train and deploy neural network models, and it is still a challenge to improve detection accuracy under limited computational resources. Based on this problem, this paper proposes a lightweight railway foreign object intrusion detection algorithm: GRDNet, which firstly adopts a lightweight backbone network GhostNetV2, and makes use of the decoupled fully connected attention mechanism to aggregate local and long-distance information, which significantly reduces the number of parameters and computation while maintaining the detection performance. Next, a deep feature extractor, RSPPFCSPC, is proposed to reduce the computational effort by decreasing the number of channels in the feature map while maintaining the diversity and effectiveness of the features. Finally, a knowledge distillation algorithm is used to improve the accuracy of foreign object localization and classification and reduce the leakage rate of the model. Experiments show that the proposed method is superior to the state-of-the-art work of each comparison. © 2024 IEEE.

this research study shows how IoT technology can screen local meteorological conditions and share that information globally. Weather shifts cause extreme rainfall. A flood monitoring system uses NODEMCU ES P8266 to store and retrieve data and inform authorities of rising water levels using ultrasonic sensors and LEDs. S oil moisture affects crop growth. Its microprocessor and sensor improve soil moisture monitoring. An earthquake warning system can detect the slightest vibration before a major earthquake. Due to industry and autos, air quality is getting worse. Air quality and chemical content must be assessed using IoT since it has changed so much. Connected devices and enhanced sensor technology have transformed traditional environmental monitoring into a cutting-edge S mart Environment Monitoring S ystem (S EMS). this paper evaluates S EM aids and research investigations, including air quality, weather, soil, and seismic monitoring systems. S EM applications segment the examination, with a deeper dig into each section's sensors. Discussion findings and analyzed research patterns form the basis for the in-depth analysis that follows the comprehensive review and suggests key S EMS research implications. the authors studied how IoT, machine learning, and other sensor-based advancements have made environmental monitoring smart. © 2023 IEEE.

the electrical method's power quality is critical for businesses, factories, and residential applications. Users and utilities have been more concerned about the quality of power as the demand for high-quality electrical power has increased, as has the number of distortion loads. In this paper proposed the Decoupled Double Synchronous Reference Frame (DDSRF) model for the power quality in unified power flow controller (UPFC) applications also the FACTs parts that controls the communication line's active and reactive power flow. this article attempted to improve power superiority by using a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) and boost converter with solar system founded UPFC to regulator both active and reactive supremacy movement, adjust power issue, control line power, and increase passing steadiness. the DDSRF generates an annular harmonic that is diametrically opposed to the load harmonic. the frequency is then injected into electricity systems, reducing the influence of harmonics. the thD value comparison has the value of 2.2% using DDSRF theory. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to improve the quality of massive online open courses (MOOCs), we proposed an evaluation method applying a triangular fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP)-based comprehensive evaluation model. In the model, FAHP was used to determine the weights of indexes at each level, which proved effective in avoiding the fuzziness of expert evaluations in index assignment. In addition, we also illustrated how to construct the evaluation model, taking maritime-related vocational education as an example. the research results showed that the proposed model is scientific and rational, and can be well-applied to the reality. © 2022 IEEE.

this paper investigates the performance of different polygon geometries of loop frequency selective surfaces (FSS). Various polygon shapes such as triangle, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon, decagon, and circle of FSS, are analyzed and compared using results obtained from software-based simulation. It is observed that the bandwidth of band-stop response and band-stop frequency improves as the number of edges increases in the polygon. the paper exhibits that the bandwidth of the band stop response can be tuned by choosing a suitable polygonal design of FSS. © 2022 IEEE.

IGBT is a class of power semiconductor device. Due to the limitations of the manufacturing process, the performance of IGBTs is bound to be inconsistent. Further, inconsistent performance will lead to load imbalance when IGBTs are operated in parallel, reducing their reliability. However, the complexity of performance characterization makes it difficult to measure performance consistency for IGBTs. In this paper, the performance of IGBTs is considered comprehensively and the concept of IGBT characteristic function is proposed. On this basis, the performance consistency metric for IGBTs is established. In the application case, performance tests and performance consistency evaluations are carried out on two types of IGBT products. © 2023 IEEE.

the escalating environmental impact of Information and Communication technology (ICT) has raised concerns about its substantial carbon footprint. Green computing, a concept that focuses on minimizing the environmental impact of computing and IT infrastructure, has emerged as a promising approach to address this issue. this research paper investigates the potential of integrating green computing practices to curtail the environmental ramifications of ICT operations. Understanding the fundamental forces behind the adoption of green computing in business, industry, and government is crucial since ICTs are so critical to technical innovation, the economy, and environmental protection. By examining the principles and methodologies of green computing, this study aims to delineate its role in reducing energy consumption, minimizing e-waste, and fostering eco-friendly practices within the realm of information technology. Examined are the major implementation challenges and the global adoption of green computing. through a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies, this research assesses the efficacy of green computing strategies in mitigating the carbon footprint of ICT infrastructures. Furthermore, it evaluates the economic viability and long-term sustainability implications for businesses and society at large. ICT would be a bigger enhancer of productivity and utility with a global carbon limitation, offering opportunity for the industry to be financially successful as a crucial component of a global net zero society. the paper concludes by proposing recommendations for the seamless integration of green computing into ICT ecosystems, emphasizing the pivotal role of stakeholders in fostering a more sustainable digital landscape while simultaneously reducing carbon emissions. © 2024 IEEE.

Global warming is one of the major issues for decades. Implementation of integrated solution to get sustainable control system has significant challenges. Acceptance of the key precautions and maintenance of sustainability became a bottleneck. the consequence of human social activities increases the consumption of fossil fuels as power resources which indirectly increased the concentration of greenhouse gases and water vapor, in the environment. this causes the earth's average surface temperature to increase. Water vapor is responsible for two-thirds of this issue;however, C02 is proven to be the key factor of global warming. the global temperature could have increased to 3.8 o C in case C02 concentration was doubled. the trend and association between rising temperatures and C02 emissions are shown in this work, along with an explanation of the many methods behind ideal mitigation. One of the goals of this research is to identify the issue area and integrate the climatic data. this will assist in obtaining a dependable control system capable of addressing global warming concerns. this paper outlines how data engineering and analytics may be used to regulate global warming and provides an architecture for the Green Warming Model (GWD). therefore, the primary contribution of this study effort is environment preservation using data engineering and machine learning (ML). © 2023 IEEE.

Cold data contributes a large portion of the big data today and is usually stored in secondary storage. Various sketch data structures are implemented to represent the stored elements and provide constant-time membership queries. Considering the large volume and infrequent access of cold data, we envision three rationales of cold data representation: 1) parallelized insertion, 2) accurate representation, and 3) constant-time query/deletion. the existing sketches, however, fail to achieve these rationales simultaneously. To this end, we propose a novel sketch named Parallelized cuckoo Filter (PCF) in this paper. PCF divides the standard cuckoo filter into multiple homogenous segments. An additional hash function is introduced to assign an element to a segment. the element will be inserted into the selected segment. With such a design, element insertions in PCF can be naturally parallelized. Besides, as a variant of the cuckoo filter, PCF naturally realizes the accurate representation and constant-time query/deletion requirements. Comprehensive experiments further indicate that PCF achieves the three rationales simultaneously. © 2021 IEEE.
