this document aims to reaffirm the superiority of quantum-inspired evolutionary algorithms(QiEA) over conventional algorithms. the study proposes a novel QiEA with sorted mutation and greedy local restart (SMGLR) algorithm for finding the optimal coefficients of a filter using a multi-objective optimization function. PCG signals sourced from the Washington Hearts Sounds and Murmurs database and the Michigan Heart Sounds database were filtered using this enhanced filter. Comparative analysis was conducted against the proposed algorithm and established techniques such as Wavelet-based denoising and Variable Mode decomposition. Results: the results revealed that the filter designed using QiEA-SMGLR exhibited superior performance in terms of improved Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) in both comparisons. A comprehensive statistical analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of close to 0.99 indicating strong signal integrity. the QiEA-SMGLR algorithm outperforms Wavelet-based and VMD methods by improving the output SNR by 20% to 100%. this variance can be attributed to the intensity of noise introduced. the result reaffirms the hypothesis that the QiEA-SMGLR algorithm is superior in improving signal clarity and precision over traditionally popular techniques. the improvement in the analysis of Phonocardiogram (PCG) signals could help improve patient diagnostics, amidst the fight against global cardiac problems. © 2024 IEEE.

IGBT is a class of power semiconductor device. Due to the limitations of the manufacturing process, the performance of IGBTs is bound to be inconsistent. Further, inconsistent performance will lead to load imbalance when IGBTs are operated in parallel, reducing their reliability. However, the complexity of performance characterization makes it difficult to measure performance consistency for IGBTs. In this paper, the performance of IGBTs is considered comprehensively and the concept of IGBT characteristic function is proposed. On this basis, the performance consistency metric for IGBTs is established. In the application case, performance tests and performance consistency evaluations are carried out on two types of IGBT products. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to predict Myers-Briggs personality types from text input, this research article compares the abilities of Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), Naive Bayes, k-Nearest Neighbours (KNN), and Logistic Regression models. the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI) captures distinctive patterns of behaviour, cognition, and preferences of human personality. It divides people into one of sixteen personality types. this study assesses the accuracy, support, recall, precision, and F1-score for the chosen models using a dataset made up of text inputs and matching Myers-Briggs types. the project attempts to determine the most successful model among the evaluated ways for precisely predicting Myers-Briggs personality types through extensive experimentation and review. the findings of this study have applications in building accurate and reliable models for personality prediction utilizing natural language processing methods. © 2023 IEEE.

the escalating environmental impact of Information and Communication technology (ICT) has raised concerns about its substantial carbon footprint. Green computing, a concept that focuses on minimizing the environmental impact of computing and IT infrastructure, has emerged as a promising approach to address this issue. this research paper investigates the potential of integrating green computing practices to curtail the environmental ramifications of ICT operations. Understanding the fundamental forces behind the adoption of green computing in business, industry, and government is crucial since ICTs are so critical to technical innovation, the economy, and environmental protection. By examining the principles and methodologies of green computing, this study aims to delineate its role in reducing energy consumption, minimizing e-waste, and fostering eco-friendly practices within the realm of information technology. Examined are the major implementation challenges and the global adoption of green computing. through a comprehensive review of existing literature and case studies, this research assesses the efficacy of green computing strategies in mitigating the carbon footprint of ICT infrastructures. Furthermore, it evaluates the economic viability and long-term sustainability implications for businesses and society at large. ICT would be a bigger enhancer of productivity and utility with a global carbon limitation, offering opportunity for the industry to be financially successful as a crucial component of a global net zero society. the paper concludes by proposing recommendations for the seamless integration of green computing into ICT ecosystems, emphasizing the pivotal role of stakeholders in fostering a more sustainable digital landscape while simultaneously reducing carbon emissions. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rise of high-performance computing, the precision requirements for numerical calculations are getting higher and higher. Rounding errors cannot be avoided in floating point operations, and therefore the calculation result can be inaccurate and even incorrect when rounding errors are not taken into account. We study and analyze in detail the Differential Quotient Difference with Shifts (DQDS) algorithm, used in algorithms to calculate the eigenvalues of tridiagonal matrices, and propose a novel High Precision DQDS algorithm (HDQDS) based on Error Free Transformations (EFT). We use EFT to reduce the accumulation of errors and obtain a much more precise algorithm. the relative error of the HDQDS algorithm remains constant at the machine precision error level, while the relative error of the DQDS algorithm has fluctuations in the same experimental scenario. Numerical experiments show that the proposed high-precision HDQDS algorithm allows for higher precision and more stability than the original alagrithm. © 2021 IEEE.

In heterogeneous SDN networks, controllers deploying different protocols need to cooperate with each other and establish a global network view that can be passed to the network applications for unified management and end-to-end decision-making. Unfortunately, there is no standard northbound interface protocol to integrate heterogeneous SDN controllers. To address this issue in this paper, we propose an approach to find the mapping among controller ontologies in the SDN network with heterogeneous controllers in this paper. We regard these controller ontologies as a solution for discovering similar elements between local ontologies and global ontology. By mapping controller ontologies in the heterogeneous network together, we can form the complete network view to achieve centralized management. the idea behind the approach is to use ontology to represent the conceptual data of various heterogeneous controllers and then map similar semantic data together to form a consistent, global network knowledge. Evaluation results show that our approach has better accuracy than other algorithms and has an acceptable execution time. © 2021 IEEE.

this paper work e xplains the feasibility of the textile denim material being used as a substrate in Body Area Wireless Sensor Networks (BA-WSN) for the enhancement of data rate. To get a high data rate in sensor networks, the bandwidth of the antenna needed to be increased. Moreover, the substrates which are used in the are expensive. Hence low-cost Fire Retardant FR4 is used. A simple 55 x 50 mm2 monopole Logo antenna was developed for the enhancement of bandwidth using shaped loop shaped defective ground structure at Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) band 2.45GHz using Computer Simulation technology (CST) 2014 version software. the bandwidth of the antenna is responsible for the data rate of trans mission and hence the main objective the work is focused on the wider bandwidth operation at WLAN frequency. A performance study was done with and without case of loop shaped defecti ve structure. thus, comparing the conventional FR4 board, defective FR4 board yield large bandwidth for Wireless Sensor Networks with high data rate. © 2023 IEEE.

Solar power is considered a promising energy option to meet the growing global demand for energy and to achieve a shift to clean energy. Compared to other renewable energy sources such as radio frequency (RF), solar energy is easily accessible and has a low environmental impact. However, the surface temperature of photovoltaic (PV) panels significantly affects their power output and performance. In this project, a hybrid cooling system was designed and implemented, combining air and water cooling mechanisms. the microcontroller-based control system enables solar panels to generate more energy compared to radio energy harvesting. Air cooling is activated at 35°C, while the water pump operates above 45°C. the results revealed that the peak voltage increased from 15.08V to 16.95V, with a temperature reduction of up to 22°C. the cooled PV system achieved a maximum output power of 9.49W at midday. Moreover, this designed cooling system improved electrical efficiency by 28.37%. the automatic cooling technique effectively reduces cell temperature, enhancing electrical output and overall efficiency for sustainable green technology. © 2024 IEEE.

Communication is essential for people to interact with one another. Sadly, not everyone can communicate verbally, so they resort to Sign language to engage in conversations and express themselves using various hand gestures. the deaf community mostly uses American sign language (ASL). However, only a few people can interpret ASL, and various translation systems have been developed. We aim to implement various Deep Learning techniques to translate ASL and read the sign out loud to find and develop an efficient and accurate sign language translation to make communication more accessible for hard-of-hearing individuals by building Recurrent Neural Networks and Convolution Neural Networks. On evaluating both these models highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. this is conducted based on various hyperparameters such as the Number of Epochs, Accuracy, Time, and Space Complexity. the study's findings offer exciting prospects for improving hand gesture recognition technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to locate and identify the isolating switch in complex scenes, this paper studies a method of isolating switch state recognition based on dual network, which is divided into C-R2CNN isolating switch detection and SqueezeNet state recognition. Firstly, C-R2CNN is a rotating box detection network based on R2CNN, in which the channel attention module is utilized to effectively eliminate noise interference and extract features, improve the detection accuracy of the model, and realize the precise positioning of the isolating switch. Secondly, the isolating switch detection network is used to locate the isolating switch sub-region in the original image, then the target sub-region is cut out and sent to SqueezeNet network for state recognition, thus realizing the state recognition of the isolation switch. Experiments show that the method proposed in this paper can effectively identify the state of isolating switch. © 2022 IEEE.
