Digital photography has made great strides in showing colour and texture along with specific material details. Standard approaches usually do not attain realistic representations. the Multifaceted Realism Synthesis presented in this document resolves these problems and outshines classic strategies in accuracy and realism. the MRS framework incorporates three core algorithms: With this approach we can obtain more consistent and accurate colour reproduction using the Colour Harmonisation Algorithm. the Physically Informed Material Rendering and Typical Texture Synthesis (ATS) generate more natural textures that adapt to local details rather than using median filtering or morphological methods. the MRS approach adjusts materials appearance texture and colour to deliver superior realism adaptability and precision beating current methods. this new approach can change digital photography across different areas such as entertainment and healthcare. the technique of MRS has made a substantial improvement in the quest for hyper-real visuals in digital photography. © 2024 IEEE.

the city's development significantly depends on the public transportation infrastructure. It significantly affects every aspect of society, including the economy. Despite designing specific routes for them, many public transit systems nevertheless confront a significant traffic issue. these routes are used by a lot of private vehicles, which causes traffic issues. As a result, there are delays, which eventually render the BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) system inefficient. there have been multiple attempts by city cooperations in order to make boom barriers to stop the entry of unwanted vehicles in the BRT route. Yet they are ineffective, making room for critics. this research work intends to provide a bus detection and vehicle detection system that aids to identify, detect, for public transportation buses and ambulances. Image classification plays a very important role in this application as several of the feature detection and image pre-processing techniques like BRISK and SIFT, ORB and Histogram Equalization were used to improve the efficiency of the application. the proposed system shows an accuracy of 86% for detecting the bus and ambulances and accordingly operating the barrier in the BRTS corridor. © 2023 IEEE.

Data mining based on Twitter data can be used to analyses and draw meaningful information from the tweets. In order to convey your innermost thoughts and feelings about life, you might use the sentiment keyword. Sentiment analysis is carried out to provide insights from online conversations about a company's products, brands, and services. Identifying and classifying emotions in written texts is possible using advanced machine learning algorithms. Sentiment analysis has its impact in the field of the medical industry. Based on the tweets, the disease can be categorized and predicted. People can be made aware of the risk, and it provides an opportunity for early diagnosis. this article discusses several machine learning and natural language processing algorithms in the field of sentiment analysis based on Twitter tweets. the various existing systems are discussed in detail and their impact on detection and prediction of diabetes is highlighted. © 2022 IEEE.

As computer vision systems have improved, mostly through machine vision progress, people's views on pictures have changed a lot. In response to this change, the Dynamic AdaptNet project is making an advanced system for analysing pictures that uses data from the surroundings. the manuscripts goals is to offer a full range of features, such as dynamic convolutional neural networks (CNNs), adaptable segmentation, and temporal attention. Standard, Baseline, Enhanced, Advanced, Optimised, and Specialised are some of the choices for the system. Standard is the easiest and most important to use. this study compares and contrasts different methods by checking how well they work based on several factors, such as success, adaptability, and resilience. Independent reviews and comparisons show that Dynamic AdaptNet is a complete tool for real-time picture analysis. this shows that it has the ability to make computer vision better. © 2024 IEEE.

Traffic signal control is the most basic and pivotal task in road traffic problems. the optimization of traffic signal control is for improving vehicle passing efficiency of each intersection in order to improve the traffic capacity of the whole road net. Currently, traditional traffic control methods are not able to satisfy the needs of continuously expanding traffic conditions. thus, with ideal self-adapting and exploring abilities, deep reinforcement learning methods are widely applied in model traffic signal control. However, due to the problems of overestimation and instability during the learning process of Deep Q-learning (DQN), we came up with a model based on Double-Dueling-Deep Q Network (3DQN). this model combines dueling network, double learning method and target network by natural DQN to relieve overestimation and improve data using efficiency. According to the experimental results, compared with traditional traffic control and DQN, the model of 3DQN has better outcomes in traffic signal control. © 2021 IEEE.

this paper presents an integrated data model based on IFC and SensorML to facilitate the post-COVID facilities management to ensure indoor thermal comfort and human health. this paper identifies the information with the reference to different industry guidelines, including WELL building Standard and Singapore BCA post-COVID regulations, and extracts necessary information for sensor description and identification. New parameters in the BIM environment are recommended in this paper to support model-based data exchange in the future. the information required is clarified with a process map depicting the information flow, and IFC MVD to provide a structured overview of the sensor requirement. Data mapping between IFC and SensorML is performed, the result indicates that missing entities and attributes can be proposed to enrich the sensor description in the IFC schema. the integration of SensorML and IFC provides better data interoperability between both schemas, improving information standardization and openness of data exchange in sensor description. © 2021 IEEE.

In power systems, the safe and stable operation of transmission lines is of paramount importance. Insulators, as the critical component of transmission lines, play a direct role in ensuring the reliability of the power grid. As the scale of transmission lines continues to expand and the operating environment becomes increasingly complex, traditional manual inspection methods can no longer meet the requirement for high efficiency and high precision monitoring. therefore, automated and intelligent monitoring technologies have become an important development direction for power system maintenance. To achieve a high-precision, lightweight segmentation network, improvements to the YOLOv8 network are proposed. First, a backbone network named SubNet is proposed, which has a smaller parameter count and stable accuracy. Second, the Bottleneck in the C2f module of the neck network is optimized to a star connection module (Star_block), constructing the C2f_Star structure to reduce model complexity and minimize redundant calculations. Finally, the segmentation head module is improved by introducing a new segmentation head (LSCD-Segment), further reducing the number of model parameters and enhancing detection performance. Experiments show that, compared to traditional object detection models, there is a 50% reduction in parameter count while maintaining relatively stable accuracy. this allows for better detection performance with fewer parameters, making it more suitable for deployment on mobile devices and promoting the development of drone power inspection technology. © 2024 IEEE.

Traditional manually designed dispatching rules (DRs) cannot cope with the variety and rapid changes in production environments due to their inflexibility and lack of adaptability. Meanwhile, the development in manufacturing intelligence and informatization allows for storing a vast amount of scheduling data during production. Consequently, a novel approach emerges in constructing scheduling models and decision-making strategies based on historical data. Following this idea, this paper proposes a dual-driven dynamic scheduling approach for complex flexible manufacturing job shops, utilizing a combination of manually designed DRs and backpropagation neural network (BPNN) technology. Specifically, six different production scenarios are designed to optimize different objectives, simulating the actual complex manufacturing environment. then, a real-time scheduling mapping network model is developed with the production states as input and selected DRs as output by training the BPNN. the results demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method in resolving dynamic scheduling issues of complex flexible manufacturing job shops, surpassing traditional manual DRs. © 2024 IEEE.

Medical question answering system is one of the significant measures to effectively solve common sense queries related to diseases. Aiming at the loose structure, low efficiency, and weak linking of domain knowledge in the current traditional medical model field, this paper constructs a Medical question answering system based on knowledge graph(KG). We achieve the goal of improving classification performance through three aspects, including: (i) creation of a medical KG by building a dictionary and generating entities and relationships, (ii) design of the Bert+TextCnn model combined with the k-nrm text matching algorithm to calculate the question template that is closest to the user's question in the system, and (iii) construct a cypher sentence based on the medical entity and the question template. the experimental results demonstrate that the medical KG question answering system based on intent recognition and k-nrm text matching has a higher accuracy rate than the traditional question answering system, and has a extraordinary question answering ability. © 2021 IEEE.

Traffic signal control is an essential and chal-lenging real-world problem, which aims to alleviate traffic congestion by coordinating vehicles' movements at road in-tersections. Deep reinforcement learning (DRL) combines deep neural networks (DNNs) with a framework of reinforcement learning, which is a promising method for adaptive traffic signal control in complex urban traffic networks. Now, multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MARL) has the potential to deal with traffic signal control at a large scale. However, current traffic signal control systems still rely heavily on simplified rule- based methods in practice. In this paper, we propose: (1) a MARL algorithm based on Nash Equilibrium and DRL, namely Nash Asynchronous Advantage Actor-Critic (Nash-A3C);(2) an urban simulation environment (SENV) to be essentially close to the real-world scenarios. We apply our method in SENV, obtaining better performance than benchmark traffic signal control methods by 22.1%, which proves that Nash-A3C to be more suitable for large industrial level deployment. © 2021 IEEE.
