Owing to the meteoric rise of the Web, social media platforms have evolved into an essential part of the manner in which people express their thoughts and emotions through writing. Written words, visuals, sound, and moving pictures are just some of the many ways in which people share their ideas and opinions with the world. In the blink of an eye, a myriad of unstructured social media structures unexpectedly generat vast amounts of unstructured online data that can be used to better comprehend human psychology. Sentiment analysis, which determines the tone of a piece of writing, can be used for this purpose. Analyze the reviews that the individual has read and decide whether the author's point of view is positive, negative, or neutral. Some critics argue that emotion recognition is necessary to select a person's emotional/mental kingdom because emotion analysis is inadequate,- and that judgment of a person's emotional/mental kingdom at the level of emotion evaluation, numerous emotional models, emotion studies, and feeling intensity is unreliable. Sentences that recognize your mannerisms. Evaluations of emotions and perspectives are difficult because of the difficulties encountered. © 2023 IEEE.

Aggregation is one of the most common operations in data analytics systems, but complex aggregation query like grouping aggregation on massive data sets is a relatively expensive operation. thus, improving the efficiency of aggregation query has become a hot topic for database researchers. the emergence of massively parallel coprocessors provides a way to solve this issue. Prior works focus mainly on aggregation optimization using one kind of coprocessors, but little is known about the performance impact on the heterogeneous computing system with diverse coprocessors, such as GPGPUs, MICs or FPGAs. To investigate the potential benefits of the use of heterogeneous computing systems in improving the performance of aggregation operation, in this paper, we design a grouping aggregation scheme with GPUs and MICs to work collaboratively. the scheme includes task partitioning method, data transfer mode, and aggregation algorithm optimization. To verify the effectiveness of our collective aggregation scheme, we performed a series of experiments on a heterogeneous platform with one Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor and one NVIDIA GPU coprocessor, and the results have shown that our aggregation processing strategy for the heterogeneous systems is effective and can achieve noticeable performance improvement comparing the CPU-only parallel computing system, even taking the communication overhead via PCI Express bus into account. © 2022 IEEE.

this research aims at enhancing the methods and techniques that are being used in disease detection when it comes to soilless farming. Soilless farming is quite famous among the Sri Lankan farmers farming in urban areas. A mobile application is launched by us and this application is capable of identifying diseases in plants, therefore, farmers do not have to rely on their years of experience to identify the diseases. A novice farmer may struggle to say what is wrong with their plants, while another farmer with many years of experience may say what the disease is with no hesitation. Both those types of farmers benefit from our mobile application equally. the said mobile application consists of four components and each of them focuses on a different service. One of those components is to detect and manage diseases in plant leaves and that component is what this research paper showcases. this particular component allows the user to capture live-images of plant leaves. then the application processes the captured image to identify if the plant is suffering from a disease. After that, it generates a report with a set of treatments. It further analyses and alerts the user if this disease detected is going to affect the harvest. © 2022 IEEE.

YOLOv7-tiny, as a lightweight variant of YOLOv7, boasts advantages of fast runtime and fewer parameters. However, when directly applied to infrared object detection, YOLOv7-tiny still faces challenges such as weak extraction of fine details, loss of semantic information, and high resource consumption. To address these issues, we propose a comprehensive balance between detection speed and accuracy in the Rapider-YOLOv7 object detection network. Firstly, it introduces the Exponential Spatial Pyramid Pooling with Channel Spatial Pyramid (Soft-SPPCSP) module to enhance the capability of the original model in extracting low contrast information from infrared images. Secondly, it designs the FO-CA attention module to strengthen the model's feature extraction capability for infrared images with weak textures. Furthermore, it devises the lightweight SFaster-net network, which incorporates SPDconv convolution for feature extraction to accelerate the model's feature extraction speed and enhance its capability to extract features from low-resolution images. Experimental results on the FLIR-v2 infrared dataset demonstrate that the mAP of the Rapider-YOLOv7 model reaches 62.6%, which is 2.9% higher than that of the original YOLOv7-tiny. Moreover, the FPS value on the RTX4060ti reaches 93. © 2024 IEEE.

KOSEN-KMITL, the first Japanese style KOSEN in thailand, was established on May 2019 in King Mongkut's Institute of technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). KOSEN-KMITL is an engineering, technology, and Innovation work force development project, to support, raise the investment and increase the industrial capacity of the thai industry region. At the establishment of this college, we need to design, develop, and implement all the engineering related subject starting from zero. We have no good reference to establish the engineering Design course. the author of this paper, who had engaged in NASA/JAXA international Space Station for a long time, proposed to apply the "NASA Systems engineering Handbook" to the engineering Design Course in KOSEN-KMIT. NASA had developed and published their "NASA Systems engineering Handbook" in 2007 and NASA goes public it worldwide under the NASA Science and Technical Information (STI) program. this NASA Systems engineering Handbook is expected to provide the technical guidance and information on systems engineering that will be beneficial to the aerospace community and other related industrial community. On the other hand, this handbook would be a good textbook for the University and college students who are in the engineering course and study the engineering design, system engineering, and other engineering related subject. We also apply this NASA System engineering Handbook to the case study practice in the course of "Introduction to engineering Design," "Introduction to Design Approach," "Reverse engineering" for the 1st and 2nd grade students and "PBL" for the 3rd grade students. As the result, students can learn the project life cycle process from concept study to critical/final design and apply these engineering approach to their projects for the 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade students. It would be very important to develop the skill and bring up the engineering mind-set as early stage in the engineering course for the younger studen

the main work of this paper is to combine the advantages of Finite Element Method (FEM) and Monte Carlo (MC) method in semiconductor numerical modeling and calculation, and develop and design a semiconductor numerical calculation software based on the combination of FEM and MC method. It mainly includes a complete set of semiconductor numerical calculation tools, such as mesh discrete module, partial differential equation (PDE) module, MC module and visualization (VTK) module. Different from the general MC method, the Poisson equation coupling solution module in the MC method is solved by the FEM, which can adapt to various irregular discrete calculations. the device discretization can be optimized according to the actual needs, so that relatively accurate calculation results can be obtained while consuming less resources. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

Various plant diseases affect farmers all over the world and there is a very small amount of solutions available online for free in order to assist. In Sri Lanka, in order to address this issue, we have done a study which outputs a mobile application which utilizes image processing and recommend pesticides according to corresponding disease. the disease detection method includes image acquisition, image pre-processing, image segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. this study looked at methods for identifying plant ailments using photos of their leaves. this work also presented unique segmentation and feature extraction techniques for plant disease identification. For feature extraction, the CNN algorithm is utilized. this research paper may be a revolutionary approach to diagnosing plant illnesses by employing a deep convolutional neural network that has been trained and fine-tuned to suit a database of a plant's leaves gathered independently for distinct plant diseases. At the end of the study we achieved an accuracy of 98 percent in detecting the plant diseases and further on implemented mobile system which can suggest pesticide accordingly. © 2022 IEEE.

Paintings fill people's lives. In order to explore the influence of painters on each other, major changes in the development of painting, and changes in the painting with social change, we analyze the compositions to reduce the dimension of the data. Based on the correlation of data, we establish a measurement model of painting similarity. Distances between vectors representing painters/paintings are applied to measure their similarity and use support vector machines to build classification models. We explore the evolution of painting by building a time series model for experiments. Finally, we analyze the cultural influence of paintings and identified the influence of social, political, or technological changes in the network in combination with time-series models. © 2022 IEEE.

this paper presents the control and modelling of an EV charger. the proposed EV charger consists of two-stage power conversion, the initial stage consists of SI-SEPIC converter, which inherently provides the power factor correction of the EV charger at the source, and the later consists of Fly back converter. Collective combination of these two converters for the EV charger results for the operation of converter at reduced duty ratio resulting which efficiency of the converter is increased. this work mainly focuses on designing the components of the converter and power factor correction using PWM and SPWM controller techniques in MATLAB environment. © 2022 IEEE.

the term 'smart grid' describes the future generation of electrical power networks, which are very complicated systems. It must take into account all aspects of the electrical system, increasing its intelligence and adaptability. In response to shifts in the electrical market, this idea is put out with the intention of controlling the rising demand while guaranteeing higher service quality and enhanced safety. this research presents an urban scenario that incorporates dispersed energy sources into a smart grid. the research incorporates renewable energy sources like solar panels and tiny windmills into the system, as well as battery storage and grid-connected vehicles that can power the electrical grid by drawing electricity from the storage device. So, to maximize the energy production and absorption systems as well as the recharging and discharging time for a home user's electric car, a mixed integer linear programming is proposed. Additionally, a number of case studies are provided by changing important variables using the Taguchi technique of design of experiments in order to identify the best solution and demonstrate how each influences the system's complexity. © 2024 IEEE.
