Water quality prediction is a research hotspot in the field of ecological environment, which is of great significance to the prevention of water pollution and the construction of automatic water quality monitoring network. the accuracy of prediction model results will affect the scientificity and correctness of applied engineering projects, as well as the accuracy of water pollution control measures. Firstly, the background of water quality prediction and the development and research trends of water quality models at home and abroad are systematically introduced. then, the water quality prediction method based on machine learning is mainly introduced, focusing on time series prediction method, regression analysis method, neural network method and combination prediction method. the applicability and limitations of the model are analyzed respectively. Finally, according to the research history and present situation of water quality prediction model, the development trend of water quality prediction model is prospected. © 2021 IEEE.

the demand of AI is increasing day by day in the medical field. Machine Learning (ML) is subset of AI. ML has become popular tool and widely used to detect several medical diseases at higher accuracy. Promising accuracy of ML algorithms depend on training of digital images like CT, MRI, X-rays etc. In this paper, CNN model is proposed to classify brain tumour into malignant and non-malignant class and comparative study using diverse ML algorithm is conducted and their accuracy is compared. this paper explores role of ML in clinical diagnosis, accurate prediction and clinical analysis regarding brain tumour disease based on various brain tumour dataset like figshare, brats, Kaggle. Proposed CNN model has achieved 98% promising accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

Polyglot Persistence refers to using different databases in the same architecture to achieve availability, scalability, consistency and fault tolerance. this research study proposes a novel approach to deal with failures in distributed databases. Most businesses use distributed databases and replication techniques to achieve high availability and scalability as their reliance on digital data grows. Even with backup solutions such as snapshots and binary logs, there are challenges such as data loss due to disc corruption or network issues. this research study proposes a polyglot architecture that includes a NoSQL rapid access key-value storage and cache to improve system resilience and reduce reliance on primary server databases. the proposed method saves timestamps and query logs to extra storage, allowing for query reconstruction and data restoration in the event of disc corruption or server failure. © 2023 IEEE.

this study examines the dynamics of national well-being in China from 2010 to 2021, leveraging multivariate analysis, including Ordered Logistic Regression (Ologit) and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) models, of longitudinal data from the China General Social Survey (CGSS). By applying multiple imputation via chained equations (MICE), missing data are addressed, ensuring robust statistical inferences. Results indicate that, contrary to trends in developed countries like the U.S. and Germany, China's national well-being has improved during the decade studied. Specifically, higher perceptions of social equity, better physical and mental health, stable family conditions, and enhanced environmental protection efforts significantly contribute to increased well-being. these findings provide valuable insights for policymakers aiming to improve societal welfare through targeted interventions in health, environmental policy, and social equity. © 2024 IEEE.

Given the problem that the detection performance of the current multi-UAV cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm is not so good, this paper comes up with a multi-UAV spectrum sensing algorithm based on group cooperation. Firstly, a multi-UAV cooperative sensing architecture model is constructed, and secondly, a cooperative spectrum sensing method based on the combination of feature extraction and clustering algorithm is proposed. Finally, the simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper outperforms the traditional method under the condition of low SNR. Better detection performance is the advantage of collaborative sensing algorithms, multi-UAV swarms communicate with each other to achieve collaboration, can accurately perform collaborative spectrum sensing tasks, and have broad application prospects. © 2022 IEEE.

the smart glass is a potential tool that could assist those who are blind or visually impaired and might enhance their quality of life. Smart glasses are for those who need to independently navigate and feel secure and at ease while doing so in public. It is predicated on the straightforward notion that blind people do not want to stand out while utilizing the instruments for assistance. the important research in the wearable electronics domain and the features that are available as add-ons are the primary subject matter of this paper. the smart glass uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles or people in front of it in real-time and relay that information to the Raspberry Pi. Using these smart glasses, the distance up to the object is identified along with the identification of the image according to the database, and multiple detections are also possible. So, these types of smart glasses are good for visually impaired people. © 2023 IEEE.

Diabetic foot ulcers are a serious complication among diabetic patients whose blood sugar levels are not efficiently controlled. Open lesions or sores like these typically affect the lower area of the body. Severe instances may entail amputation of the lower extremity. this research study has come up with a solution that may help both in the diagnosis and therapeutic procedures for foot ulcers. the device helps to identify foot ulcers with the help of temperature and pressure sensors located in the various pressure points of the foot. this is detected and is automatically given a prescribed rate of vibrations with the help of a vibration motor. this not only helps in the healing of the ulcers but also enhances the blood flow in the area which may help in the prevention of the recurrence of these ulcerated wounds. Also, an accelerometer is attached to this device in order to monitor the treatment and mark its efficiency in curing these ulcers. © 2023 IEEE.

In response to the 'carbon peaking and carbon neutrality' goals, the energy structure in China has undergone a great transformation. Construction of the new power system has begun. the proportion of renewable generation has increased gradually. However, the operation and scheduling of the power system are influenced by the increasing renewable generation. this paper develops a multi-timescale flexible industrial load aggregation response method based on the K-means clustering analysis. First, the K-means method is used to cluster the daily load curves of different industries to obtain the typical electricity consumption behaviors. Second, the visual models of flexible industrial load are established based on the results of clustering analysis. Finally, the optimization model is constructed to generate the aggregation strategy in different timescales. the effectiveness of the developed method is verified via a load aggregator simulation case. © 2024 IEEE.

Automated Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) generation is a rapidly growing field in Natural Language Processing (NLP) that aims to assist educators and trainers in creating high-quality, efficient, and effective assessment materials. this is achieved by analyzing large amounts of textual data, such as educational content, and identifying key concepts and relationships between them. the process of generating MCQs automatically can be broken down into several steps, including text summarization, keyword extraction, distractor generation, and sentence mapping. A new approach is proposed for Text summarization is based on NLP models like XLNet and YAKE is used for keyword extraction. Distractor generation is done using lexical databases such as ConceptNet and WordNet. Sentence mapping is used to identify the main concepts and relationships within a text, which can then be used to formulate questions and options for the multiple-choice questions. the output is a set of MCQs that are semantically related to the input text and can be used for educational and training purposes. © 2023 IEEE.
