Extracting accurate morphological features of foot wounds is essential for the correct treatment of foot ulcers (a complication of diabetes). To reduce the workload of healthcare professionals and alleviate the problem that traditional diagnostic methods are heavily influenced by subjective factors, we propose a foot ulcer segmentation method based on an improved UNet model. the proposed method uses the classical network UNet as the backbone, and adds a coarse localization module that makes judgments based on a priori knowledge,and add SVM in the outout node. Tested on the FUSeg dataset, the segmentation result achieved 89.02% on Dice evaluation, and it is higher than compared the state-of-the-art networks. © 2022 IEEE.

this research aims to improve the heating efficiency of compressor driven air conditioning systems in cold regions to combat the global warming and promote the energy efficiency. this study proposes a novel approach to efficiently heat the compressor by utilizing the losses of the electric motor. the energy conversion process during compressor preheating is analyzed firstly, and then the numerical relationships for the losses generated by the driver and the energy conversion within the compressor motor are established. To distribute energy effectively and adjust the heating power, a novel heating modulation algorithm is proposed. Additionally, the relationship between motor losses and input variables is explored using the finite element analysis. Experimental validation was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

Induction coil sensors have been widely used in magnetic sensing and communication. However, the basic working principle of Faraday's law indicates that only the change of magnetic flux could induce detectable output voltage. therefore, induction type magnetic sensors could only measure AC magnetic fields. Moreover, the complicate equivalent circuit of the sensor results in complicated frequency dependent response. Here we report resonant frequency modulation by incorporation of capacitance with both serial and parallel connections, resulting in tunable magnetic sensing and communication functions. © 2024 IEEE.

Use of E-learning systems has surged immensely during the Covid-19 pandemic, which started around 2020. this research specifically conducted to introduce novel features with the purpose of enhancing traditional E Learning platforms. the suggested features are namely, avoid unauthorized users from accessing private video sessions using face recognition, manipulating 3D objects by hand gestures, analyzing student's attention using face landmarks, smart QAs using voice recognitions. these features will provide not only an enhancement for e-Learning platforms but also it will improve user experience, efficiency, and effectiveness of current tools up to a certain distinguishable level. © 2022 IEEE.

this study focuses on improving the accuracy of lung cancer subtype classification by integrating machine learning feature selection with a deep learning model, namely, a Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP). Using gene expression data from the TCGA database, we employed threshold variance and chi-square test feature selection, normalized the selected gene features using z-score normalization, and finally applied MLP for deep learning classification. through comparisons with traditional machine learning models such as KNN, SVM, and Random Forest, we comprehensively examined multiple evaluation metrics, including accuracy, recall, precision, and F1 score. the results indicate that our MLP approach exhibits significant advantages over traditional methods in all aspects, particularly achieving a notable improvement in accuracy ranging from 2.6% to 12.8%. Overall, our deep learning classification method demonstrates outstanding performance in lung cancer subtype tasks, providing robust support for the application of deep learning in the biomedical field. © 2024 IEEE.

A common dynamic energy transfer method in electric field coupled wireless power transfer technology is the dynamic track coupler. this article designs a dynamic track type coupler, which is more suitable for track type transportation equipment with relatively fixed structures. Compared with traditional long rail couplers, it increases coupling capacitance and improves the stability of dynamic energy transmission. By designing couplers, the ability to shield leakage electric fields has been improved while significantly saving materials. A bidirectional LC topology CPT system has been designed, and when the transmission power is greater than 1kW, the transmission efficiency can reach 80%, improving the power density of the transmission structure. In addition, when offset occurs, transmission efficiency and power can fluctuate within a small range. © 2024 IEEE.

Crime against children is a heinous act that transgresses the moral fabric of the community and refers to an action which causes physical & emotional harm to children as well as their psychological well-being. this type of crime manifests in several forms including sexual abuse, rape & exploitation, child trafficking, abusing children or neglecting children, cruelty, children put for begging and child pornography etc. Children are innocent & delicate and require care and protection from the parents as well as the government which is responsible for the safety of society and public wellbeing. the Crime against children data published by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) of India is used to analyze and detect prone areas using Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) clustering method. the analysis & results of this study may help government to take additional precautionary steps and come up with effective strategies to fight against crimes on children © 2023 IEEE.

In order to support computing-intensive and service-sensitive Internet of Vehicles (IoV) applications, Digital Twin and edge computing are attractive solutions. Most of the existing IoV service offloading solutions only consider edge-cloud collaboration, but the cooperation between small cell eNodeB(SCeNB) nodes should not be ignored. through reasonable cooperative computing between nodes, service delays far lower than offloading tasks to the cloud can be obtained. We generate and maintain the simulation of cooperation between SCeNB nodes by constructing a Digital twin to simulate SCeNB nodes in the small cell manager (SCM), thereby realizing user task offloading positions, sub-channel allocation and computing resource allocation. After that, we proposed an algorithm AUC-AC based on the dominant actor critic network and the auction-mechanism. In the DT of each SCeNB node, the global strategy is learned via deep reinforcement learning model. Numerical results show that our proposed experimental scheme is better than several baseline algorithms in terms of service delay. © 2021 IEEE.
