In today's cyberspace, everyone stores data in a cloud, whether it be images, personal documents, or any other, and it all accesses a remote system by using the applications/technology. With the use of cloud networks in the infrastructure, the information uploaded should be maintained secure. the spread of cloud storages helps in strengthening the recent technological developments, and it is expanding the limits of the infrastructure as well. the organizations are slowly shifting their base to the cloud systems, and some service providers help in creating space in the existing storages. Cryptography is a critical tool for preventing this from happening. It protects information and communications by enforcing a set of rules, that enable only those who are supposed to receive the information, to access and handle it. It can protect crucial cloud data while without interfering with data transmission. thus, a need to improve the current security standards and protocols used in cloud storage and make it much safer for the user, has been noticed. the goal of this research is to provide a reliable cloud service that secures data such that integrity is maintained and is safe from external threats. © 2023 IEEE.

the main goal of this study is to compare the closed loop response of a DC-DC Buck Converter using different optimization strategies such as Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR). For a converter operating in Continuous Conduction Mode(CCM), a simplified discrete model-based predictive control is described, along with some general remarks on LQR compared to it. the control decision computation is basic for the system. By linearizing the matrix of converter model coefficients, the discrete model of the converter is made simpler. the control task is first solved using a linear quadratic regulator coupled with feedforward control. Second, it implements nonlinear model predictive control. the output of the converter can be adjusted with a quick and accurate response under varied working situations, according to simulation results that demonstrate the viability of the predictive control method when implemented online and using digital technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Income tax is the largest source of tax revenue in India. the tax is used for development of the country which in turn benefits the citizens and improves the lifestyle of the population. Yet, the number of taxpayers in India is about 82.7 million people which is only 6.25 percent of the over 132 crore population. there are various reasons which lead to Indians not paying their taxes, the major being lack of transparency of information about the way the tax is being spent by the government. An application that is completely transparent in information storage is required, which should allow each and every citizen to pay their tax to the government and be able to monitor the usage of their tax money by the *** research work proposes a novel tax tracker application. this application works completely over the blockchain technology, which prioritises decentralised data as its key principle. this solution can solve the transparency problem by showing the use of the tax amount by the government to the users and will keep a track of the amount and its allocation for various government projects. It also helps the government have a clear vision on how their constituencies are using the allocated budget. © 2023 IEEE.

Tamil is one of the world's earliest surviving languages, from which modern Indian scripts draw inspiration. However, there has been limited development of Optical Character Recognition techniques for Tamil characters. this paper describes a model for Tamil vowels-based Optical Character Recognition. the strategy seeks to utilise a CHFR feature extraction technique to extract three distinct feature vectors from the contours of each individual character's centroid. these feature vectors are condensed into a single vector before being sent to the CatBoost classifier for classification. Using the Optuna framework, hyperparameter optimisation and comparative analysis of existing models are performed. the proposed scheme is applied to a dataset of 6,972 handwritten samples evenly divided into 12 classes representing the vowels of the Tamil alphabet. the primary evaluation metric is accuracy, and 84.36% testing accuracy is observed. © 2023 IEEE.

this research probed the capabilities of supervised machine learning algorithms in credit card fraud detection, an essential facet of contemporary digital finance, and integrated the transformative idea of blockchain for added security and transparency. Findings highlighted the predominant efficiency of the XGBoost algorithm, which recorded an accuracy of 97%, a precision of 94%, and an AUC of 0.97. Other notable performers included the Gradient Boosting Machine and Random Forest. the study underscores the potential of integrating advanced machine learning techniques and blockchain technology to significantly enhance fraud detection systems, ultimately enhancing user trust and the security of online transactions. Recommendations for the adoption of algorithms like XGBoost and the utilization of blockchain ensures immutable transaction records and continuous monitoring for adaptive defense against evolving cyber threats. Future research directions might encompass the exploration of hybrid models, blockchain integration, and deep learning techniques to further enhance fraud detection mechanisms. this research provides research reference for financial institutions that strive to optimize the digital transaction standards. © 2023 IEEE.

Face attributes related single-task recognition technology has become mature, however, the research on deep multi-task learning in the field of face attribute recognition is not enough. Aiming at the problem that single-task recognition ignores the correlation of different attributes and the subjectivity of deep multi-task model construction, a model construction method is proposed for recognition of multiple attributes of human face simultaneously. Firstly, CKA is introduced to calculate the similarity between different single-task models, and the shared parts and branch parts of the deep multi-task model are determined;then, a deep multi-task learning model is constructed, realizing information sharing through parameter sharing in the shallow layer, and completing the identification of specific attributes by setting different task output layers in the deep layer, through attention module to better accomplish the recognition of specific attributes. Finally, the effectiveness of this method is verified on the public datasets Adience and UTKFace, and more optimal experimental results are obtained for gender and age recognition. © 2022 IEEE.

Effective identification of partial discharge types is an important prerequisite for accurately assessing the insulation state of oil-immersed transformers. In this paper, a classification combined identification method is proposed for localized discharge ultrasonic signals of oil-immersed transformers based on ensemble empirical modal decomposition (EEMD) and least squares support vector machine (LSSVM). First, the EEMD algorithm is used to analyze the time-frequency of the local discharge ultrasonic signals, then the intrinsic modal function (IMF) obtained by calculating the EEMD decomposition is used to select 11 feature parameters to form a hybrid feature vector, and finally, the LSSVM classification algorithm is used to classify and identify the type of discharge. In order to verify the accuracy of the algorithm, an experimental platform is set up for collecting four different types of local discharge ultrasonic signals. By performing feature extraction and pattern recognition on four types of Partial Discharge (PD) ultrasound signals, the recognition accuracy was 94.38%. the comparison experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can effectively extract the characteristic parameters of local discharge ultrasonic signals and accurately identify the type of discharge, which is of good value for engineering applications. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to conduct study on the underwater living world, diving is now frequently used. the health concerns divers have when diving are one of the main issues with diving, which is why it's important to check divers' health. the primary focus of this research is on diving health monitoring systems that communicate data utilizing Light Fidelity. this device detects many health parameters, including Panic button, temperature and body position. the detected health parameters are stored in a memory chip as a database for later study. the system only sends information to adjacent person and submarine when the critical situation happens in order to conserve electricity. A prospective technology to appreciate underwater communication is water electronic communication. Due to the physical scale being constrained in real water, the underwater electrical communication experiment performed in the lab is radically different from that conducted *** this paper, many types of agent's area unit evaluated to vary the coefficients of experimental water exactly. the frequency domain characteristic of knowledge exchange across water channels is then evaluated and compared in experimental water as a criterion for the responsibleness of water recreation. To save power, the device only transmits data to nearby divers and vessels when its health is unhealthy. the results show that the type and size of the active substance can have a significant effect on the properties of water, and consequently the frequency-domain components of water communication signals are adversely affected by the concentration of the active substance. Diving has become a popular way to analyze the underwater world. On the other hand, natural disasters in recent decades have generated a great deal of interest in studying and monitoring the coastal environment. the shift from offline to online work has resulted in long sitting hours of the students and employees. It is crucial for them to do at least some physical movements in between sitting hours. Some fun activities could motivate them to do exercise. For this purpose, we have proposed a game which can be played in real time. the diminishing equipment cost makes it reasonable to Virtual Reality (VR) headsets with gaming hardware and gestures. In this paper, we talk about the utilization of various gamification methods in VR for encouraging exercise. We portray both the hardware setting and the use of sensors to detect the user gestures for jumping and crouching. We assess the viability of such strategies through a user study, which gives valuable insights on their effectiveness in designing such apps. © 2023 IEEE.
