Failure analysis technology has a wide range of applications in national defense and industrial fields, including but not limited to aviation, aerospace, ships, weapons, and CLP. On the basis of reviewing the development history and current situation of integrated circuit failure analysis technology at home and abroad, its purpose, significance, common misunderstandings, analysis procedures and analysis techniques are expounded. Two typical cases arising from design factors are deeply analyzed and studied. the failure characteristics, main failure modes and related failure causes of integrated circuits in a well-known domestic research institute in the past two years are given, and necessary measures to prevent and control failures are proposed, and their feasibility is verified in the actual analysis and application process. It has a good practical effect on improving the reliability of the whole machine. © 2022 IEEE.

the IoT (Internet of things) is an ever-expanding system of interconnected computing devices. It's a term for when real-world items can communicate with one another via data transfers. the availability and dependability of its activities are crucial to the day-to-day functioning of modern society. As a result, it's important to find a solution to the problem of ensuring secured data transmission across Internet of things. An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a piece of software designed to keep an eye on a network or computer system and to address any suspicious activity. New threats and countermeasures must be incorporated into the network's protected evolution. the primary function of IDS is to protect valuable resources against intrusion. Intruders can be spotted using various intrusion detection techniques, strategies, and algorithms. this major purpose of this study is to propose a comprehensive system for identifying intrusion risks by applying Least Squares Support Vector Machine approach. After receiving input, the following step is preprocessing, which was accomplished via Normalization, Discretization, and Feature selection in this study. these techniques are used for data preprocessing and feature selection. Training the model using LSSVM is the final stage. As compared to other models like SVM and RF, the proposed model attains an accuracy of roughly 97.7%. © 2023 IEEE.

Polarization, a fundamental characteristic of electromagnetic (EM) waves, is crucial for modern communication and remote sensing systems. High-precision acquisition of polarization information is essential in sensing applications for accurately identifying and analyzing targets and scenes. this paper introduces a novel method for detecting microwave polarization using spoof localized surface plasmons (SLSPs). SLSPs are EM modes that simulate electronic and optical resonance phenomena in the microwave and terahertz bands, exhibiting deep subwavelength characteristics, field confinement, and near-field enhancement. these attributes enable device miniaturization and improved signal-to-noise ratios. the proposed method involves decomposing the dipole eigenmodes of the SLSPs into two orthogonal basis modes. By measuring their responses, accurate polarization information of incident microwaves can be obtained. A practical polarization sensing device consisting of an SLSPs resonator, was designed and validated through simulations and experiments. Additionally, we explored integrating the polarization sensing system with a circuit system. this paper offers a promising approach for advanced applications in microwave polarization detection. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapidly increasing volume of IoT devices in the last decade due to the adaptation of the smart home/office concepts around the world, IoT devices are being targeted by hackers to perform attacks like DDOS and most likely creating botnets which will drastically decrease the performance of IoT devices and may also compromise the networks they are connected to. It is difficult to detect compromised IoT devices because there is more than one device in a simple IoT network, and it is difficult to monitor every device in the network. To solve this issue, this research proposes a Secure Middleware for IoT devices that will collect data generated by IoT devices, scan them for any malicious activity and then trigger an alert if any threat is detected in the IoT Network. the secure middleware is implemented in the proposed SDN architecture that uses Fog computing, Cloud computing, and VPN technologies to create a secure, scalable, flexible, and fast network architecture. A machine learning model is used to examine and detect any malicious activity in the IoT network. An open-source SIEM called the ELK stack is used to trigger alerts for the malicious activity identified by the ML model. With the help of the ML model and the SIEM, this proposed middleware will efficiently secure the IoT SoftwareDefined network by detecting malicious attacks in real-time. © 2022 IEEE.

IoT is a huge network that interconnects sensors to the Internet with the help of some communication protocols. Monitoring the environment with the help of the sensor has grown rapidly in recent years, where energy efficiency is crucial. However, there are always solutions to support the WSNs (Kumar et al. in 2022 7th international conference on computing, communication and security (ICCCS). IEEE, pp 1–6, 2004, [1]). the networks can harvest energy from environments around since many wireless resources with unlimited energy can be exploited. this paper introduces RF sources how a WEH unit works and what are the protocols used in each layer of the protocol stack with the help of the Network Simulator application and implementation of LEACH protocol to improve the battery life of the sensor node. With a significant improvement in the remaining and consumed energy of sensor nodes within the network, with an average accuracy increase of 5–6. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Skin diseases are a global health problem, and the accuracy of skin disease diagnosis is undoubtedly considered an important factor in the treatment and recovery of patients. However, the original Conformer model has limitations in extracting multi-scale features from images. To address this problem, we introduce the wavelet transform convolution (WTConv2d) and Squeeze-and-Excitation Attention (SEAttention) modules. the former enhances the model’s ability to extract multi-scale features from images, and the latter improves the expression of key features by adaptively adjusting channel weights. Experiments on the DermNet dermatosis dataset show that the improved WHC model outperforms the traditional Conformer model in terms of accuracy, recall and F1 score after the same number of training iterations. this paper provides new ideas and methods for the automated classification of dermatosis. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

With the ongoing advancement of the State Grid information system, accurate forecasting of cloud data center resource loads becomes pivotal in enhancing the efficiency of cloud computing resource utilization, minimizing power consumption, and optimizing operational costs associated with human resources. Addressing the challenges of low prediction accuracy and the intricate time series characteristics of historical data, a novel approach, ABLCL, is proposed. this method leverages a multi-model fusion strategy incorporating ARIMA, BPNN, and LSTM models, integrating time series factors. through comparative experiments on public datasets, the efficacy and stability of the proposed model in predicting cloud computing resource loads are validated, demonstrating superior performance over alternative forecasting models. © 2024 SPIE.

With the development of the construction industry, construction work more and more tends to mechanization, automation, and intelligence. the appearance of handling robots greatly improves the handling efficiency and reduces the cost. Even though great efforts have been made on motion pattern recognition for handling robots, the existing methods still have some shortcomings. Previous studies are all used for motion pattern recognition, each input is processed separately, which cuts off the time continuity between the latter data and the former data. To this end, in this paper, we first emphasize the importance of temporal correlation between data in the field of motion pattern recognition and devise an LSTM based method to ease the issue above. Finally, we use Softmax to effectively calculate the classification results of data potential features and temporal information. Compared with traditional machine learning models and popular neural network models, extensive experiments on real-world datasets demonstrate the effect of our framework is superior to the baselines, thus providing novel perspectives to the building automation industry. © 2022 IEEE.

the study of land-use-land cover (LULC) has become a necessity with the advancement of the urbanization process. Increased erosion of soil, increased silting, and sedimentation of the rivers are key effects that require study and analysis. Deep learning has a significant impact on classification tasks, particularly in the field of remote sensing image analysis. the proposed framework classifies LULC classes by employing the characteristics of deep learning. In this work, we compared the proposed method with the traditional machine learning methods in extracting water and riverine sand from multispectral remote sensing images. Further, we analyse the impact of Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) and Adam optimizers. the Adam optimizer implemented in this work gives higher accuracy than other combinations. © 2023 IEEE.
