Running a large scientific or web application in cost oriented manner is the present day's demand in cloud computing. Workflow scheduling with minimum runtime and within the user budget is an important reserach area in cloud environment. In this paper, we propose a budget constrained task duplication based scheduling algorithm for infrastructure as a service (IaaS) cloud that utilizes user's remaining budget to a greater extent for reducing the schedule length. We simulate the proposed algorithm on various scientific and random workflows of different size and category. the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the existing scheduling algorithms.

Based on open-source Hadoop cloud computing platforms, we designed a messaging middleware system: Cloudqueue. this paper presents a simulation framework which integrates geographically distributedcomputing recourses over the internet for solving structural systems. the proposed framework is based on the integration of hierarchical modeling and cluster-to-cluster computing to incorporate these two types of modeling of structural components into one single simulation on an internet-based computing environment. the hierarchical modeling describes the intricate relations between the rigorous component model and the rest of the system by the synchronization of two scales of the component models. the simulation works are then distributed amongst a cluster-to-cluster computing environment which powers the simulation withthe remote available computing resources connected by the internet. Several system mechanisms are proposed in this paper to realize the proposed internet-based simulation. the design and implementation of the software platform which supports the proposed simulation based on the proposed system mechanisms are then presented.
