In an industrial internet with clear hierarchical division like China’s digital grid, real-time and fast intelligent decision-making for power production control at the local field level can be supported by cloud-edge computing. In the cloud-edge fusion within this scenario, there will be a large amount of information interaction and data transmission between entities in different locations, which also involves differentiated routing decisions for computing tasks. therefore, it is of great significance to comprehensively consider the computing resources and network resources in the digital grid to schedule the computing tasks in the above scenario. distributed routing is a routing method relative to centralized control routing (such as SDN, software-defined network). Each individual distributed router calculates the routing table itself and then determines the forwarding strategy based on the previous calculation results. Such as EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), DSDV (Destination Distance Vector Protocol), etc. Based on the distributed vector routing technology, this paper proposes a distributed routing protocol that can comprehensively consider the existing computing resources and network resources (delay, bandwidth, etc.) in the network for calculation, and designs a simulation test system. the system can virtualize a small-scale network including several routing nodes, and complete processes such as neighbor discovery, route notification, route computation, and data forwarding, thereby verifying the availability of routing protocols. © 2023 IEEE.

Advancement in technology such as Sensor technology, wireless technology, internet of things and distributed processing have contributed transformation in the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Now, wired technology is being transformed into wireless technology because of more efficiency and more reliability. Zigbee is leading wireless technology which is used to implement Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN. It is very easy to connect Zigbee network with internet. In a proposed work, internet of things (IoT) enabled waste management system is implemented by using Zigbee cluster tree network. Here, cluster tree network consists of a coordinator Zigbee, a router Zigbee and two Radio Frequency Devices (RFDs) which is connected to the internet. Two End Device Zigbees (RFD) and a Zigbee coordinator have its associated dustbin. All three devices monitor the waste level of its dustbin and collect this information at the server. If any device determines, level of waste is above threshold, notification of such scenario will be sent to municipal corporation through GSM. Notification specifies geographical location along with its level of waste in particular dustbin. So that municipal corporation workers can easily locate position of dustbin. By using proposed method, we can manage waste disposal in an efficient way. © 2021 IEEE.

Cloud computing is the technique of dynamic virtual provisioning of computing resources like processing power, storage, networking and Information technology infrastructure through the internet on pay per use basis from service providers. Customers can request for resources on the cloud from anywhere on the planet, by sending request through internet to cloud service provider. Cloud computing uses the concept of the virtual machines and store data on virtual machines, instead of physical machines. Load balancing is the major aspect of cloud computing atmosphere. It is a process of distributing the total load among the system various node to make effective use of resource utilization and to improve system performance while also condition arrived where several nodes are heavily loaded and other are idle. this paper will present several techniques of load balancing in different cloud environment, existing load balancing technique and also discuss various parameters like scalability, performance, resource utilization, fault tolerance, associative overhead.

Just a few years ago, incorporating team projects in a course meant that all students had to be collocated, able to meet face-to-face. Now, distributed teams use the internet and other technologies to work across time and distance. Instructors who include distributed team projects in their courses add the dimensions of collaborative technologies, language, and culture to the technical problem-solving and team-building aspects. Continuous improvement in course structure and content are necessary to meet the changing needs of students as well as the changes in technology. this paper traces the evolution of a distributed project course offered since 1998. Each time the course has been run, students, faculty, and researchers have learned important lessons, which have been used to improve successive course offerings.

Mobile communication companies at present are looking for a 4G technology that aims at better reliability. this aim can be achieved by using Multiple Inputs Multiple Outputs (MIMO) system which is difficult to implement for the mobile terminals due to the limitations of the complexity, size and cost. So, these companies have been looking for a system which emulates a MIMO system. the cooperative relaying system has been proposed as a solution to be used to take the advantages of MIMO. the cooperative relaying system enables single antenna mobiles in a multi user environment to share their antennas and generate a virtual multiple antenna transmitters. In this paper, we investigate a single relay system that aims for a reliable communication. the main goal of this paper is to study the feasibility of the proposed single relay cooperative transmission in the mobile environment, and evaluate it with respect to the direct link transmission. Both systems are presented and a comparison in terms of bit error rate (BER) reveals that the single relay system performs better. the proposed single relay system needs an efficient coding technique to improve the performance in terms of reliability. therefore, STBC as a coding technique is used, and the results proved that this technique decreases the BER.

Traditional sensor networks communicate all data to a central repository for collection and analysis. the data volumes are low so this works: data are moved. Multimedia sensor networks for environmental monitoring present a different scenario. Volumes of data are large and sensors may be located in areas of limited or poor connectivity. Typical cloud solutions do not work. In this paper we present techniques we have used to collect and analyse data from distributed sensors. these include moving some or all data, moving data summaries and moving computation. Where networked bandwidth is low we employ sneaker net to move data from sensors to servers and from servers to volunteers for analysis, in much the same way as advocated by Gray and Szalay. © 2011 IEEE.

Future generation wireless networks must support different wireless technologies, such as UMTS and WLAN. the integration of existing and emerging heterogeneous wireless networks requires the smooth integration of different networks. in the heterogeneous environment. Under Mobile IP, interconnection crossing different types of networks can be implemented in lower layers. Generally, those Mobile IP based schemes have long handover delay. HIP is a new proposed protocol on mobility management and it offers more efficient vertical handover for wireless devices. In this paper, a HIP based architecture is proposed in heterogeneous networks. the vertical handover process has much lower delay and cost compared with Mobile IP based solutions. © 2011 IEEE.

At present, the population is increasing day by day. Our traditional methods and human efforts are insufficient to meet the needs of every patient. As every patient needs continuous monitoring of their health status. At present, the observation of a patient's health is very important, and this monitored data is connected to a cloud and can alert the doctor by forwarding a message. Physicians can monitor patients' or elderly people's health conditions from a remote area by using the internet of things (IoT). And also, medical services can be provided to sick people or patients from remote areas based on their daily health status. With the wide range of sensors like pulses, heartbeat, blood pressure, ECG, and temperature sensors along with IoT, such system provides a sophisticated control for continuous monitoring of the health conditions of patients. the goal of this study is to provide a detailed investigation of the IoT health monitoring system that are in the literature. the various existing system is compared and contrasted based on the efficiency and its accuracy. the advantages and disadvantages of the system along with the experimental aspects are available in the comparative results. © 2022 IEEE.

Blockchain is the technology on which cryptocurrencies operate within the 6G internet of things. Due to its flexibility, it has received significant adoption in numerous applications as a possible distributed data management solution. Nonetheless, a significant obstacle that impedes blockchain's potential is its constrained scalability, which limits its capacity to facilitate applications requiring frequent transactions. Conversely, edge computing, an innovative technology, addresses the limitations of conventional cloud-based systems by decentralizing cloud functionalities and alleviating problems such as elevated latency and insufficient security. Nonetheless, edge computing presently encounters challenges related to decentralized governance and security. As a result, the integration of blockchain and edge computing within a cohesive framework offers substantial benefits, such as dependable network access and governance, decentralized storage, and computing at the peripheries. this integration effectively mitigates many security problems and guarantees data integrity in edge computing contexts. this article offers a comprehensive analysis of blockchain technology, its attributes, and its relevance in the context of 6G. Additionally, it investigates the amalgamation of blockchain and edge computing, analyzes diverse application cases, and addresses the related issues. Finally, the report delineates contemporary research trajectories and draws conclusions based on the findings. © 2024 IEEE.
