In recent years, Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) has been developed rapidly and has demonstrated many new capabilities, which poses a challenge to the testing methods of autonomous ships. Currently, traditional test methods is no longer sufficient to support comprehensive testing and verification. For virtual testing, there is still a lack of a reliable virtual test scenario generation process. therefore, this paper proposes a method for generating virtual test scenarios for autonomous ships. It is based on the scenario generation frame of the intelligent car and comprehensively considers the feature of the operating environment of the MASS. this process develops an element database by deconstructing the real scenes. For generating, it reconstructs and assigns the elements according to the test task (functional scenario) and the logical relationship between the elements (logical scenario) to reconstruct the new scenario. the new scenarios obtained in this way are optimized and supplemented to be the test scenarios database. In addition, a prototype following this frame was designed and loaded with the "automatic pathfinding task of the Wuhan section of the Yangtze River under good navigation conditions" for testing. the experiment generated 48 different scenarios, proving that this generator can output a comprehensive test scenario database to meet test requirements. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

this paper uses machine learning to assess Corporate Social Responsibility spending trends on the Indian automobile sector between 2016 and 2021. Simply put, the aim of the research is to recognize trends and patterns in sustainability expenditures. More specifically, the study examines how businesses allocate money across the three important aspects of the sustainability report: People, Planet, and Profit Purcell, 2020. the research is based on a largely industry-based database obtained from public companies' records. the use of advanced statistical techniques, such as machine learning and random forest modeling, enables one to examine the impact of financial allocations on sustainability achievements. Increments in CSR spending are related to enhanced company sustainability performance in terms of correlation outcomes. the paper also recognizes areas where cost cuts have the best returns, as well as shortfalls in the existing CSR approach, offering a strategy for possible development's. © 2024 IEEE.

Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is the only Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (MKG) data provider with a single data center. Data collection for MKG information services needs to be fast, precise, and accurate on both a national and international scale. By providing a single data provider, the BMKG database center facilitates and speeds up MKG data and information services. However, BMKG has no system for understanding the quantity of MKG data in the database or for obtaining information about MKG data periods that are not currently available. Accordingly, the BMKG database center intends on building an application or system that can detect how complete data is. thus, the monitoring system of the availability of MKG data can assist the database center by completing incomplete data. It provides complete information on metadata based on stations and the availability of data in the database management system. © 2022 IEEE.

When it comes to the musical instrument, an important part in traditional Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage, the inheritance and promotion still leave much to be desired. As things stand, the inheritance and protection of musical instruments of ethnic minorities are in urgent need of improvement. Hence, in this project, a virtual instrument platform is designed and put in to use, where users can learn to play ethnic musical instruments. this project is expected to develop an APP compatible with both Android & iOS, with illustrations of 3D models of ethnic musical instruments, by using standard HTML5 or AVm. JS technology;Mysql database is created after which access to database through APP pages is possible. this mobile app, centering on ethnic musical instruments-the intangible culture, is developed featuring multi-simulation human-computer interaction and science promotion function, in which users can play virtual musical instruments with mobile phone soft keyboard. Nowadays, the cost of ethnic musical instruments is generally expensive, and some are so exorbitant that a trial in person is not available and not suitable for all. Meanwhile, there are few such display platforms, which makes the aforementioned experience even harder to reach. this project combines musical instruments with the Internet, which virtualizes the operation as if users were playing the real instruments, thus bringing convenience to them. the main purpose is to publicize the ethnic musical instruments and to carry forward ethnic culture. © 2022 IEEE.

the proliferation of data analytics has led to a vast application of data visualization and storytelling in a variety of disciplines extending across banking, sports to healthcare. Data, information, and knowledge are transformed into interactive visual representations that convey a meaningful story. In big data analytics, relevant and high-quality graphical insights ought to be factually accurate and relevant to make a key decision. Data storytelling has become an effective way to apply information visualization as it can enhance communication effectiveness. Using visualization as a tool to enhance narrative for the viewers in enforcing data storytelling as a way to understand data and information. Findings suggest that an individual's personality variations correspond strongly with a user's preference toward visual design styles for visualization and storytelling. this paper investigates previous studies regarding personality, information visualization, narrative, and storytelling, as well as their interrelationships through online databases. the future direction of the present study. © 2022 IEEE.

Following the evolution of technology, researchers have conducted several studies to propose reliable scholarship recommender systems. However, few have explored the data storage systems, which are highly beneficial to collect huge volumes of real data in training the recommender systems. In this paper, a database design for collecting such data was proposed, equipped with integer encodings for categorical variables and a method to normalize variables with varying ranges. Using Connoly and Begg's database design method, the final design consisted of a normalized Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and data dictionaries. the design was also constructed to support usages of various data for determining scholarship recipients, including education history, achievements, and organizational experiences. the proposed design can be implemented on information systems to allow easier information access for scholarships in Indonesia. © 2022 IEEE.

Mobile telecommunication services are becoming increasingly popular because of rapid technological advancements, especially in the areas of service development and fulfilment of customer requirements. Undoubtedly, mobile telecommunications have become a profitable but fiercely competitive industry. the key to survival in this competitive market lies in knowing customers better and retaining every valuable customer. Due to the advancement in database technology and the availability of huge amounts of customer data, marketers have started to utilize powerful data mining tools in direct marketing to delve deeper into their customers' nature and habits. this strategy enables them to personalize marketing and promotional information which they can then send to their customers. there are mainly two types of data mining techniques used in practice: supervised learning and unsupervised learning. In this study, the main research objective is focused on the use of unsupervised learning techniques to support personalized direct marketing activities in the mobile telecommunication industry. the study includes empirical studies using both existing technologies and theoretical development of novel methodologies in the field of data mining and marketing. Our analysis was important to the marketers of mobile telecommunications. Our approaches can be adopted in actual practice to discover behavioural patterns of customers so that services can be designed to better fit their needs. Marketers can also monitor customers' behavioural changes so that they can make strategic decisions beforehand and, subsequently, retain valuable customers. the methods adopted and proposed in our research may inspire new studies on issues such as how to evaluate and interpret clustering results, how to identify changes in customers' behavioural patterns using clustering techniques, and how to combine clustering and classification tools more efficiently. © 2022 IEEE.

the launch of StuntingDB is believed to enliven the role of database management systems (DBMS) in Indonesia's stunting research. However, a novelty in stunting data management that enables parallel project activation in multiple observation areas is necessary. Several improved functionalities in StuntingDB must be designed to prevent the high demand for accessibility in the middle of stunting research. Connolly and Begg's principle of database design is adopted along with Software Development Life Cycle's Waterfall model for creating a continuous development of the system. this research produces a new database design in the form of Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Use Case Diagram to help system developers realizing a new version of StuntingDB for stunting research in several observation areas. © 2022 IEEE.

Data compression is a common feature of current information processing and has a broad range of uses. Audio compression is critical in database applications such as storage and transmission. the difficulty of lowering the number of bits required to represent digital audio is addressed via audio compression. It is used to reduce redundancy by reducing irrelevant and redundant data. Recent developments in deep learning have motivated researchers to investigate challenges involving highly structured data utilizing unified deep network models. Due to the necessity for discrete representations that are difficult to train, the construction and design of such models for compressing audio signals have proven difficult. the purpose of this study is to concentrate on quantum neural networks for compressing audio files. As a result, a quantum-based autoencoder capable of compressing audio data into a low-dimensional space is critical for achieving automatic audio compression, and in the decoder part, it decompresses the quantum audio signals by using deconvolution layers. Finally, the quantum representation of audio signals retrieves the original signals. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

the article proposes an approach to organizing a database for storing and processing the results of experiments on conducting isoprene polymerization in the presence of microheterogeneous catalytic systems in a batch mode. the proposed approach can be applied to systematic work with data from both production and computational experiments. the implementation approach will automate the process of recording data in a database that will facilitate their structuring. © 2021 IEEE.
