Calixarenes are good carriers for cations, anions and neutral molecules because they are cyclic, can be easily derivatized, and can create molecular sizes of different sizes. Due to these properties, they have a very wide application area [1]. the use of calixarenes obtained by functioning with different functional groups in the transport and release of drugs takes place in the literature. In this study, p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene derivatives with p-nitrobenzyl functional group and then nanofibers of those new synthesis was obtained by using electrospinning method. Produced calixarene nanofiber primary breast cancer cell application [2,3].

this paper presents result analysis of K-Mediod algorithm, implemented on Hadoop Cluster by using Map-Reduce concept. Map-Reduce are programming models which authorize the managing of huge datasets in parallel, on a large number of devices. It is especially well suited to constant or moderate changing set of data since the implementation point of a position is usually high. MapReduce is supposed to be framework of "big data". the MapReduce model authorizes for systematic and instant organizing of large scale data with a cluster of evaluate nodes. One of the primary affect in Hadoop is how to minimize the completion length (i.e., make span) of a set of MapReduce duty. For various applications like word count, grep, terasort and parallel K-Mediod Clustering Algorithm, it has been observed that as the number of node increases, execution time decreases. In this paper we verified Map Reduce applications and found as the amount of nodes increases the completion time decreases.

Contingency screening and ranking are one of the most important issues for security assessment in the field of power system operation. the objective of contingency ranking is to quickly and accurately select the short list of critical contingencies from the large list of potential contingencies and rank them according to the severity. Contingency ranking is done on basis of calculation of Performance Index (PI), which measures the system deviation from the normal or steady state by identifying transmission line overloads as well as voltage limit violations at buses. In electric power systems, assignment of weighting factors to each bus and transmission line depends on the importance of specific bus and transmission line during power system operation. However, it is observed that while using weighted performance index, the weighting factor is assumed to be equal for all transmission lines, and generator outages, which leads to mis-ranking of potential contingencies. In this paper, an attempt is undertaken to adjust the appropriate and unequal weighting factors, in order to provide more accurate and realistic contingency ranking. Optimization of weighting factor is done using Quadratic programming for IEEE 14 and 30 bus systems.

the intuition of the power companies is to supply quality power to the consumers with reduced line losses. Reduction of transmission and Distribution line losses is a great challenge for most of the developing countries. this paper demonstrates the network reconfiguration in a practical low voltage Indian utility Distribution Feeder. Various configurations are suggested and the real power losses are computed using General Algebric Modeling System (CAMS), Mixed Integer Linear programming (MILP) CPLEX solver. Load balancing is done for mitigation of voltage profile at the highly loaded nodes. Load flow analysis is performed through Forward / Backward Sweep analysis, which is more suitable for the radial system. Real power loss and voltage at nodes are compared and presented before and after network reconfiguration. this paper emphasizes the importance of network reconfiguration for developing countries like India.

Keystroke dynamics is the study to identify/authenticate a person based on his/her typing rhythms, which are inferred from keystroke events like key-press and key-release. A lot of research work has been done in this field where the researchers have used either only alphabetic or alphanumeric or only numeric inputs. In this paper we address the question What is the best possible numeric input for authentication using keystroke dynamics. We accomplished this by making the users enter four different numbers. Each number consisted of 8-digits. Out of these four numbers two were random numbers while the other two were formed using digits which had some pattern to them. Random Forest and Naive Bayes were used as classifiers. the results showed that using Random Forest classifier yielded best results when a random number is taken as input. the study also proved that a combination of hold time and latency as features yielded improved results. We achieved an average false acceptance rate of 2.7% and false rejection rate of 35.9%.

the consumption of Linked Data has dramatically increased with the increasing momentum towards semantic web. Linked data is essentially a very simplistic format for representation of knowledge in that all the knowledge is represented as triples which can be linked using one or more components from the triple. To date, most of the efforts has been towards either creating linked data by mining the web or making it available for users as a source of knowledgebase for knowledge engineering applications. In recent times there has been a growing need for these applications to interact with users in a natural language which required the transformation of the linked data knowledge into a natural language. the aim of the RealText project described in this paper, is to build a scalable framework to transform Linked Data into natural language by generating lexicalization patterns for triples. A lexicalization pattern is a syntactical pattern that will transform a given triple into a syntactically correct natural language sentence. Using DBpedia as the Linked Data resource, we have generated 283 accurate lexicalization patterns for a sample set of 25 ontology classes. We performed human evaluation on a test sub-sample with an inter-rater agreement of 0.86 and 0.80 for readability and accuracy respectively. this results showed that the lexicalization patterns generated language that are accurate, readable and emanates qualities of a human produced language.

We aim to solve the OPF problem by defining contingency scenarios involved in the optimization problem by means of a SDP relaxation. Contingency scenarios are performed for the IEEE 39-bus system. Contingency analyses are performed by generation and line losses. Contingency scenarios are considered to be possible events. these events may be single contingencies, such as a generation unit failures or transmission line failures, or they may be double contingencies. Transmission line contingencies occur with the loss of critical lines of the transmission grid on the system. After single or multiple contingencies occur, it is required to shed some load, drop or trip the generation, or trip transmission lines for maintaining secure grid operations. In our contingency scenarios, we basically determine the appropriate amount of load to be shed. the SDP based OPF problem is tested for feasible transactions and generation dispatches in the system. if such action is feasible, the global optimal solution of the SDP-based OPF problem is guaranteed. In addition, the impact of worst-case contingency is examined for our test system. the amount of load shedding required is thus obtained.

Despite the breadth of related work, enabling end-users of varying technical ability to leverage sensor data to control their Internet of things (IoT)-enabled installations remains a challenge. this work proposes a unified interface that provides three building blocks to support the end-user configuration of IoT environments: capturing higher-level events in the installation through virtual sensors, construction of automation rules with a visual overview of the current configuration and support for sharing configuration between end-users using a recommendation mechanism.

the data acquisition and control system (DACS) implementation for laboratory plasma experiments is a challenging task, develops gradually over time due to the: (a) rapidly evolving requirements driven by the new findings, (b) application of new ideas to the experiments, (c) interaction of the software with the specialized hardware and (d) time scales of measurement and controls. this motivates development of software based on flexible and modular architecture for the scientific computing. We have broadly classified it as: (a) base design dealing with specialized measurement hardware and (b) application design for system testing and experimentation. the role of object oriented software engineering (OOSE) is important so that developed software components could be effectively utilized by applications. the OOSE on LabVIEW graphical programming platform is a new and evolving paradigm. A demonstration of it, is achieved in Large Volume Plasma Device (LVPD) utilizing high speed PXIe bus based instrumentation using hybrid approach of OOSE and data flow programming. the LVPD is a pulsed plasma device involved in pursuing investigations ranging from excitation of wave packets of whistler time scales, relevant to space plasmas to understanding of plasma instability and transport due to electron temperature gradient (ETG) driven turbulence, relevant for fusion plasmas. the development of DACS effectively handles high acquisition cards on PXIe bus, data streaming, high channel count system design and synchronized behavior on the backplane bus. Application development include development of applications highlighting pulsed operation and data visualization including development of oscilloscope for raw and process data visualization. this paper will discuss the requirements, object oriented design, development, testing, results and lessons learned from this initiative.

In order to apply an industrial manipulator to grind or polish an unknown work piece, many robot tool points must be taught manually. this programming procedure could be complex if the work piece has arbitrary surfaces meanwhile its digital 3D model is unknown. In this paper, an automatic path planning for unknown work piece grinding is proposed using the 3D point cloud of the work piece. the surface defects are firstly recognized, then the relevant 3D point clouds are reconstructed using a real-time structure light based 3D scanner. the grinding path can be generated after the surface fitting using the point cloud. the manipulator force control is applied to keep a uniform grinding force and remedy the error of the surface fitting. We set up a test platform of the automatic grinding system, including a 3D scanner and an industrial manipulator. the experimental result proves that the proposed technique can realize automatic robotic programming of unknown work piece and has the potential for practical applications.
