In order to improve the cooperative detection performance of multi-UUV searching task in unknown waters, it is necessary to optimize the UUV formation. Firstly, the linear array with fast and convenient layout is selected as the optimal formation, and the Fermi model is adopted as the detection model considering that the detection probability varies with the detection distance. Secondly, the detection coverage and detection continuity are quantitatively transformed and the optimization function is obtained. Finally, the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the objective function. the simulation results show that the UUV formation cooperative detection effect optimized by the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is improved, which can provide technical support for multi-UUV cooperative detection formation optimization.

Evaluation of group support is a complex task and its design must be carefully planned in order to produce useful results. Many factors may influence evaluation design, some of which have been suggested in the literature. However, in a particular evaluation context, additional factors may arise, influencing and even compromising the evaluation design. We argue that preliminary evaluations must be performed before they are conducted in a real setting in order to verify if its design will provide the expected measurements and results. this paper presents the evaluation process of awareness information resources within software diagram peer reviews. the paper describes the evaluation context, objectives, plan and design together with enactment of a preliminary case study following this design. From this preliminary study, we outline issues that arose during its enactment that influenced refinement of the evaluation design.

In this research, we use intuitionistic fuzzy programming to bring insight into transportation planning decision-making processes, namely multi-objective optimization (MOO). Considerations for transportation time and prices are made in the case study, which entails moving things from one location to another. In order to improve the model’s capacity to deal with uncertainty, the supply and demand parameters are represented using crisp parameters. With the goal of simultaneously minimizing time and overall cost, the study interacts MOO with crisp data. Our solution is shown to be feasible by means of a hypothetical numerical issue. With linear membership as well as non-membership functions in particular, the transportation planning problem is tackled and solved. As a result of offering decision-makers with thorough solutions that successfully balance many objectives, the results highlight the effectiveness of the intuitionistic fuzzy programming technique in addressing real-world transportation planning difficulties.

Since single robot has great limitations in executing tasks and is difficult to meet the market demand, the dual robot control system has become a research hotspot. this paper starts from solving the problems of complex cooperative motion programming and obstacle avoidance of dual-robot. In order to solve the problems of complex programming and obstacle avoidance for cooperative movement of dual-robot, a control system for cooperative movement of dual-robot with clear logic and simple programming is designed. this paper firstly analyzes the kinematics of dual-robot and solves the inverse kinematics to accurately control the robot, then a dual-robot control system with two ABB-IRB1410 robots as the research object and PLC-300 as the upper machine is designed. the offline programming workstation of the robot is built based on Robotstudio software. the joint Angle of the carrying position of dual-robot is calculated by solving the inverse kinematics, and the collaborative carrying is programmed by using the linear motion instruction of the MoveL robot. the linear motion instruction can make the end actuator of the robot move according to the given trajectory. the end attitude of dual-robot is consistent in the process of handling, and only 6 position points are used in the program to complete the workpiece handling, and simulation and experiment are carried out. the experimental results show that the dual-robot cooperative handling control and the system operation is stable, which is beneficial to further simplify the system design of dual-robot cooperative handling.

Efficient data compression methods are critical for optimizing storage, accelerating data transfer, and improving system performance. this study gives a comprehensive comparison of three data compression algorithms: Run-Length Encoding (RLE), Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW), and Burrows-Wheeler Transform (BWT). Each technique was assessed in terms of time efficiency, geographical complexity, and feasibility. According to our findings, LZW typically outperforms other approaches, although RLE and BWT perform very well in some cases. We thoroughly evaluate each algorithm to identify its merits, limitations, and potential areas for development.

the load restoration scheme of bulk power systems suffering outages faces significant challenges due to the aftermath of natural disasters. the probability of transmission lines tripping again in the load restoration process after disasters is notably higher than that under normal operating conditions. this aspect, however, has not been thoroughly explored in existing research. this paper proposes a load restoration strategy for bulk power systems considering worst-case contingencies. the proposed strategy comprises a master problem and a bi-level based subproblem. In the master problem, a load restoration model is introduced to minimize outage losses based on the worst contingencies identified by the subproblem. the subproblem is modeled as a bi-level second-order cone programming (SOCP) model and its objective is to minimize load shedding costs to identify the worst contingency. By using duality theory, we reformulate the bi-level model into a single-level one, rendering the subproblem solvable. the IEEE 30-bus system is employed to verify the effectiveness of the developed models and strategy.

the adoption of Internet of things (loT) in government offices is on the rise to enhance clean and transparent services. the implementation of loT devices facilitates the retrieval of essential documents from government offices without direct staff interaction, reducing the risk of integrity and ethical violations through loT -based retrieval lockers. However, like other loT developments, bidirectional communication between servers and loT devices is often necessary. Traditional HTTP protocols fall short to meet this demand, leading to inefficient practices such as frequent server requests, and draining device resources unnecessarily. this article explores the suitability of Server-Sent Events in HTTP/2 and MQTT protocols as alternatives. It examines their strengths, weaknesses, and programming complexities for loT developers. the study compares the viability of Server-Sent Events in HTTP/2 and MQTT as solutions. Results indicate that while MQTT is suitable for communication needs, Server-Sent Events in HTTP/2 utilizes less infrastructure and less complexity, making it the optimal choice for implementing communication between loT devices and servers.

the Zr62Cu22Al10Fe5Dy1 bulk metallic glass (BMG) was subjected to high pressure torsion (HPT) at room temperature and at 150 °C. XRD shows a shift of first amorphous halo towards a low angles, which corresponds to an increase in the first coordination sphere radius and an increase in free volume content approximately by 0.44 % and 0.74 % after HPT processing at temperatures of 20 and 150 °C, respectively. Direct density measurements revealed that HPT at 20 °C and 150 °C leads to a decrease in the density values by 2.1% and 1 %, respectively, in comparison with the initial state. Value of density decrease for state HPT 150 °C estimated by direct density measurements is close to value of free volume increase estimated by shift of first amorphous halo. © 2018 Web Portal IOP. With the development of in-vehicle network (IVN) technology, the real-time performance and reliability of vehicle Ethernet become very important. Time-sensitive network (TSN) has become a new technical solution for vehicle Ethernet because of its high accuracy of data transmission. To solve the problem of low scheduling efficiency and poor real-time transmission in traffic scheduling in TSN, the optimization of traffic scheduling time is studied in the network from the aspect of scheduling algorithm. Firstly, the time slot scheduling model of time-sensitive flows is established. then, a hybrid scheduling strategy considering traffic routing and traffic scheduling optimization is designed. In the routing strategy, the ant colony algorithm is designed to optimize the traffic transmission path. In the scheduling strategy, a time planning model is established and the global scheduling schedule is optimized by mixed integer programming algorithm. Finally, the traffic scheduling simulation and gated scheduling experiment verify that the proposed scheduling optimization algorithm can significantly improve the efficiency and real-time performance of traffic scheduling in vehicle TSN.

Retrofitting coal-fired power plants (CPPs) is a way to accommodate ever-increasing variable renewable energy (VRE) in coal-dominated power systems in countries like China and India. Yet, how to retrofit the CPPS cost-effectively is an important issue to address. this paper proposes a multi-objective two-stage planning approach based on the none-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA II). It considers both economic and flexibility requirements for the power system. At the planning stage, optimal technical options considering investment constraints and technical constraints are generated. At the operation stage, a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) based model considering the detailed start-up and shut-down processes of the CPP is established. then the optimal solution is selected from the Pareto solution set using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Finally, case studies demonstrate the proposed approaches and show the potential of retrofitting CPPs to enhance power system flexibility.
