In the last decade, static analysis has been gaining more and more ground as it is a powerful method to detect errors in software code early during development. However, most tools primarily focus on the application layer and therefore try to enforce the use of higher-level abstractions. these design decisions often result in low-level code being marked as dangerous. In this paper, we examine the effect of static analysers’ design on their applicability for system software, where direct access to hardware resources requires the use of very low-level methods. these codes, while idiomatic for the field, are considered as “hacks” or dangerous constructs by static analysers, resulting in an increased number of false positives. We present the list of Clang Static Analyzer, Clang-Tidy, and Cppcheck checkers which we observed to produce low false positive rate for system software. Based on these observations, we suggest developers to use these checks, as they can be efficiently used to detect real bugs. We implemented our suggestions as an analysis profile in the CodeChecker static analysis driver framework.

A variety of life forms that exist in the natural world, have been created evolving an efficient action rules for their own survival and the species of prosperity. And the attention from a variety of survival principle of these life forms, called Bio-Inspired Algorithm to be applied to create the algorithm so as to be able to be applied in an environment other than the natural world. Natural environment itself has been included in various uncertain change, by that effects of problems how to efficiently utilize the limited resources environment, these Bio-Inspired Algorithm, can provide a rapid adaptability to the conversion of the application environment, resources stably can provide scalability adaptability in constrained environment, can provide numerous advantages in terms of interoperability. When such a Bio-Inspired Algorithms try to apply in terms of the network, in the former case, indicates that it is possible to easily provide an autonomous network configuration, in the latter case, resources such as IoT environment it is possible to provide the interoperability of a constraint type of environment. thus, it is studied to connect to the network this Bio-Inspired Algorithm, recent field of networking research issues and act in complementary, can provide a synergistic effect. Establishing efficient caching in the data plane is crucial for the performance of packet forwarding for network function virtualization(NFV). For switches that provide network functions such as forwarding, routing, and firewall, the on-chip memory in the data plane is closest to the packet processing logic. However, due to hardware constraints or limitations in the programming model, the programmability and memory access capabilities of data plane caching in many network devices, such as programmable switches, smart network cards, and DPUs, are often restricted. As a result, most existing data plane caches rely on simple and inefficient replacement strategies. In this paper, an analysis of the limitations in programmability of the data plane is conducted, and an algorithm with bit-slice operators is proposed to determine the update and eviction strategy for each item in the cache array. Leveraging the principles of limited associativity design, the storage structure of the ternary match kind identifier (TCAM) table is optimized due to constraints on the number of mask bits. Efficient utilization of cache hits is achieved by setting timestamps and packet flow identifiers in registers. Experimental results demonstrate that our caching strategy exhibits significant improvements in hit rate and latency performance compared to some previously proposed approaches.

Graphs have become popular for modeling scientific data in recent years. As a result, techniques for mining graphs are extremely important for understanding inherent data and domain characteristics. One such exploratory mining paradigm is the k-MST (minimum spanning tree over k vertices) problem that can be used to discover significant local substructures. In this paper, we present an efficient approximation algorithm for the k-MST problem in large graphs. the algorithm has an O (k~(1/2)) approximation ratio and O(n log n + m log m log k + nk~2 log k) running time, where n and m are the number of vertices and edges respectively. Experimental results on synthetic graphs and protein interaction networks show that the algorithm is scalable to large graphs and useful for discovering biological pathways. the highlight of the algorithm is that it offers both analytical guarantees and empirical evidence of good running time and quality.

the market for stacked die and stacked packages is driven by portable applications that require extremely small form factors. System-in-package (SiP) has grown out of the need to incorporate increased functionality in smaller spaces. System-in-package (SiP) is a functional system or subsystem assembled into a single package. It contains two or more dissimilar die, typically combined with other components such as passives, filters, antennas, and/or mechanical parts. the components are mounted together on a substrate to create a customized, highly integrated product for a given application. SiPs may utilize a combination of advanced packaging including bare die (wire bond or flip chip), prepackaged ICs such as CSPs, stacked packages, and/or stacked die. Stacked die packages are one form of SiP and continue to see double-digit growth. the first stacked packages utilized in market applications contained only memory, but logic devices are being increasingly added. While the thinnest packages (important for mobile phones) feature bare die stacked inside the package, issues of bare die availability, logics, and test have resulted in a number of stacked package configurations. the typical mobile phone contains multiple stacked die CSPs, including some SiP (both memory and logic). SiPs are also found in personal digital assistants (PDAs), digital cameras and camcorders, laptop computers, and other portable products. SiPs are increasingly found in the RF, digital baseband, and transceiver sections of mobile phones. Some of these structures are planar constructions and several incorporate integrated passive substrates. SiP applications also include medical electronics such as smart pills and implantable devices, defense electronics, and aerospace applications. While these applications represent smaller unit volumes they represent higher value-added modules. Determination of technically and economically feasible design solutions for power distribution networks remains an urgent task of the electric power industry. Existing design methods, both manual and software, do not allow to fully automate the process and do not take into account distributed energy sources. the article proposes an algorithm for the automatic synthesis of the optimal structure and parameters of the electrical network scheme. To implement the algorithm the method of dynamic programming with ‘collapsing’ of solutions was used, which allowed to significantly reduce the search space and increase the efficiency of calculations. the software implementation of the algorithm was performed in the Java programming language with visualization of the obtained solutions using the *** package. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach, computational experiments were carried out on a 13-node scheme of the distribution network. Two tasks were considered: design of a new electrical network and development of the existing electrical network using the algorithm of automatic synthesis of the optimal solution for the power system on the basis of dynamic programming. Various scenarios including different network configurations and substation nominal voltage levels were analyzed in the experiments. the results showed that the proposed algorithm allows to efficiently find optimal solutions, taking into account both technical and economic aspects.

the android mobile remote control smart car uses App Inventor as the mobile terminal development platform and Keil C as the single-chip computer terminal development platform. the mobile phone sends information to the Bluetooth module, and the bluetooth module sends the received information to the single chip microcomputer(SCM) through the serial port, and the SCM controls the car according to the information driven motor. By testing, the car can receive signals from the mobile phone and turn left, right, forward, backward and stop flexibly.

Insoftware development, there are various problems for which union types are a suitable solution. In $\mathbf{C}$, and in the earlier $\mathrm{C}++$ versions only untagged unions were available. $\mathbf{C}++17$ introduced the standard library class std::variant as a tagged union type. A tagged union keeps track of the type of the last inserted object. Variants are safer, as they offer various compile-time and runtime mechanisms to guard against misuse. However, it is not impossible to make mistakes with them. In this paper, we surveyed seven large, open source projects, that use std::variant. the purpose of the survey was (1) to understand how $\mathrm{C}++$ projects are using tagged unions, (2) what programming errors can be made with them, and (3) in what way the application of static analysis tools could facilitate the creation of safer code. We observed that variants are used for a wide range of tasks, including network communications, giving alternative implementations to classes, or even in a mechanism reminiscent of inheritance. We learned that values are retrieved from variants in almost all various standard-provided manners except for exceptions. Based on our observations we specified and implemented an open source static analysis checker to detect one of the most critical variant-related problems occurring in $\mathrm{C}++$ programs.
