To solve the problem of voltage exceeding limits when high permeability photovoltaic is connected to low-voltage distribution networks, this paper proposes a centralized-local control strategy based on photovoltaic-storage combined power generation unit. In the centralized control stage, the objective function is to minimize grid loss and photovoltaic active power reduction, and the output of the photovoltaic-storage combined power generation unit is used as a decision variable to achieve global optimization. In the local control stage, an improved droop control is adopted to ensure that voltage violations can still be mitigated even when the photovoltaic and load power deviate from the predicted data. Finally, a 21-node low-voltage distribution network is used for simulation, and the results show that the proposed control strategy can effectively solve the problem of voltage exceeding limits and ensure the economic operation of the distribution network.

Both reliability and economy have an impact on the safe and stable operation of power systems. In the risk-optimized allocation model of peak standby within a single control window based on the economic cost-performance ratio sequential method of the improved control measures, a backtracking optimization algorithm for the start-stop path of peak standby in the full control cycle is proposed. Based on the optimized start-stop path scheme of the unit as the baseline path of the unit, the start-stop path of the peak standby unit at this position is backtracked and optimized to achieve the optimization objective of the optimal objective function for the full regulation cycle.

Taxi carpooling plays an important role in crowd evacuation from transportation hubs such as airports and railway stations. To encourage taxi carpooling in these transportation hubs, a ride-sharing matching model considering passenger personalized preferences is proposed. At first, combining the characteristics of taxi carpooling in transportation hubs, a taxi sharing pricing model is constructed by comprehensively considering the sharing distance and detour distance of passengers, as well as the interests of passengers and drivers. And then, according to the personalized requirements of passengers, a taxi carpooling matching algorithm is designed to recommend carpooling partners and routes for drivers and passengers, aiming to maximize the system matching rate and minimize passenger travel costs. the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the rational use of traffic resources, reduce the operating costs of taxis, and minimize passenger travel expenses while meeting the personalized needs of passengers.

To operate a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in the field-weakening region, the voltage closed loop is the most common method with strong robustness and stability. However, the coefficients tuning of the additional PI regulator is a complex work because of no suitable theory. Also, it stills lead to instability if the coefficients are not appropriate. To solve it, a direct look-up table method is proposed for PMSM field-weakening control without using additional PI regulator. through the relation of speed, torque and $\boldsymbol{d}-\mathbf{axis}$ current, a look-up table is designed to generate the required $\boldsymbol{d}-\mathbf{axis}$ current reference, which can be adjusted dynamically according to different operation conditions. Compared to the traditional one, the proposed method has better current rapidity and stability to some extent, which is verified through experiments.

Insoftware development, there are various problems for which union types are a suitable solution. In $\mathbf{C}$, and in the earlier $\mathrm{C}++$ versions only untagged unions were available. $\mathbf{C}++17$ introduced the standard library class std::variant as a tagged union type. A tagged union keeps track of the type of the last inserted object. Variants are safer, as they offer various compile-time and runtime mechanisms to guard against misuse. However, it is not impossible to make mistakes with them. In this paper, we surveyed seven large, open source projects, that use std::variant. the purpose of the survey was (1) to understand how $\mathrm{C}++$ projects are using tagged unions, (2) what programming errors can be made with them, and (3) in what way the application of static analysis tools could facilitate the creation of safer code. We observed that variants are used for a wide range of tasks, including network communications, giving alternative implementations to classes, or even in a mechanism reminiscent of inheritance. We learned that values are retrieved from variants in almost all various standard-provided manners except for exceptions. Based on our observations we specified and implemented an open source static analysis checker to detect one of the most critical variant-related problems occurring in $\mathrm{C}++$ programs.

A Binary Integer Linear Programing (BILP) model was used to find the Fuzzy Critical Path (FCP) of a fuzzy project network, when the lengths of all activities are represented as Octagonal Fuzzy Numbers (OFN). Although there are many methods to solve the fuzzy network problems, this paper presents the simplest method for the purpose of estimating the CP, especially, when every path activity is expressed by an OFN in the fuzzy network problems. the OFN of each activity converted to the crisp one using a modified ranking approach. A numerical example of a fuzzy network problem is given to illustrated the steps of the method were the OFN of each activity represented the time needed to complete implementation of that activity. the same example is solved by using CP Method (CPM). this is considered to be one of the leading standard methods of solving such problems. this paper presents a comparison of results of the two methods. © 2021 IEEE.

this paper introduces a framework to reduce operational costs in active distribution systems by utilizing battery energy storage systems. It employs a two-stage stochastic programming approach involving Here-and-Now and Wait-and-See decisions. the scheduling problem is studied as a mixed-integer linear programming model in GAMS and solved using the CPLEX solver. A feeder from an active electricity distribution network is chosen to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Operating costs are evaluated under varying scenarios with and without energy storage across seasons. the research contributes to the literature by providing a comprehensive analysis of the strategic role of Battery Energy Storage System in optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing flexibility in active distribution networks. the findings underscore the critical value of energy storage in reducing costs and managing uncertainties in energy operations, as validated by the simulation results demonstrating the economic benefits of the proposed strategy.

It is widely accepted that a crucial part of learning is practicing. this is also true for computer programming courses. Students develop advanced skills and understand what they have learned better through practice. the more they practice, the more skillful they become. However, with hundreds of students in a class, an instructor may not be able to check the outcomes of student practice thoroughly nor give sufficient and timely feedback on practice to each student. An easily accessible learning platform plays an important role in dealing with this ***, since the internet can be accessed by anyone, a web application as a learning platform was expected to be able to play this role. therefore, we developed a web application. It was intended for any student in any computer programming course: it was used by students in a programming course in King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, thailand, since 2017. No prior programming knowledge was required for students to use the application. the programming course had 10 chapters and one examination. In each chapter, students were required to code five programs on a PC in the programming laboratory and to submit the source files by uploading them via the web interface. the outputs of the submitted programs from all students were collected in a few seconds rather than minutes. If a submitted program was correct, proper scores were assigned. If not, the student's wrong source code was displayed on the application page together with test cases both of sample and students, and the student could examine effortlessly the incorrect part of his or her source code. Later, the student could modify the original source code and resubmit it, until the student has arrived at the correct code. this strategy was less stressful on students, because they could keep working on assignments at their own time and pace, until they were successful. throughout the course with 789 students in the first semester of academic year 202

Recently, with the increasing participation of renewable energy sources and the development of small grid models including grid sources (Grid), PV sources, BESS energy storage sources, generator sources (Genset), problems aimed at improving stability, power quality, and efficient use of solar energy (PV) have received significant attention. this study examines the peak load reduction problem, cost optimization using Heuristic state diagrams, optimization algorithms such as Linear programming (LP), Quadratic programming (QP). To address the issue, the system model is implemented using Simulink/Matlab to simulate a Microgrid model based on real infrastructure referenced from the power grid of Ho Chi Minh City. thus, evaluating the use of LP and QP optimization algorithms compared to the Heuristic diagram in calculating the power generation of BESS based on forecasted PV power and loads. the study aims to test LP, QP algorithms in cost optimization problems in operating Microgrids with PV and BESS.
