the project aims to develop an AI-based music recommendation system focused on Melakarta ragas and emotional themes. In the field, previous work has focused on music recommendation systems based on various techniques, but limited research has been conducted specifically on Melakarta ragas and their emotional impact. therefore, there is a gap to propose a new idea that leverages Melakarta ragas to provide personalized music recommendations aligned with users' emotional states. the objectives include preprocessing the dataset, classifying Melakarta ragas, mapping emotions to ragas, and implementing the recommendation system. the methodology involves identification of Navarasa (nine emotions) from camera input. Computer vision techniques are employed to analyze facial expressions and detect emotions such as Hasya, Karuna, Shringara, etc. these identified Navarasas are then mapped to corresponding emotional tags associated with Melakarta ragas. the recommendation system is developed to map the detected Navarasa from camera input to emotional tags and provide personalized music recommendations based on the Melakarta ragas associated with those emotions. the simulation tools used include programming languages like Python, machine learning libraries like scikit-learn and computer vision frameworks like OpenCV. the paper concentrates on majorly 6 rasas that maps with all the 72 melakarta ragas. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, there has been a rise in network attack incidents. Efficiently detecting network attack behaviors is crucial for ensuring cybersecurity in resource-limited environments. this paper proposes a lightweight intrusion detection system based on GRU (Gated Recurrent Unit). the system uses information gain and Extra Tree Classifier methods to rank and select important features. Temporal features of network traffic are extracted using gated recurrent neural networks, and classification is performed using the softmax function. To validate its effectiveness, the NSL-KDD dataset is used for evaluation, and experimental results show that the proposed model outperforms other state-of-the-art models. © 2023 IEEE.

this manuscript presents a method to program everyday manipulation tasks for a robot by human demonstration using primitive skills. the hand movement in the demonstrated task is recorded then segmented into sub-actions. Each sub-action is mapped to primitives skills of the robot. We proposed a list of necessary skills for a manipulator which are common to use in many everyday tasks. In order to adapt with the change of object's location, we applied Dynamic Movement Primitives model for regenerating movement which follows the demonstrated trajectory. In experiment, we considered the task 'dispensing water' from a water thermos pot performed by a robot arm to verify the proposed method. © 2017 IEEE.

the steel industry has witnessed a progressive increase in the electrification degree of its production process due to advancements in decarburization technology. Consequently, there will be a substantial rise in electricity usage within the steel sector. the transition in energy consumption patterns is a significant obstacle to the functioning of the power system. One of the potential methods for achieving zero-carbon steel manufacturing is through the utilization of the direct reduction iron (DRI) - electric arc furnace (EAF) production route. this particular route is characterized by its high energy consumption and intricate production load characteristics. this paper attempts to examine the demand response capabilities of power loads throughout the DRI-EAF production process. A nonlinear programming model, encompassing the DRI-EAF steel plant, is constructed in light of the dependency of each link in the DRI-EAF production process. this study aimed to examine the impact of various production plans on the possible demand response of hydrogen-based steel plants, with a focus on minimizing the operating costs of these mills. the findings indicate that the scheduling model proposed in this study effectively utilizes the scheduling benefits offered by adjustable resources in the iron and steel production process, hence facilitating the economic scheduling of iron and steel plants. © 2023 IEEE.

For electric vehicles (EV s) choosing the same target charging station, appropriate guidance for them to choose the appropriate charging pile for charging will help reduce the charging waiting time of EV users and increase the utilization rate of charging piles. In this context, a scheduling optimization method for charging piles in EV charging stations is based on Mixed Integer Linear programming (MILP). Firstly, the arrival time and charging demand of EV s choosing the same target charging station during the same scheduling optimization period, time are collected;Secondly, a scheduling optimization method is constructed with the goal of minimizing the charging waiting time of EV users and maximizing the utilization rate of charging piles, in which the non-linear constraints are transformed into linear constraints by using the method of MILP;Finally, the validity and feasibility of the proposed scheduling optimization method are verified through practical examples to illustrate the basic features of the proposed method. the results of the analyses show that the proposed method can not only save the time cost of EV users waiting for charging, but also effectively take into account the utilization rate of charging piles. © 2023 IEEE.

We investigate mca-programs, that is, logic programs with clauses built of monotone cardinality atoms of the form kX, where k is a non-negative integer and X is a finite set of propositional atoms. We develop a theory of mca-programs. We demonstrate that the operational concept of the one-step provability operator generalizes to mca-programs, but the generalization involves nondeterminism. Our main results show that the formalism of mca-programs is a common generalization of (1) normal logic programming with its semantics of models, supported models and stable models, (2) logic programming with cardinality atoms and with the semantics of stable models, as defined by Niemel¨a, Simons and Soininen, and (3) of disjunctive logic programming with the possiblemodel semantics of Sakama and Inoue. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2004.

the paper deals with the development of theoretical backgrounds to design optimal control systems for nonlinear plants with quadratic nonlinearity in right-hand expression. these backgrounds are based on solving dynamic programming problem for one class of nonlinear plants. We use ordinary differential equations in the normal matrix form to define the dynamic of the considered plant. then we apply feedback linearization transformation to rewrite the abovementioned equation as differential equations in the canonical form. the main advantage of such representation is the linear differential dependence between all state variables and only the last equation has a nonlinear function in this case. that is why we use the differential equations in the canonical form to define the perturbed motions equations and then the quadratic Lyapunov's function is defined as Newton's binomial. In this case Lyapunov's function is invariant to plant structure and parameters. the factors of this function are defined as factors of Newton's binomial. We use the defined in such a way Lyapunov function to solve dynamical programming problem and define control law as the Bellman's equation solution. the benefits of our approach are shown by considering an example of controller design for an electric drive with ventilator load. the numerical simulation shows that the designed system is asymptotically stable and has zero error. © 2023 IEEE.

the authors present an adaptive dynamic programming-based (ADP-based) scheme to solve the tracking control problems of flexible joint manipulator, which can be transformed to solve the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation. For the nominal error system, a critic neural network is established to approximate the value function and an online learning algorithm is proposed to update the weight of the critic neural network. the weight update of the critic neural network occurs at the same time as the system is running. the dynamics of the weight estimation error and the tracking error are proven to be uniformly ultimately bounded via Lyapunov method. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the performance of the present method. © 2020 IEEE.
