Moving targets on the ground would affect the radar detection performance for low-altitude, slow-moving, and small (LSS) targets. this paper proposes a transmit beam control algorithm for phased array radar to minimize the radiation directed at the ground. By minimizing weighted vector norm and implementing different notch level, the admired beam can achieve a deep notch in the region associated with ground moving targets and maintains good mainlobe and sidelobe performance. Moreover, the designed beam is insensitive to array imperfections. the optimization problem can be converted to a second-order cone programming (SOCP) problem and solved with readily available solvers. In addition, the amplitude normalization is implemented on the optimized weight vector to make full use of emission power. Simulation results verify that the proposed approach can synthesize transmit beams that can meet the requirements of mainlobe loss minimization, low sidelobes on the ground side, and deep notch for the ground moving targets. © 2022 IEEE.

Fast is the world's largest and most sensitive single-aperture radio telescope. Firstly, the ideal paraboloid is obtained in this paper by giving the two-dimensional sectional view of the main reflector and combining the known relevant geometric parameters. At the same time, considering the limitation of the adjustment range of the reflector and the possible engineering errors in the actual situation, we introduce the error correction coefficient, determine the range of the correction coefficient through the 0-1 model, and give the modified ideal paraboloid equation. then, given the angle, the vertex coordinates of the ideal paraboloid are obtained by combining the spherical equation and the point equation. the improved general ideal paraboloid equation is obtained by introducing the rotation matrix for rotation transformation. Finally, after solving the required data by MATLAB programming, the inverse tra nsformation is returned to the original spatial coordinate system, and the actual position coordinates and numbers of the corresponding main cable nodes are obtained. the Lagrange multiplier method is used to solve the expansion and contraction of the actu ator. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

Fuel is one of the most pressing issues confronting the world today, and water scarcity for urban and rural people has also been a serious issue. 60-70% of the country's electricity demand is met by burning wood and crop waste. Solar power is a renewable electricity source that uses soft solar radiation and has great potential. the use of electric energy derived from petroleum is crucial for renewable energy. Solar energy has matured into a sustainable energy option, and its use must be expanded. Solar PV panels are widely employed in dusty areas of tropical nations like as India. Dust accumulates on the front of the frame, obscuring the sun's beams. It lowers the module's ability to generate electricity. Energy production is reduced by 50% if the appliance is not cleaned for a month. the cleanup tool uses the PIC programming interface to flatten the module. To improve energy efficiency by removing dust from the panel. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper presents a novel trajectory optimization method for the 6-degrees-of-freedom powered landing problem in aerospace guidance and control. the method combines machine learning and convex optimization to achieve real-Time performance. Specifically, we formulate the powered landing problem as an optimal control problem and transform it into a convex optimization problem. To enhance the state-of-the-art sequential convex programming (SCP) algorithm, we use a deep neural network as an initial trajectory generator to provide a satisfactory initial guess for the SCP algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves precise guidance of the vehicle to the landing site. Monte Carlo tests demonstrate that it can save an average of 40.8% of the computation time compared to the SCP method. therefore, the proposed scheme is suitable for real-Time applications in the aerospace industry. © 2023 IEEE.

the World Wide Web contains a wide range of material from a variety of fields. However, when concerns towards the computer science domain, information users find on the internet may not be up-to-date due to the rapid pace of change and having to spend less time on the internet for researching and debugging tasks is an added luxury. Having an expertise level while providing answers through a platform is convenient for users, yet when a user signs into a platform, the user must start from the beginning, regardless of the level of competence in the field. Moreover, not having a proper way to evaluate the existing programming knowledge is another obstacle. To address mentioned complications, researchers of this paper have introduced a new e-learning platform- 'ProbExpert'. the platform has been constructed with machine learning and deep learning approaches such as NLP, keyword extraction, semantic information analysis, cosine similarity, and information summarization. With aforesaid technologies, ProbExpert provides systems in automated answering, optimized answer generation, structured question-based quiz evaluation together with a fully automated portfolio generation with a novel user ranking algorithm based on the bell curve. © 2022 IEEE.

the purpose of this paper is to describe the results of a photovoice evaluation of a robotics and programming project for prekindergarten (RAPP). RAPP researchers developed and implemented the program at three urban childcare centers in six teacher's classrooms. All of the teachers of prekindergarteners and rising prekindergarteners had opportunities to use the robot, KIBO, during implementation. Photovoice, using ten RAPP teachers, provided visual images as evidence and promoted sharing knowledge and experiences. Teachers submitted photographs of their children engaging with KIBO and participated in two discussions with their researcher concerning the pictures. At both times, the discussions were audio recorded and summarized. Researchers concept mapped the interviews to identify and communicate common themes. In order of importance to the teachers, the children when using KIBO were engaged, worked independently of the teachers and cooperatively with classmates, were persistent, learned academic knowledge and skills, and developed problem solving skills.

Internet of things (IoT) enables a plethora of applications. However provisioning these applications in a cost-efficient manner, as well as decoupling the applications from the underlying IoT devices remains a challenge that cloud computing may aid in tackling. this paper proposes an architecture for an IoT Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to address these issues. Like any other cloud IaaS, the proposed IaaS relies on virtualization to realize cost efficiency. the high-level Application programming Interfaces (APIs) that enable IoT cloud consumers (e.g. IoT PaaS) to use the virtualized resources are described, as well as the lower level APIs that make possible the management of the actual pool of IoT physical resources. the subjacent functional entities (e.g. orchestrator, publisher, repository access engine, physical and virtual sensor repositories) are introduced, as well as the related interfaces. A proof of concept prototype is built and performance measurements are made. Advanticsys and Virtenio sensors are used as physical sensors. © 2018 IEEE.

this paper(1) takes a look at how XP and other agile practices can improve a software process for the development of avionics software. Developers of mission critical airborne software are heavily constrained by the RTCA DO-178B regulations [8]. these regulations impose strict rules regarding traceability and documentation that make it extremely hard to employ an iterative software development process. In particular, the extra validation overhead increases the time spent on small iteration cycles (for example, a bug-fix) to several weeks. Currently, this sector is also pressed to switch to a more agile, customer driven approach. In this paper we investigate how to speed up development and cope with changing requirements using agile techniques. the research was carried out in cooperation with Barco, a major Belgian avionics equipment supplier. We explain why certain agile techniques have less effect as the project progresses. We point out the stadia in which each XP practice is beneficial and where XP practices might cause a slowdown.
