In this paper, a gradient calculation method based on the direct differential (DD) of the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) algorithm is presented. Based on the DD FDTD, we introduce the technical process for inverse design problems, including optimization parameters and objective functions. Compared with the adjoint variable method (AVM) and the automatic differentiation (AD), this method has the lowest computational cost. Meanwhile, we can define objective functions in both frequency- and time-domain, which makes the proposed method more flexible for broadband inverse design problems. We apply the proposed inverse design approach to design a terahertz wavelength division multiplexer (WDM).

this research study demonstrates the viability of adopting the planned IEEE 802.15.7 standard as a foundation for the creation of low-to-medium data rate VLC applications in the commercial sector. the proof-of-concept shown here combines software and hardware pieces to provide a versatile platform where new features may be introduced without much programming. It can be concluded that a VLC system's dual functionality requirement is readily met by adhering to the IEEE 802.15.7 standard standards. Using a commercial or specialty lighting microcontroller, the software define part of the approach provided here may be adapted to meet the low cost criterion imposed on commercial VLC LED luminaries. Many examples of greater data rate transmission by utilizing other modulation methods may be found in the VLC literature, but our system's goal was to showcase the potential of a VLC system that adheres to industry standards. the provided solution demonstrates that the IEEE 802.15.7 standard has reached a level of maturity where cost-effective, simple, and performant solutions may be deployed utilizing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices for the aforementioned use cases. In order to improve the user experience and aid in the growth of the smart cities idea, VLC systems should not be considered as a replacement for Wi-Fi or any other wireless radio system.

this paper proposed a comprehensive multilayered and time-dependent congestion control strategy for the coexistence of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and human-driven vehicles in future mixed traffic systems. A linear programming model was developed with the objective of minimizing the average travel time. A genetic algorithm was used to optimize the time taken by CAVs to enter the main road via the entrance ramp, resulting in an optimal control strategy that satisfies the objective function and constraints. Typical scenarios with three different origin-destination (OD) distribution types were designed and the effectiveness of the control strategy was demonstrated through primary simulation analysis. In an approximately uniform distribution of OD scenario, 23 CAVs (representing 2.71% of all vehicles) were controlled but were able to reduce the average travel time of the entire mixed traffic system by almost 55%. Significantly improving the efficiency of the traffic system and alleviating the prevalent spatiotemporal congestion problem. Furthermore, in two scenarios with a ununiform OD distribution, by controlling CAVs that account for no more than 5% of all vehicles, it was possible to exceed the average travel time by 70% and 25% respectively. Overall, this study confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed congestion control strategy, which achieved significant control results at a relatively low cost. It showed great promise for further testing and application in traffic management.

Modern applications such as energy harvesting, signal monitoring in bio-medical sensing, portable point of care devices, etc. which involve state of the art mixed signal subsystems require robust ultra low power operation. Here in this work, a novel ultra low power level shifter (ULPLS) is proposed for sensing voltage signals in sub-threshold region. the proposed architecture is implemented in 22 nm technology using a dual power supply. the high and low supply voltages $(\mathrm{V}_{ddH}$ & $\mathrm{V}_{ddL})$ are set as 0.8 V and 0.4 V respectively. the key design features of ULPLS include a current limiting PMOS diode, a voltage divider, and an enhanced pull up network. the ULPLS exhibits a low power dissipation of $\sim 22.84$ nW with a minimum $\sim 70$ mV detection of input signal. the robustness of the design has been examined via worst case and Monte Carlo analyses.

In today's environment, a reliable and effective technique for identifying spam reviews is essential if you want to purchase things online without being taken advantage of. there are possibilities for publishing reviews in many internet locations, which opens the door for sponsored or deceptive fake reviews. these fabricated evaluations may mislead the general audience and leave them unsure of whether or not to believe them. the issue of spam review finding has been solved by the introduction of prominent deep literacy methods. the focus of recent research has been on supervised literacy practices that contain labelled data, which is inadequate for online review. this initiative aims to expose any dishonest textbook reviews. To do this, we've used both labelled and unlabeled data and suggested deep learning techniques for spam review detection, including Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), and a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) variation of Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN). We also used standard machine learning classifiers to identify spam reviews, including Naive Bayes (NB), K Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Finally, we compared the effectiveness of traditional and deep literacy classifiers. We'll use deep literacy classifiers to boost the finesse and efficiency.

In general, failure data is obtained in the automotive industry during the warranty period. If these contain the expression of a service life characteristic for each failure, statements can be made about the reliability and availability of the systems. For this purpose, estimation methods are used to adapt empirical lifetime distributions to theoretical lifetime distributions. By means of the distribution characteristics, a prognosis of the reliability and availability to be expected is also possible beyond the observation time. In addition to the data basis to be investigated, which is available completely in test bench and experimental trials or re-censored in the field, various methods can be used for estimation. In the past, several methods have been used, such as the estimators according to Eckel [1], Kaplan-Meier [2] or the estimators according to Pauli [3]. In general, a field failure is subject to several stresses, which can be described by expressions of several lifetime characteristics. For this application case, which occurs in the automotive industry, the known estimation methods, [1]–[3], cannot be used. In this paper, the necessity of multidimensional estimation methods will be introduced first. then, a new estimation method for multidimensional metrics is presented. In a further step, mathematical proof is given that the new method can provide realistic results. Finally, two example data sets from bench testing and field are presented. Furthermore, some recommendations for the use of the new method are concretized in this context.

Today, various AI generation tools are emerging in succession. And the majority of existing tools are predominantly model-centric in design, resulting in steep learning curves and high usability thresholds for users. Moreover, current user interfaces lack built-in image editing capabilities, forcing users to rely on external software even for basic image editing tasks. Considering that most image generation is an iterative process, this limitation significantly hampers user experience and creative potential. Instead, this paper proposes a novel canvas-centric design that seamlessly integrates editing functionalities into the UI called CanFuUI, streamlining secondary image processing. Users can crop, modify, and annotation of specific regions of generated images within the same canvas in CanFuUI. Furthermore, canvas content is utilized as preprocessed images, directly integrated into the ControlNet preprocessing procedure, reinforcing the customization capabilities of AI-generated outputs. © 2024, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A revolutionary GYM Monitoring System that employs deep learning techniques, YOLOv5 (You Only Look Once) for activity monitoring, and state-of-the-art posture estimation with MediaPipe to potentially improve exercise precision and ensure compliance with social distance norms. In an initial phase of the system, bounding box information and Euclidean distance are used to evaluate user behavior and determine optimal exercise distances. De-compilation is the process of executable files as input where the de-compilation process tries to get away the source code, or the majority of it, if the file's source code is lost or damaged for whatever cause. De-compilation has many uses such as code recovery, security testing, and errors corrections, however, de-compilation is cautious since it depends on certain approaches and techniques. Nowadays de-compilation done by many automated and semi-automated tools, but the accuracy and the efficiency of it depend on the proposed approaches and techniques to stand in front of reengineering challenges. this paper aims to highlight up-to-date prior contributions in the field where 8 published research papers from May 2020 until May 2023 were collected to investigate the state-of-art. As a result, some of the researchers tend to develop their own tools and others tend to use popular automated with different approaches and techniques where the majority of the researchers focused on C, C++, and JAVA programming languages where 50% were de-compilation on C language.

In order to improve the efficiency of the transmission line model finite element method (TLM-FEM), this paper optimizes the solution process of the incident stage and the reflection stage of the method. the optimized relaxation method is used to accelerate solution of the nonlinear process voltage, the calculation of the element coefficient matrix and the decomposition of the global matrix are implemented on the GPU in parallel to further improve the computational efficiency. the optimized transmission line finite element method is applied to the calculation of electromagnetic field of single-phase transformer. the accuracy of the algorithm is verified by comparing the results of self-programming analysis with the results of ANSYS. the calculation time of the same model with different grid numbers is compared, which proves that the proposed method can be applied to calculate the electromagnetic field of large-scale.
