In the current investigation the MapReduce algorithm is discussed. the idea for MapReduce is introduced initially in the field of functional programming languages. thereafter various implementations of MapReduce are provided and it is successfully applied in many different data platforms for fast processing of large amount of data in parallel and distributed environments. the popular open source implementations are Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark. the MapReduce algorithm consists of two main functions: map and reduce. In the current investigation the authors present the MapReduce algorithm in the field of index matrices theory. the map and reduce functions are presented using index matrix operations. A numerical example is presented. Apache Spark implementation is visualized. © 2021 IEEE.

Advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage (AA-CAES) devices are getting increasing attention, but the operating modes of compression and turbine units in them are complicated, which are affected by many factors such as heat transfer medium temperature, gas mass flow rate, heat exchanger heat transfer efficiency and so on. this paper establishes an AA-CAES dual-charge energy model for combined heat and power storage, considering the efficiency optimization in the energy release stage, coupling wind turbines (WTs) and unit combined heat and power (CHP) to analyze the role of different operating modes of AA-CAES, and constructs a quadratically constrained quadratic programming (QCQP) about the economic optimization of the system. the optimization results show that in the integrated energy system the AA-CAES combined heat and power storage is more advantageous than the traditional AA-CAES in participating in the wind power consumption, the results are more economical, and the operation of the CHP is more flexible.

In advance, the change of digital transformation persistently operates the function of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and draws out all forms of corporate considerations. the RPA raises a certain kind of business measure mechanization innovation that assists thought the software programming framework which enhances the system robots or man-made artificial intelligence (AI). While RPA is a famous subject in the corporate world and this holds scholarly exploration on research work which does not have a hypothetical and theoretical investigation over RPA. they portray the trait of RPA in a given direction which furnishes the concentration for additional exploration on advancement research which includes a software solution based on routine works, organized structured information and predetermined results. this helps in investigating the reports of emerging advantages in obtaining the efficiency of RPA with its cost and speed that decreases all the possible errors. © 2021 IEEE.

this paper addresses the stabilization problem of time-varying delay systems subject to actuator saturation. A novel class of Lyapunov functional with a nonlinear metric is developed to guarantee that there exists a Lyapunov-Razumikhin function that strictly decreases for the controlled system. Such a nonlinear metric is parameterized by a multi-dimensional Taylor network with concise topology, which brings into the high-order dynamic information and guarantees real-time performance. A sum-of-squares programming approach based on the designed Lyapunov functional is formulated to deduce the stability criteria, which maximizes the estimate of the region of attraction and ensures the uniform asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system theoretically. A numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed stabilization control scheme.

Over the past few years, pre-trained language models based on transformer architectures revolutionized the field of natural language processing, achieving state-of-the-art performance on various tasks. However, due to these models’ dependability on enormous corpora for training, very few such models were trained for underresourced languages and dialects, such as Moroccan Darija. In this work, we introduce DarRoBERTa and DarELECTRA which are two transformer-based language models for Darija. We evaluate the language models on the extrinsic tasks of text summarization and topic classification. As for the text summarization task, the results show that DarELECTRA achieves state-of-the art results with a score of 19.25 for Rouge 1, 5.79 for Rouge 2, and 18.01 for Rouge L. For the topic classification task, DarRoBERTa achieved an F1 score of 0.84 and accuracy of 0.86. While our Daija language models achieved results close the Arabic language models, they are much smaller and more efficient.

As Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) become increasingly prevalent, there is a growing need for secure and efficient data transfer between vehicles and other stakeholders in the transportation ecosystem. Blockchain technology has emerged as a promising solution to this challenge, offering a decentralized and tamper-resistant platform for storing and sharing data. this research study proposes a blockchain-based solution for addressing the challenges related to data security, ownership, trust, transparency, and auditability in AVs. It covers the use of blockchain for vehicle identity verification, secure data sharing, and real-time communication between AVs and other entities such as infrastructure and insurance providers. the proposed solution incorporates smart contracts, Merkle trees, and cloud storage to provide a trustless environment for data transfer and ensure that data is tamper-proof and auditable. the paper also provides a detailed implementation of the proposed solution. the findings of this research study provides a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art AVs and blockchain technology, highlighting the potential of this emerging field to transform the transportation industry.

Discuss UVM reusability, build APB_I2C IP verification environment through direct programming interface, successfully realize multi-language collaborative verification, and verify the feasibility of vertical reuse of C test cases from module level to subsystem level through the virtual processor scheme. Using the coverage-driven strategy, the verification progress is quantified, and the verification goal of 100% coverage is finally achieved, which improves the completeness and accuracy of verification. Finally, the cross-type debugging library is used to quickly locate and verify the error position in the simulation, which greatly shortens the verification cycle of the SoC.

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have become known as a game-changing digital asset class, revolutionizing digital content ownership and trade. these one-of-a-kind tokens symbolize a variety of digital and physical goods, including art, music, antiques, and more. the metadata linked with each token is crucial to the value and legitimacy of NFTs, giving crucial details about the asset's authenticity, ownership history, and other pertinent factors. It is critical in this setting to ensure the security, longevity, and usability of this metadata. the novel method of storing NFT information on the Interplanetary File System (IPFS), a decentralized and distributed file storage technology, is explored in this research article. It then digs into IPFS's design and operations, describing how it works as a decentralized file storage system. the integration of IPFS with NFT collections is thoroughly examined, emphasizing the advantages it provides with regard to data integrity, accessibility, and security. this study highlights IPFS's potential as a game- changing solution for NFT metadata storage. Creating a web- based NFT minting and querying application using ***, Web3Modal, and Ethereum on the Mumbai test net user-friendly integration of decentralized NFT contracts, aiming to facilitate broader adoption of NFT applications. As a result, it adds to the continuing discussion about NFT technology and its integration with decentralized systems, paving the path for a more robust and permanent digital art and collectibles market.

the benefits of study program digitalisation are very promising in engineering sector, and they are coming into all segments of life not avoiding the segment of education especially in engineering area. therefore Riga Technical University is intensively improving its study courses introducing and modifying study activities realised by means of various interactive tools. One of the ways to digitalise the courses is participation in project 2.3.1.1.i.0/1/22/I/CFLA/003 “Mastering of High Level Digital Skills In Latvia In the Field of High Performance Computing” (“Augsta līmeņa digitālo prasmju apguve Latvijā augstas veiktspējas skaitļošanas tehnoloģiju jomā”). this project is realised by three largest universities of Latvija – Riga Technical University, Riga Stradiņš University and Latvian University. It initialises the modification of 12 study courses for the further combined learning methodology on the basis of 8 themes modules: 1) scientific programming and operational systems, 2) computer design, 3D modelling and design, 3) data analysis, machine learning and data science, 4) parallel programming, 5) modelling and simulation, 6) modern computing systems and methods 7) engineering design of complex physical systems and simulation of mechanic, aerodynamic, electrodynamic properties and 8) artificial intelligence including medicine diagnostics based on pictures.

Biomimicry is a field of study that involves imitating the designs and processes of nature to solve problems using manmade systems. Biomimicry offers an empathetic, interconnected understanding of how life works and where we fit in. In bio-inspired designs, the main challenge is to develop a sustainable and effective framework that can be used in the real world. Most of the soft robotic designs are state-of-the-art models that cannot be used in real sensing applications. In this research, we propose a sustainable sensor-integrated modular soft robot model that can be used for locomotion and gripping applications. this work presents the steps involved in modeling, designing, and fabricating soft and flexible end effectors that can be used for soft robots with integrated soft stretchable sensors. It also demonstrates the design methodology involved in modeling and simulating the proposed model for robots that would require effectors with increased functionalities.
