Code similarity detection has been studied for several decades, which are prevailing categorized into attributecounting and structure-metric. Due to the one fold validity of attribute-counting for full replication, mature systems usually use the GST string matching algorithm to detect code structure. However, the accuracy of GST is vulnerable to interference in code similarity detection. this paper presents a code similarity detection method combining string matching and sub-graph isomorphism. the similarity is calculated with the GST algorithm. then according to the similarity, the system determines whether further processing with the subgraph iIsomorphism algorithm is required. Extensive experimental results illustrate that our method significantly enhances the efficiency of string matching as well as the accuracy of code similarity detecting.

Wind speed fluctuates heavily and affects a smaller locality than other weather elements. Wind speed is heavily fluctuated and quite local than other weather elements. It is difficult to improve the accuracy of prediction only in a numerical prediction model. An MOS (Model Output Statistics) technique is used to correct the systematic errors of the model using a statistical data analysis. Most previous MOS (Model Output Statistics) used a linear regression model, but they are hard to solve nonlinear natures of the weather prediction. In order to solve the problem of a linear MOS, a nonlinear compensation technique based on evolutionary computation is introduced as a new attempt. We suggest a nonlinear regression method using GP (Genetic programming) based symbolic regression to generate an open-ended nonlinear MOS. the new nonlinear MOS can express not only nonlinearity much more extensively by involving all mathematical functions, including transcendental functions, but also unlimited orders with a dynamic selection of predictors due to the flexible tree structure of GP. We evaluate the accuracy of the estimation by GP based nonlinear MOS for the three days wind speed prediction for Korean regions. the training period of 2007-2009, 2011 year is used, the data of 2012 year is for verification, and 2013 year is adopted for test. this method is then compared to the linear MOS and shows superior results. A microgrid consists of a variety of inverter-interfaced distributed energy resources (DERs). A key issue is how to control DERs within the microgrid and how to connect them to or disconnect them from the microgrid quickly. this paper presents a strategy for controlling inverter-interfaced DERs within a microgrid using an artificial neural network, which implements a dynamic programming algorithm and is trained with a new Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation algorithm. Compared to conventional control methods, our neural network controller exhibits fast response time, low overshoot, and, in general, the best performance. In particular, the neural network controller can quickly connect or disconnect inverter-interfaced DERs without the need for a synchronization controller, efficiently track fast-changing reference commands, tolerate system disturbances, and satisfy control requirements at grid-connected mode, islanding mode, and their transition. this study aimed to present an application of Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA) to discover loss in the process and dynamic programming in decision making of improvement solutions. the research focused on internal supply chain operations of the case study. Based on MFCA analysis, the overall cost can be classified as the cost of positive product as 46.97% and the cost of negative product as 53.03%. the highest cost of negative product was material cost (MC) 45.52% following by system cost (SC) 6.41%, and energy cost (EC) 1.10% of the total product cost. the improvement solutions were proposed for MC reduction. Industrial engineering problem solving tools;cause and effect diagram, pareto diagram and why-why analysis, were used to investigate root causes for negative MC. Seven improvement solutions were proposed and evaluated based on MFCA calculation. the decision making was carried out using dynamic programming when the incursion was formulated using the cost of positive product increased by each solution. Finally, only the 1st, 2nd, 6th and 7th solution were selected and the cost of positive product can be increased from 46.97% to 56.08% and the cost of negative product reduced from 53.03% to 43.92% © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2015.

Vessel rotation planning concerns the problem of assigning rotations to vessels over a number of terminals for loading and unloading containers in a large port. Vessel operators and terminal operators communicate with each other to make appointments about the rotation plans for the vessels. However, it happens frequently that these appointments cannot be met. thus, it is important to generate the rotation plans for the vessel operators in an efficient automated way. In this paper, we propose an approach to solve the vessel rotation planning problem by modeling the problem as a layered distributed constraint optimization problem (DCOP). To evaluate the performance of the proposed approach, combinations of three DCOP algorithms are considered, namely, Asynchrounous Forward Bounding, Synchrounous Branch and Bound, and Dynamic programming Optimization Protocol. We evaluate the solution quality and computational and communication costs of these three algorithms when solving the vessel rotation planning problem using the proposed layered formulation. Operational readiness and mission availability are two important standards in equipment supportability. To evaluate these two standards, an improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to solve the mixed integer programming (MIP) problems has been developed. the augmented Lagrange multiplier method is employed to deal with the constraints, and special update strategy employed to restrict the swarm particles to lies only in integer positions. Tests on the two former mathematical models have verified the effectiveness of the proposed mixed technique, and it can be easily applied to other mixed integer programming with Constraint problem.

In this paper, we propose a model to recommend related products to users. Our model combines the metrits of latent factor model and probabilistic topic model such as latent Dirichlet allocation(LDA), aiming to learn latent user factors from observed reviews rating and latent items factors from reviews text. It provides an interpretable latent factor for users and items. Experiments on a realworld dataset show that our model outperform state-of-the-art methods on the task of recommender system.

the Belief-Desire-Intention (BDI) model is well suited for describing an agent's mental state. To model human reasoning with uncertainty and imprecision, fuzzy logic have been employed to represent beliefs for BDI agents in our previous work. In order that the BDI agents are more and more suitable for modelling our real world, a BDI agent programming language with fuzzied-belief based on a existing BDI agent programming language is developed in this paper. the new language is more flexible and human-like compared to non-fuzzy based BDI agent language in the real world applications. Particularly, it provides a more reasonable planning selection mechanism. the reasoning capability of the previous BDI language is improved due to the work in this paper.

Advanced Computer Architecture is an upper-level required course offered by the Department of Computer science and engineering at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (UAA). Course content is structured to provide students with a qualitative and quantitative approach to computer architecture, which addresses both the hardware and software aspects of parallelism in modern computing systems. Historically, students were exposed to computer architecture's hardware-centric concepts through traditional textbook publisher provided instructor materials, including system schematic and block diagrams, and cycle-by-cycle hand analysis of short assembly language code snippets. Recorded student achievement outcomes for the course, were just meeting the faculty defined levels. Analysis of student performance indicated a higher-level of course content understanding in students with a mix of both hardware and software skills, and lower achievement levels by those students with only software background and skills. In an attempt to improve overall student understanding and outcome achievement, a reform of course material presentation was initiated which focused on use of microbenchmark programming as a means of introducing selected computer hardware concepts through their programming interfaces. Most computer science students are good programmers and understand high-level languages and algorithms. As such, they are used to tackling new concepts with software, so it was hoped that by linking the instruction of computer architecture hardware concepts with a programmer's perspective, overall student understanding and outcomes would improve.
