Withthe high penetration of renewable energy and the execution of renewable portfolio standards, it becomes urgent to analyze the behavior of a wind power producer (WPP) in energy and green certificate markets. To this end, we propose a strategic offering model for a WPP, aiming to analyze the impact of exercising market power on market clearing results and social welfare. Afterwards, the model is transformed into stochastic mathematical programming with equilibrium constraints (MPEC) and eventually mixed integer linear programming (MILP), which can be solved by off-the-shelf solvers. Finally, case studies are carried out on a small test system, illustrating that the market clearing price might increase compared withthe perfect competition situation, and the expected profit of WPP increases at the expense of market efficiency. Besides, we analyse the impact of line congestion on the revenue of WPP.

Floating-Gate-MOS Transistor (FGMOSFET) has several applications on analog circuit design; in some cases FGMOSFET simplifies high-complexity circuits because of its inherent properties. On the other side, working with FGMOSFET on subthreshold regime has allowed non-linear function implementation such as exponential and natural logarithm functions. Moreover, working on subthreshold regime is one of the most useful techniques for low-power designs. Taking advantage of FGMOSFET's properties, this work shows an analog CMOS circuit that finds the best solution of the combinatorial task of assignments in terms of Lagrange multipliers. this is in contrast to the Hopfield paradigm, which is often VLSI-costly. the building block in this circuit uses FGMOSFET transistors, has low silicon complexity and exhibits good electrical performance according to PSpice simulations. Final simulations were developed for a 0.5μm CMOS technology and the output currents reach an optimal solution in all cases. It might include threshold voltage programming circuits for reducing mismatch effects.

We propose an integration of an extension of Bailin's object-oriented requirements specification (OOS) (1989) with a formal notation (Z), called OOSZ. the OOS is used to guide the derivation of Z specifications. In OOSZ a function process is converted into an operation schema. An entity process is manifested through a state schema, an instance creation operation schema and an abstract operation schema. Correctness conjectures are generated for verifying the consistency of intralevel and interlevel specifications. these are illustrated using the problem domain of Auto Banking Systems. the bringing together of diagrammatical and text elements of OOS specifications in Z notations offers three major benefits. First, the relationship, between ERD and EDFD is tightly coupled compared with Yourdon's SA approach. Second, OOS specifications can be seen both as a structuring mechanism that helps in deriving Z specifications, and as a preliminary that assists in ascertaining the clients requirements. third, Z specifications make it easier to identify omissions or errors.

Ensuring the top-notch the effectiveness and endurance of power window operations in automobile systems requires the implementation of automated software testing. this study is dedicated to the automation of power window testing, with a focus on key capabilities, including obstacle detection, heat and voltage protection, and accurate position tracking. As a mechatronic application, the power window relies on software algorithms. the power window Electronic Control Unit (ECU), an external DC power supply, a PCB layout design, and software tools such as the vector CANoe tool and the Communication Access programming Language (CAPL) browser comprise the experimental setting for this investigation. the proposed automated testing method significantly enhances efficiency and mitigates the risks associated with ECU malfunctions and potential human accidents. the manual completion of 400 scenario checks, taking six weeks, can be streamlined to just two weeks through automation. the automated process generates a detailed report encompassing specifics like start times, end times, and logged values.

Due to the global competition in manufacturing, flexibility to provide for individually customized products is considered an important selling point. Constantly changing manufacturing processes face higher production costs than well known reoccurring schedules. To lower these costs in general, we propose a model predictive control concept to reduce manufacturing energy costs in particular, using an existing digital twin to estimate the load of the different manufacturing steps. Based on a mixed integer linear programming formulation of the battery-supported manufacturing process, the system makes optimum use of the on-site photovoltaic generation by production scheduling and adaptive battery control. A simulation study considering a time of use and a real-time pricing scenario provides a proof of concept.

Extensive research and development efforts have been dedicated to the investigation and advancement of the load commutation method-based automatic commutation device (CD) as a means to mitigate three-phase imbalance in low-voltage distribution networks (LVDNs). However, the present automatic commutation approach employs real-time balancing techniques. this entails that when the device detects an imbalance surpassing the threshold, it promptly executes commutation operations on certain power consumers where the user experiences a significant level of current, which poses challenges in the process of commutation. In this paper, a commutation-based load-pre-balanced system for low-voltage distribution line is created and put into practice. the system has the capability to perform the commutation operation prior to the user's utilization of electricity, hence eliminating the necessity for conducting high current commutation, which can mitigate the potential risks associated with automatic CD commutation. Firstly, a novel pre-balanced phase change strategy is introduced, accompanied by the construction of a pre-balanced system. Two commutation strategies, namely current-based and voltage-based, are designed for the pre-balanced system. Additionally, the effectiveness of the pre-balanced system in controlling the three-phase line load imbalance is verified by simulation on the MATLAB/Simulink platform. Finally, the hardware component of the system is realized through the use of the PIC18F27QI0 micro controller as the central controller. On the other hand, the system software component is developed by employing the programming languages C and Python, also a prototype is made for real environment testing. the experimental findings indicate that the designed pre-balanced system has the capability to efficiently regulate the imbalance in the three-phase line load.

this paper proposes a image in painting method for stereoscopic images based on hole-classification. the stereoscopic image pairs and their depth map images are generated by left and right shifting the original image according to its corresponding depth information. the generated left and right image may have disocclued areas or holes in the image after shifting operation. In this paper, disocclued areas or holes are classified into three type, gradient, clear-cut and layer and three different filling routes and filling methods are adopted according to these three types of holes. From the experimental results, it is proved that holes maybe mistakenly filled have been in painted with better corrections, in the meantime, in painted image becomes more natural and closer to the reality when it is viewed.
