All over the planet, there is a great demand for and need for electrical energy utilization. the market for non-conventional energy sources is increasingly growing and demand shoots up. Renewable energy resources play an important role among which Photo Voltaic (PV) cell electrical energy is the most reliable and effective one for power generation. the analysis of various converter circuits leads to show that, an interleaved fly-back converter topology in isolated grid associated inverter for high power photovoltaic applications is best even under partial shading conditions. A special mechanism known as an interleaving concept is used in this paper and it is an essential phenomenon in order to achieve high power as well as minimize the ripple components in current waveform. By the implementation of the proposed method, we acheived reliable percentage efficiency is 98.08 and the power factor for the system is 0.925. © 2022 IEEE.

Olives, one of the world's oldest and most significant cultivated crops, face persistent threats from various diseases, devastatingly affecting olive production and quality. In this era of technological advancement, the integration of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) has emerged as a promising tool for the early and accurate identification of diseases in agricultural crops. this work presents a novel solution of CNNs for the automated identification of diseases in olive plants in 3 categories (aculus olearius healthy and olive peacock spot). To further enhance the practicality and real-time applicability of the proposed system, an implementation of Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) is explored. this study delves into the FPGA-based deployment of the CNN solution, optimizing its computational efficiency for on-site disease diagnosis with a 98.82% accuracy rate. the results of this study reveal the potential of CNNs in revolutionizing olive disease management, enabling early intervention and precise treatment. Additionally, the FPGA implementation demonstrates the feasibility of deploying such advanced models where immediate decision-making is crucial for crop protection. this analysis paves the way for sustainable olive cultivation practices, ensuring the longevity and resilience of this invaluable crop in the face of evolving disease challenges. © 2023 IEEE.

In Gaza Strip, power outages lasting several hours daily are very common. In addition, today's power systems are facing challenges of environmental protection, increasing global power demand, and high reliability requirements. Centralized plants are now being replaced by smaller, distributed plants to pave the way to green and intelligent energy systems. the microgrid concept can therefore be viewed as a group of distributed energy loads and resources that can operate as a single controllable system and encompass many renewable energy sources and energy storage systems. For the microgrid system to operate reliably, energy management of a large number of distributed energy resources is required. As a result, energy management is a critical component of microgrid operation for economic and sustainable development. In this paper, the primary goal is to look into the feasibility of installing a microgrid system for Nasser medical complex. A techno-economic analysis of the capex, savings, and financial benefit of numerous microgrid possibilities is used to justify the final design. Using the HOMER Pro tools, several scenarios and architectures were simulated and discussed in terms of their specific requirements, features, and drawbacks. the scenarios are based on different alternatives, such as replacing a plant (which consists of a diesel generator) with a solar photovoltaic (PV) system and a battery-backed energy storage system (BESS). the simulations show that Scenario 4 (Hybrid PV system with Li-Ion batteries) is the optimal configuration regarding the economic indicators. the results clearly demonstrate that an annual grid power cost of 1.70M $, fuel costs of 0.40 M $, and operating costs of 0.66M $, with an annualized savings of 0.36 M$. the hybrid approach proposed in this situation has a 48.5% IRR, a payback period of 2.06 years, and an LCOE of 181 $/MWh. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper presents new computer software for the analysis and selection of components for Resheat systems. the system uses renewable energy sources (RES) to produce heat and electricity. the developed software aims at the optimal selection of the Resheat system elements and their parameters based on the specific constraints of the investor. the Resheat system software takes into account statistical weather data for different project locations with different climates. In addition, the programme can perform a user-defined economic analysis of the system. the calculated results of the system performance in a given year may vary from the actual values by ± 20% for annual values and ± 40% for monthly values due to changing weather conditions in a given year. the results obtained from part of the resheat system (e.g. estimated energy gains from PV) were compared with the results obtained from calculations using commercial software to verify the accuracy of the calculations. the comparison shows that the results obtained from the Resheat software are at an acceptable level. © 2023 University of Split, FESB.

In this work, the impact of negative capacitance upon Charge plasma Junctionless Nanowire Tunnel Field Effect Transistor (NC JL NWTFET) is proposed and investigated. A dopant free technique charge plasma is applied to the proposed device which excludes the need for doping for the creation of source and drain terminals which reduces the Random Dopant Fluctuations (RDFs) and Expensive thermal Budget (ETB). the channel length of 20nm and radius of 7.5nm is used for designing the proposed device. Simulations using Silvaco TCAD coupled with Landau Khalatnikov (LK) coefficients of ferroelectric are used. the negative capacitance approach enhances the non-hysteric operation which can ultimately be used for minimal power purposes. To analyze the ideal required bias, LK equations are used for determining the ferroelectric thickness and to calculate the impact of NC, the ferroelectric PZT having perovskite properties is used near gate as an insulator. the thickness of ferroelectric is the major factor as it can lead to hysteresis So, the thickness needs to be carefully selected. the investigation is done with the comparison of with NC and without NC upon JL NWTFET. With the negative capacitance approach the proposed device exhibited ION of 1.17 (μA) at reduced operating voltage of 0.5V. Device comparison with respect to analog and linearity analysis is demonstrated proving the device capability for low power applications. © 2023 IEEE.

Distribution of electric power in a building is a power distribution circuit system starting from power sources, transformers, distribution networks to the load with all its aspects in such a way that the quality of service and comfort of the building can be maintained properly and optimally, efficiently and economically. therefore it is necessary to analyze the performance of the electric power system at Sentani Jayapura airport. the Sentani Jayapura Airport electric power system uses a combined PLN and generator supply as a source of electric power. In this power system there are 4 transformers with 3 main transformers and 1 backup transformer. this transformer transformer is connected to the load according to the design that has been made. To find out the problems in this electric power system, an analysis is carried out. In this study, the analysis includes voltage drop and short circuit analysis. the analysis is carried out using existing specifications and systems and is carried out by performing calculations at full load. then a simulation is carried out as a comparison of manual calculations. © 2023 IEEE.

Subwavelength structured gratings are increasingly used in new optoelectronic devices, micro-optical electromechanical systems, and other fields due to their functional diversity and large design freedom. When the characteristic size of the structure is much smaller than the wavelength of the incident light, only zero-order reflection and transmission diffraction will exist. By changing the parameter values of column width, duty cycle, and trench depth of the subwavelength structured grating, its reflectivity can be changed. In this paper, the finite difference time domain method (FDTD) and the equivalent medium theory are used to study and analyze the influence of the subwavelength structural parameters of the grating on the reflection characteristics and design an anti-reflection subwavelength structural grating with an operating wavelength of 1064nm. the simulation results show that when the grating period is 0.4μm, the duty cycle is 0.875, the groove depth is 0.23μm, and the column width is 0.35μm, the reflectivity of the subwavelength structure grating for incident light from 0° to 30° can reach 0.5%∼0.7%. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. this article aims to design and develop Rapid Prototyping Techniques Ontology based on the study of new generation web as the Semantic Web that is a method of encoding and retrieval of information will be able to understand and process the information. To create an ontology that makes up the backbone of the Semantic Web, first, the selective techniques of rapid prototyping systems were studied, and in the operating area of the appropriate technique, knowledge was extracted with the content analysis method. the output of this process is the ontology of rapid prototyping techniques that are fully covered knowledge in a given area with more than 600 axiom, 120 classes and sub-classes, and more than 60 features. In addition to a knowledge-based view in the field of selector systems of Rapid Prototyping, opens a new arena. In the end, domain knowledge using the owl language in the Protégé application is implemented as Rapid Prototyping Ontology. © 2022 IEEE.

With the expansion and increasing complexity of urban rail transit networks, the inspection and maintenance of rail facilities are facing growing challeng-es. Traditional manual inspection methods are inefficient, high-risk, and in-sufficient to meet the safety management needs of modern rail transit. With the rapid development of the low-altitude economy, UAVs (Unmanned Aer-ial Vehicles), due to their flexibility and automation advantages, have gradu-ally become an effective alternative to manual inspections. this paper ex-plores the application of intelligent inspection technology using UAVs in ur-ban rail transit, analyzing inspection scenarios in stations, main line sections, and depots. It elaborates on the advantages of UAV-based intelligent inspec-tions in track detection, catenary monitoring, structural monitoring, and water accumulation monitoring. By introducing the composition of UAV intelligent inspection systems and their intelligent analysis technologies, this paper pro-poses the organizational and functional architecture design for UAV-based inspections, addressing key technical challenges such as data transmission and flight altitude control. the study demonstrates that UAV intelligent in-spection technology can significantly improve inspection efficiency and ac-curacy, reduce safety risks, and holds broad application prospects. © 2024 SPIE.
