CVD continues to pose a substantial global health burden, demanding the need for the creation of precise predictive models that can aid in the timely identification and evaluation of risks. this research paper aims to provide a thorough examination of the prediction of CVD by utilizing CNN in aggregation with hyperparameter tuning techniques. this paper examines the effectiveness of three widely recognized CNN architectures, namely ResNet, VGGNet, and Xception CVD. the Tree-structured Parzen Estimator (TPE) is utilized as a method for tuning hyperparameters in order to optimize the CNN models. the study commences with a comprehensive examination of the dataset, encompassing a wide array of cardiovascular CT image data. the chosen CNN architectures serve as the fundamental framework for our predictive models. the selection of these architectures is based on their established track record in effectively addressing image analysis tasks and their capacity to accurately capture complex patterns and features present in medical images. the models undergo training using a dataset in order to acquire knowledge about distinctive features that are linked to various cardiovascular conditions. the experimental findings presented in the study indicate that the utilization of the Xception architecture, in aggregation with TPE for hyperparameter optimization, yields the most favorable predictive accuracy. Specifically, the achieved accuracy rate of 98.26% is notably remarkable. this result highlights the significance of not only choosing advanced CNN architectures but also optimizing their hyperparameters to fully exploit their potential in predicting cardiovascular disease. this establishes it as a promising tool for the early diagnosis and risk assessment of CVD. this study establishes a fundamental basis for future investigations in the advancement of precise and dependable predictive models applicable to various medical imaging contexts. © the Author(s), under exclusive license

With the rapid advancement of e-learning platforms, especially Learning Management systems (LMS), there have been increasing issues in achieving a seamless user experience. Although LMS are becoming integrated into the traditional education system, they often fail to meet the expectations of students and lecturers, which causes the dissatisfaction and frustration. this study examines the usability of the LMS at Mae Fah Luang University by applying both traditional System Usability Scale (SUS) surveys and refined biometric usability testing, using facial expression analysis and respiratory data collection. these dual techniques ensure to uncover the deeper knowledge into the emotion and cognitive states of the users while they are interacting with the LMS. the SUS survey showed the navigation issues and user interface (UI) complexity, with the poor usability score of 55. Biometric data analysis then emphasized and validated these findings, by revealing the negative emotions together with fluctuated respiratory patterns. SUS and biometric approach to usability testing focus on requirements of implementing an intuitive and user-friendly LMS design to improve the learning experience of the students. Recommendations encompass the information visibility, clear navigation paths and timely notification to improve overall usability of LMS. © 2025 IEEE.

Starting from the current multifunctional integration and architecture design development status of the flight control system for the mainstream civil aircraft, this paper proposes the system design concepts of "In and Out as a Whole", "Direct Connection and Transmission", and "Same Sources and Routes"for the external sensors application sources of the fight control system. External application sources are air data, inertial Reference data and angle of attack sensors in this paper, specifically. this paper analyzes and compares the functional residence and separation processing of external application sources for fly-by-wire flight control system. In addition, it demonstrates the correctness of this design concept and its practical engineering value, systematically. this work has provided a significant reference for future civil aircraft design. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

the traditional gate can not use the natural conditions to achieve flood control function, in the flood comes by relying on human operation, can not carry out timely flood control operation. this paper proposes a hydraulic self-drive flood control gate, which mainly includes hydraulic dynamic drive mechanism and hydraulic drive mechanism. Use SolidWorks 3 D modeling software to establish its 3 D model, with the overall length of 6.5 m, the width of 1.5 m and the height of 4.5 m. And the secondary protection function is realized through the hydraulic drive mechanism. the parameters of the gate are set, and the specific design parameters of the water tank and hydraulic cylinder are obtained through the theoretical analysis of the two mechanisms. Ansys simulation software is used for dynamic analysis and mode analysis, show that the maximum stress of the gate is 8.84 Mpa and the maximum deformation is 0.186 mm, which meets the requirements of gate design strength and stiffness of the gate. Mode analysis simulation results show that the minimum vibration frequency of the gate is 34.588 Hz, greater than the maximum pulse frequency of water flow is 20 Hz, which almost does not resonate with the flood.

the growth of traffic is significant to the planning and development of the transportation system, as it aids in the identification of future investments. Traffic forecasting is defined as an evaluation of traffic capacity and the number of vehicles that will use a specific type of transportation facility in the future. this method uses appropriate assumptions to estimate overall average traffic, giving adequate weight to traffic growth in figures, considering the volume of design services as recommended by IRC: 64 for various road types, for the following three decades, this model is used to forecast future traffic volumes in PCU/day. After analyzing several research publications, a methodology based on the elasticity method is adopted to determine the overall traffic growth rate. To develop the future traffic prediction model, the vehicle registration figures are collected from the RTO-Shillong, correlated with the help of GDP, per-capita income, and population of the Meghalaya to generate the growth rates as per IRC recommendations. the model of traffic forecasting might be quite subjective and approximate due to the lack of adequate data and the volatility of the expanding economy. thus, proposing lanes required after ten, twenty, and thirty years for smooth serviceability of different roads classified based on location and function as per IRC recommendations will be obliging. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Bridge isolation using laminated rubber bearing has been widely used for seismic safety and reduces response displacement of substructures during earthquake. But in recent large earthquakes in Japan, damages at girder ends of steel girder bridges prevented an easy repair and an early recovery of traffic. then the authors focused on a bridge deck isolation of the steel girder bridge having deck system for damage mitigation and seismic redundancy and have conducted feasibility studies of the system. this paper presents application examples of the bridge deck isolation into a steel I-shaped girder bridge and its seismic responses through dynamic response analysis. the analytical results indicate that the bridge deck isolated by using a low frictional sliding surface over the steel girder and supported laterally by buffers effectively reduces reaction forces of bearings. Structural plans to enhance repairability and maintainability are also taken into the application examples.

With the construction sector being responsible for about 40% of the energy and material use, the sector has a great responsibility for lowering the consumption if we are to succeed in our global pursuit for the green transition. However, buildings must still comply with the demands of users. For long-span, open-space lightweight, multi-storey buildings, this provides a potential risk related to annoyance caused by vibration and structure borne noise. this paper addresses the multilateral effects of building typology in terms of the vibroacoustic performance and the environmental impact. Based on an automized digital framework, multi-storey buildings made of cross-laminated timber and/or concrete are modelled and compared. Finite-element analysis is used for the dynamic structural analysis, and the architectural design tool Rhino is used for material take-offs and visualisation. the aim of the paper is to provide insight into the advantages and disadvantages of different building typologies to be used for informed decision making in the early stages of design.

Today, Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) robots are integral to many factories. One of the basic problems of these robots is accurate navigation, which, in addition to creating security in performing tasks, it helps the robot to manage the battery power and energy and move on a predetermined path. Over the various method, the visions are based on good performance, recently been widely used. In this research, a simple but effective fusion method as the combination of vision(camera) and infrared (IR) sensors with the minimum number of sensors is proposed and implemented. the proposed method has been simulated and evaluated using the Vrep simulator with real dimensions of our previous design AGV system named Hongma and the Python API. In the simulation, the proposed method was carried out. In the experiment, five paths named Circle, Elliptical, Spiral,8 shapes, and Special path, different paths with different complexity were tested, and the experiment aimed to find the maximum speed at which the proposed algorithm and the vision sensor (camera sensors) can track the path with a 100% success rate. the results obtained in the experiment show the fusion method's effectiveness over the five mentioned scenarios in tracking the planned path compared to the routine vision method. © 2022 IEEE.

the fatigue behavior of reinforcing steel bars (rebars) is significantly influenced by its surface geometry and thus the manufacturing process. As a result of static or dynamic loads, stress concentrations occur at the feet of transverse ribs. Here, the fillet radius has a significant influence on the resulting notch stresses. In addition to the basic surface design, production and process technology have to be controlled in order to increase the fatigue life of reinforcing steels. A laser-based line scan system (LLS system) was used to generate three-dimensional digital geometric twins of the rebars with high accuracy. the resulting surface models were implemented in a finite element method (FEM) program for linear-elastic finite element simulations. Here, areas of high notch stresses were detected at or near the rib feet. these results were compared with the fracture locations of the fatigue tests of the specimens and the local strength.

Aiming at the public opinion management needs of Chinese college students, this paper designs a fully-functional experimental teaching network public opinion monitoring system based on Rongmedia cloud platform. Based on Hadoop technology, the data acquisition and data processing module of the system is designed, and the Hdfs distributed file management system of data storage is constructed, which realizes the efficient storage of public opinion data information. MapReduce programming model and semantic analysis algorithm in cloud computing are used to realize topic discovery and public opinion analysis module, so as to complete the analysis of public opinion data information. After testing, the system has stable operation, accurate data analysis and easy deployment, which can meet the needs of public opinion monitoring and management.
