Inventive ideas for ecological monitoring applications have been made easier by the incorporation of IoT (Internet of things) technology into intelligent robotic systems. Based on IoT principles, the design and execution of an intelligent robot for environment monitoring has been proposed in this work. the developed model has wide range of sensors which are helpful in measuring different ecological factors like humidity, temperature, air quality, and pollution levels. the developed model utilizes IoT connectivity to gather data in real time from various sensors and sends it to a central cloud platform for analysis and display. the proposed model also has autonomous navigation skills, which enable it to go across both indoor and outdoor areas while gathering data in various locations. the suggested system provides a scalable and reasonably priced way to continuously monitor the environment, with possible uses in urban planning, agriculture, and disaster relief. © 2024 IEEE.

the Vivaldi Antenna has gained significant popularity and importance in radar systems, due to its wide bandwidth, fairly high gain and radiation features. the modifications in the structure of Vivaldi Antenna performance within the X-band are discussed in this paper. the paper discusses two modified Vivaldi designs, their plotted characteristic features and observations made on them. the Conventional Coplanar Vivaldi Antenna has two peripheral slots added, which help reduce the back lobes and improve the return loss. the Modified Vivaldi Antenna includes the addition of a circular slot line cavity, multiple rectangular slots along its periphery, and an unconventional antenna base, with the width being longer than the length. the addition of the rectangular slots decreases the presence of back lobes, while simultaneously providing lower return loss, peaking at a minimum of 39.59dB. Additionally, a circular slot line cavity is shown to provide increased overall gain, with a peak of 7.91dB in this study. © 2024 IEEE.

Modern military aircraft engines are designed for high thrust, low specific fuel consumption, small engine size, and high thrust-to-weight ratio. Afterburner is a thrust augmentation device that is used in all modern military aircraft engines. Afterburners are required for aircrafts to take- off from short runways with heavy payloads and to perform combat manoeuvres. Light up and flame stabilization are the key requirements for any afterburner design. From the literature review, V-gutters are known to be the best flame holding devices based on the blockage, flame spread and combustion stability criteria. For the fifth-generation aero engines, the gas temperature at the entry of the afterburner system is higher than the V-gutter material's allowable limit. Typical turbine entry gas temperatures are of order of 1850 K and reduces to a value of 1100 K at afterburner inlet which necessitates cooling of the V-gutter structure. Uncooled or bare v-gutters are prone to oxidation and damage due to thermal fatigue. the cooling of v-gutter helps to prevent the oxidation and improve the life. In this work, various cooling design configurations for the given V-gutter have been investigated using jet impingement and film cooling techniques. this study aims to develop a cooling arrangement to reduce the average uncooled V-gutter metal temperature from 950 K to less than 750 K by using the bypass air at 3 bar pressure and 550 K temperature. the corresponding average cooling effectiveness of 0.5 is to be achieved. the design of experiments (DOE) methods used for computational studies like Monte Carlo and Montgomery to validate and analyse the designs are computationally intensive and time consuming. Hence, a parametric approach is used for optimization of cooling flow design to achieve the desired temperatures and cooling effectiveness. An optimal design for public electric bus system based on Differential Evolution Algorithm

this paper proposes an optimal design of public electric vehicle system with minimizing investment costs associated with infrastructure and operating conditions. Specifically, the proposed strategy is supposed to provide electric bus systems with cost-effectiveness. To demonstrate a case study, the existing electric bus system of Khon Kaen University is selected as a model for our investment analysis. the investment cost consists of two significant costs: the investment cost of charging station infrastructure and the investment cost of onboard batteries. the proposed design aims to optimize these costs based on two key parameters: the conditional boundary state of charge (SOCch) and the charging time (T-ch). To achieve the optimal solution, we utilize a Differential Evolution Algorithm (DE) for cost optimization, comparing the results to those obtained through Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). the results indicate that our DE-based approach can reduce 14.54% of the total investment cost of the electric bus system compared to the results of PSO approach. Moreover, the designed charging waiting time can provide an efficient bus schedule that accurately reflects actual service periods. Overall, our findings suggest that the proposed strategy can effectively promote the adoption of electric bus systems as a more cost-effective and environmentally sustainable transportation option.

Power amplifiers are important in today's wireless communication systems. this paper describes the design, tuning, and performance optimization of a class-AB power amplifier operating in the 3.7 GHz - 4.2 GHz frequency range with an output power of 40 dBm at a gain of about 10 dB. A Wolfspeed CGH40010F GaN HEMT transistor, which operates from DC with a 28V supply, is employed in the amplifier's design to satisfy the specifications. Using the transistor nonlinear simulation model created by Cree Inc., an amplifier is designed and simulated in Keysight Advanced design System (ADS) software. Keeping the issues of linearity and efficiency in mind, the biasing point is chosen for the class AB configuration. In biasing, the drain current is 48 mA and the gate-source voltage is -3.05 V. the frequency range for the design is chosen based on applications. then, the stability analysis of the transistor is performed. the simulation results also show that the transistor becomes broadband stable when a resistor is added to its input side. Source-pull and load-pull simulation is used to extract source and load impedances for optimal power and efficiency. From the perspectives of efficiency and linearity, the installed PA performs exceptionally well across the entire frequency range. According to the simulation, the RF PA's flat gain fluctuated between 8.19 dB and 10.90 dB for the frequency range of 3.7 GHz to 4.2 GHz. At 3.8 GHz, the maximum power added efficiency (PAE) was found to be 64.52%, while the maximum drain efficiency is simulated to reach 67.78% at an output power of nearly 40 dBm. © 2025 IEEE.

Prosthetic fingers are the key component in Prosthetic hand, it is specific for individual, as each person have unique dimension for their finger. Fingers in human hand play a vital role in handling minute and delicate objects with accurate and precise control. A prosthetic finger can be as challenging to design and manufacture, purely due to its complexity in designing small and complex parts starting from phalanges, knuckles, and actuation systems. Developing and manufacturing automorphic prosthetic finger which closely replicate the movements and functionality of human finger is a challenging area. this paper studies the structural compliance of thermoplastic urethane (TPU) in application to prosthetic finger. In this work the design and analysis of prosthetic finger with compliant joints is proposed, by designing a computer aided (CAD) model. the proposed design incorporates a monolithic design where no further post processing and assembly is required for a fabricated prosthetic finger, thus reducing the cost in manufacturing and implement simple design, increasing the reliability of the prosthetic finger. In order to validate the proposed design, the structural design is analyzed using computational analysis tool like finite element analysis (FEM). And the upshot of this study demonstrates the potential for advancements in shaping the advanced and cost-effective prosthetic finger. the findings from this study can typically reinforce the customization and functionality of prosthetic devices, conclusively enhancing the quality of life for those who are amputated. © 2024 IEEE.

In the era of smart cities with Internet of things every time there is a need of innovative and sustainable solutions for parking and smart cities management. the solutions which are developed are not sufficient enough to derive the best and sustainable outcomes. In densely populated areas in metro cities with high compactness, due to the insufficiency of parking space, many vehicles navigate searching for available parking spaces, requiring time to locate a suitable parking spot. the search for parking leads to various challenges like consumption of time, fuel consumption, traffic congestion, air pollution, and stress on drivers. the implementation of an intelligent parking system gives solutions to optimize the time, reduce fuel consumption and carbon emission and most importantly keep drivers free from *** main objective of this paper is to perform comprehensive study and present the analysis of Intelligent parking systems on the basis of networking technologies, various technical and computational approaches, user interfaces and services provided. this study will provide the clear idea of a design for sustainable intelligent parking system in various environments having its advantages, disadvantages, and research gap.
