At present, based on the transfer coefficient method, most of the anti-slide pile designthrusts are calculated by the overload method and the strength reserve method respectively. Many algorithms only consider the remaining sliding force behind the pile and the safety factor that meets the requirements of the design conditions. Generally, the safety factor is the safety factor of the sliding slope behind the pile after the anti slide pile is reinforced. For the entire landslide, there are two safety factors before and after the pile, which is not the design safety factor target value, and there is a big difference between the safety factor and the treatment goal required by the specification. through the study of the pile-soil interaction of anti-slide piles, it is believed that in addition to the active residual sliding force transmitted by the blocks behind the pile, the anti-slide piles are simultaneously subjected to the passive residual anti-sliding force transmitted upwards by the blocks in front of the pile. the stress analysis shows that: Firstly, according to the different active and passive properties of anti-sliding force transmission and sliding force transmission, the mechanical model of anti-sliding force transmission is studied, and the calculation formula of anti-sliding force transmission coefficient is derived;Secondly, It is believed that the anti-slide pile provides horizontal thrust to the landslide, and two components of the sliding surface direction and the vertical sliding surface direction are generated. the balance equation is established and the overload method and the strength reserve method of anti-slide pile thrust calculation formula are derived;thirdly, according to the principle of setting piles in the anti-slip section, the optimal location of anti-slide piles are proposed;Fourthly, after verification of cases, the safety factors before and after the piles calculated by the overload method are basically equal, and consistent with t

this paper delves into a comprehensive analysis of fault-tolerant memory systems, focusing on recovery techniques modelled using Markov chains to address transient errors. the study revolves around the application of scrubbing methods in conjunction with Single Error Correction and Double Error Detection (SEC-DED) codes. It explores three primary models: 1) Exponentially distributed scrubbing, involving periodic checks of memory words within exponentially distributed time intervals; 2) Deterministic scrubbing, featuring regular, periodic word checks; and 3) Mixed scrubbing, which combines both probabilistic and deterministic scrubbing approaches. the research encompasses the estimation of reliability and Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) values for each model. this paper deals withthe seismic design of modular steel water storage tanks designed and manufactured with Zincalume (c) steel panels. the tanks have a novel design and do not have bottom plates. they are fitted with a synthetic liner, are stiffened with vertical wind girts and are anchored to a concrete ring beam at the bottom of each wind girt using holding down bolts. Due to the high radius to wall thickness ratio (R/tw) of these tanks, the structural performance, interaction withthe stored fluid and the foundation soil under dynamic loads, have not been well understood. In the research reported, the effect of seismic loads on the global structural behaviour of these tanks such as base shear, overturning moment, circumferential stress as well as buckling behaviour of the thin metal panels is studied using both analytical and numerical Finite Element Method (FEM) analyses. Parametric studies using spring-mounted mass analogy techniques specified by the American Petroleum Institute code (API650) and the New Zealand Society for Earthquake engineering recommendation (NZSEE) are conducted for three tanks with different fluid height to tank radius ratios (Hw/R).

Continuously variable filter based on Fabry-Perot interference was studied in the paper. A thin film interference signal transmission model whose spectral characteristics are continuously variable with spatial direction was established. According to the design specifications of continuously variable thin film filter with wide band and high dispersion coefficient, and were selected as high and low refractive index materials respectively, the TFCalc thin film design software was used to optimize the design of narrowband filter film by the variable metric method, and the cascade mode of symmetric film stacks with different center wavelengths was used to design broadband cut-off film to broaden the cut-off band. the designed formula has a continuously varying film thickness distribution along the spatial direction of the substrate, so that the center wavelength of the bandpass filter at each position along the spatial direction of the filter is linearly distributed. the designed filter can obtain a spectral gradient of 650-1050nm within the effective working region of 12mm, and the linear dispersion coefficient is 33.33nm/mm. the single-piece integrated multi-channel filtering is realized, which fully meets the requirements of miniaturization, wide working band and high spectral efficiency.

the objective of this study is to design an Electroencephalographic (EEG) analytic methodology that allows to develop a variety of analysis and interpretations of brain signals. the initial phase considers the acquisition and filtering of EEG signals, the division into bands in data ranges, and the storage of EEG signals in a cloud data base. then, an analytical phase considering descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis is accomplished. A sequence of analytic intermediate processing steps is done in order to render a graphic visualization of significant correlations between pairs of EEG channels. Pearson correlation is utilized to detect synchronic connectivity through the brain areas. Time series in nearly instantaneous time lapses are treated by using Hilbert Huang Transform. An experimental design by submitting a set of students to an abbreviated version Raven visual test is made providing results in correlation maps of cerebral connectivity. (C) 2021 the Authors.
