Digitalization of education is one of the major strategies for my country’s current education reform and development, and market-oriented online education companies are one of the frontier practitioners in promoting digitalization of education. the work is based on the Vscode programming tool, and uses the Echarts graphics library and the Vue framework to perform Web front-end data visualization interaction design in a knowledge graph visualization manner. Use the Scrapy crawler framework in Python to crawl data from relevant websites, summarize and analyze the industry status, forward-looking areas and research hotspots of online education worldwide, and show the current development history and industry prospects of the global online education industry. By adding the random forest algorithm, we can deeply analyze the profound impact of my country’s double reduction policy on the development of domestic online education and the establishment of a new generation of industry standards. the relevant literature data of the past ten years from CNKI were exported, and the screened literature data were imported into the bibliometric tool COOC and the visualization software CiteSpace for sorting and analysis, presenting the research status and hot trends in the field of online education industry. Help relevant practitioners, researchers, learners, etc. to enhance their business understanding in the field of online education, and provide reference for the digital transformation of education in educational institutions at all levels and types. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

this paper aims to compile and utilize 71 borehole data collected from 25 villages in thiruvananthapuram taluk in a spreadsheet format. Information on soil type at various depths from bore logs is used to predict the soil type spatial variability. It is done by developing of 3dimensional subsurface model and a 2D map of soil variability at different depths (5.5, 9.5, 13.5 m) using a kriging technique in geostatistical tool in Arc GIS. the performance of Ordinary Kriging and Empirical Bayesian kriging in the development of a 2D map of soil type variation was also evaluated. the performance of the adopted kriging interpolation model for the 2D map is validated using cross-validation technique. A soil map for a shallow depth of 1.5 m is developed using the best suited kriging technique from the analysis. these maps developed enable engineers to visualize trends in soil profiles and to use these maps as a primary information in design and analysis. Soil maps of shallow depths could help to know the feasibility of a shallow foundation system. Stents are vital in maintaining artery and duct patency by preventing blockages. However, modern stent types have complications, including thrombosis and bleeding. Our goal is to create a 3D-printed, biocompatible, self-expanding polymer stent to address these issues. Auxetic stents, characterized by their unique mechanical properties, hold promise in addressing these complications. Achieving the Auxetic structure involves a comprehensive exploration of various unit cell designs. In our research, we have meticulously crafted computer-aided design (CAD) models of stents, focusing on the arrowhead unit cell design, utilizing solid works software. Subsequently, we conducted a thorough analysis of the stent-ballooning system using Ansys software, with the stent material modeled as structural steel. this analysis lays the foundation for our upcoming simulations, where we aim to investigate the use of polymer materials, such as PLA. Ultimately, our goal is to discover and refine an optimal stent design, bolstering confidence in the utilization of polymer materials like PLA (polylactic acid) for stent placement and thereby enhancing patient outcomes. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

In addition to the soft soil formed by natural settlement, with the development of social economy, the ultra soft soil represented by sludge and engineering waste slurry is widely distributed in cities. Due to the poor cohesiveness of ultra soft soil, soil particles will be in a floating or dispersive state when it has a high water content, showing a flow to high flow characteristics, and its strength and other engineering characteristics indexes are extremely low. In order to accurately determine the physical characteristics of ultra soft soil, the physical indexes and variability of soft soil in Tianjin are obtained by collecting the soft soil test results of hundreds of engineering projects in Tianjin. the regression equation is used to analyze the correlation of soft soil indicators in Tianjin, and the correlation between physical indicators is analyzed. the relationship between water content, density and void ratio of ultra soft soil is obtained, and its accuracy is verified by the physical indicators of ultra soft soil in various regions of China. the research results can provide basic support for the resource utilization of ultra soft soil, such as preparing muddy solidified soil.

In the machine building industry, producing parts from materials with high mechanical properties typically demands considerable energy consumption during machining. As part of our research, we focused on optimizing the machining process for cutting high-strength aluminum alloy 2024 semi-finished products, crucial for the aerospace industry. Our aim was to reduce energy consumption by exploring novel designs for cutting tools. In this context, the study measured forces in the three primary directions of a cutting process (Fc, Ff, Fp) for three different design variants of cutting tools, along with the associated power consumption. the improved design of cutting tools results in a significant reduction in cutting forces, approximately by 30%, according to the study’s findings. Statistical analysis highlights the benefits of using the enhanced version of the tool, especially in material removal processes, where the decrease in cutting forces is most pronounced. Overall, these findings advocate for the use of the improved cutting tool variant to optimize performance and reduce operational costs. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

the objective of the paper is to design a trailer structure that can carry a payload of 15 tons. this payload capacity suggests that the trailer is intended for heavy-duty transportation. It emphasizes the need for innovative solutions to reduce the weight of trailer structures, ultimately leading to lower fuel consumption and emissions. the transportation industry's commitment to sustainable practices and the adoption of advanced materials are crucial steps toward achieving environmental goals and creating a greener future. the use of advanced light-weight materials is a key aspect and include high-strength alloys, composites, or other innovative materials, have a higher strength-to-weight ratio compared to traditional materials. By using advanced lightweight materials, designing efficiently, and analyzing the structure's performance, actively contributing to reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions, and a greener future. In the present work, an advanced lightweight material, AlBeMet AM162 Extruded Bar was selected, and the structure has been designed and analyzed for weight reduction. the trailer structure has been modeled in ANSYS and significant reduction has been observed in the weight of trailer structure which leads to decrease in consumption of fuel with an appreciable reduction in CO2 emission preventing the environment from pollution. By reducing the weight of the trailer structure, the overall load on the towing vehicle is diminished. this leads to improved fuel efficiency and decrease in vehicular emissions. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

the steel catenary riser is a preferred solution in deepwater gas and oil exploration. though the numerical solution can give a precise result, the theoretical analyses exhibit the advantages of more rapid calculation speed with a few parameters, thus making it more suitable for the preliminary design of the riser. Since the riser may be laid on the sloped seabed, the catenary theory was modified in this study to calculate the static behavior of the SCR, and the results were verified by the numerical model. the influences of the seabed inclination angle and heave motion exerted to the top of the riser on the TDP location were investigated. Since the riser rigidity was neglected in the catenary theory, the boundary layer solution was integrated into the model to accurately determine the mechanical behavior within the touchdown zone of the SCR. Based on the simulation result, it can be seen that both the TDP moving distance and riser maximum stress range are increased with the heave motion amplitude and the seabed slope, whereas the heave motion exerted to the hang-off point has a major influence. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

the present work focuses on optimizing pump performance parameters in heat exchangers by introducing an innovative spring design within mechanical seals. Mechanical seals are crucial components in ensuring fluid containment and system integrity. However, existing seals often struggle with consistent performance, resulting in leakages and reduced pump efficiency. To address these challenges, a novel spring design leveraging modern materials and engineering techniques is proposed. the research methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of current mechanical seals and pump systems to identify areas for improvement. A new spring design is then conceptualized, modeled, and simulated using finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate its mechanical characteristics and stress distribution. Rigorous testing under simulated and real-world conditions validates the design’s effectiveness in enhancing seal reliability and minimizing leakage. the expected outcomes include significant advancements in sealing efficiency, leading to improved overall heat exchanger performance, energy conservation, and extended equipment lifespan. By optimizing pump parameters and minimizing leakage, this innovation promises enhanced system efficiency and cost savings in industrial applications. this research offers a pathway to address the limitations of traditional mechanical seals in heat exchanger pump systems. the proposed innovative spring design holds the potential to revolutionize pump performance, subsequently boosting the efficiency of heat exchange processes across various industries. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

In the fluid transmission control system, the control valve is used to control the movement and speed of the actuator by manipulating the flow direction, pressure and flow rate of the fluid. the spool valve utilises the relative movement of the spool and the valve body to turn on and off the oil circuit, or change the direction of the fluid flow. the actuator can then be started, stopped or reversed. In this work, the control characteristics of the pressure flow were investigated based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD). By simulating the three-dimensional flow field, the pressure-flow characteristics were analysed at different valve port openings. the design of the valve was optimized to avoid the cavitation phenomenon at the valve port. this work provides a theoretical basis for the research, development and optimization of multi-way valves and the performance improvement of hydraulic systems.
