this study presents an innovative ultra-miniaturized antenna system designed for 2.45 GHz ISM band operation, tailored to the distinct requirements of biomedical implants. the proposed antenna boasts an exceptional level of compactness, with a mere 3.3 mm3 in volume and physical dimensions of 3 mm × 3 mm × 0.37 mm. In a three-layer body model incorporating skin, fat, and muscle, the antenna system achieves an impressive peak gain of -25.4 dB at 2.45 GHz while maintaining a remarkable impedance bandwidth of -10 dB, spanning 33.8%. this accomplishment is particularly noteworthy, given the antenna's compact design. Additionally, it exhibits outstanding omnidirectional radiation patterns. Furthermore, an evaluation and analysis of the antenna's specific absorption rate (SAR) are conducted. these results emphasize the practicality and potential applications of this antenna system within biomedical devices. © 2024 IEEE.

this paper explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology can be integrated with heuristic learning methods in a virtual realm. Heuristic learning emphasizes the promotion of deeper understanding and internalization of knowledge through discovery, problem-solving, and practice. this paper outlines AI-enhanced heuristic learning strategies, highlighting how AI integration enables customized learning paths, immersive simulation environments, intelligent feedback and evaluation, auxiliary functions, and data-driven insights. the designed system structure includes modules for data collection, feature engineering, model training and deployment, knowledge base creation, and user interface. Examples of intelligent learning companions demonstrate the practical application of AI-assisted tools in providing real-time heuristic guidance and personalized support in animation design courses. through experimental comparative analysis, it is concluded that combining heuristic methods with AI-supported environments can enhance the learning experience of students, providing valuable insights for future courses in terms of participation, efficiency, customization, and knowledge internalization.

In view of the lack of research on promoting solar energy absorption by analyzing the structure of heating systems at present. Based on the granularity analysis method, the optimal structure of the secondary network of different heating systems is generated. According to the structure and mode of the solar energy access system, the solar energy absorption rate of the scheme under different granularity is optimized, and the heat storage configuration capacity required to achieve complete solar energy absorption is optimized. Compared with the existing scheme, the solar energy absorption rate increases by 8.01%, and the technical and economic efficiency will increase under the appropriate granularity. © 2023 IEEE.

Balancing the load in the distribution networks is one of the basic needs to ensure the operation of power systems without additional energy load. Unbalance load on low voltage side distribution transformer is one of the problems in the electrical distribution systems due to several nonlinearities. the cause of the nonlinearities can be attributed to: the nature of subscribers' power demand, the instantaneous changes in the electricity usage at homes daily and seasonally which varies based on the outside temperature. this can lead to a non-zero neutral current and technical and commercial losses. Nonzero neutral also called return current refers to the flowing of unbalanced three phase currents that produces unbalanced voltage drops in the electric feeders (technical losses). these losses lead to money losses for electrical distribution companies. this energy was supposed to be sold to subscribers, but it was lost to the feeder lines. In this research, a fuzzy logic was utilized to design a load balancing controller using MATLAB. ETAP program was also used to make load flow analysis. the designed fuzzy controller was able to reduce the losses by 3.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Porous frame structures are vital in various engineering applications such as scaffolding and tissue engineering. Analyzing and synthesizing images of such structures plays a crucial role in understanding their properties and optimizing their design. through the incorporation of computer vision techniques and machine learning algorithms, we propose a modern approach to generate synthetic images of porous frame structures with high granularity. Subsequently, employing state-of-the-art image analysis techniques, we expound the intricate characteristics and properties of these structures, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of their behavior and functionality. Our findings not only contribute to the advancement of porous material design but also underscore the efficacy of machine learning in constructing complex structural patterns, thereby paving the way for novel applications in diverse domains. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

In this study, a viable solution of the modeling of a three-dimensional SiC MOSFET with flexible parameter settings was proposed. Based on the finite element simulation, a reliable simulation of power cycling was built using the Sentaurus TCAD. Considering the Hydrodynamic for carriers, the incomplete ionization model for the heavy doping and other factors, the optimizations on physical models and convergence are conducted. In particular, an adaptive method of meshing is achieved to endow the simulation with less solving time and more accuracy. the proposed method can provide the visualization of the heat distribution inside the device. the above results can be helpful for the analysis of device failure after power cycling, which can provide a basis for the development of the SiC MOSFETs. © 2024 IEEE.

A cooling system featuring an immersed liquid-cooled honeycomb structure was developed for cylindrical lithium-ion power batteries. COMSOL simulation software was utilized to compute the temperature distribution within battery modules housed in this cooling configuration, under a 5C discharge rate, with both ambient and coolant temperatures maintained at 25° C. Furthermore, the impact of varying coolant flow rates on the thermal behavior of the battery modules was analyzed. the findings reveal that, even under a high discharge rate of 5C, the liquid-cooled honeycomb structure effectively regulates the temperature of the battery pack. the peak temperature recorded was 30.7° C, with an average of 28.5° C, and the temperature gradient restricted to 5° C. While enhanced coolant flow leads to improved cooling, the effect of further increasing flow rates on overall cooling performance is marginal. © 2024 IEEE.

the transformation of pseudocode to Python is vital as it enables students to concentrate on the algorithms while not being distracted by the syntax and also is the key stage in software development and computer science education. this research gives a good programmer-design tool for turning pseudocode into Python,the compiler supports basic data types, control structures, loops, and functions which are the main components of the introductory programming courses.
