Bicycles, bikes, and other two-wheeled vehicles are ubiquitous and serve an essential role in transportation, making them a critical component of basic human mobility needs. Despite their widespread use, the fundamental design of these vehicles has remained relatively unchanged for a long time, always requiring a rider for balance and navigation. Stability is a significant concern for two-wheeled vehicles within the complex transportation system. Balancing a two-wheeled vehicle is inherently more challenging than a four-wheeled one. this study compares the mechanisms for constructing an inline two-wheel electric bike that can self-balance using a gyroscope, demonstrating how this technology can enhance transportation safety and reduce accidents. the concept of gyroscopic precession is central to the construction and analysis of a self-balancing two-wheeler. By leveraging the gyroscopic effect, it becomes possible to balance a bike even in the absence of a human rider. the main idea is that by actively controlling the motion of the gyroscope relative to the vehicle's body, a stabilizing moment is generated. this study proposes the use of a BLDC motor and a servo for steering control to power an autonomous bike, equipped with a control system designed to prevent it from toppling over, whether in motion or stationary. the primary objective of this research study is to construct a prototype bike that uses a reaction wheel for self-balancing. Data from an MPU-6050 sensor, which measures the tilt angle, is used to inform the vehicle's responses, ensuring it maintains an upright stance on its two wheels. the sensor continuously monitors the bike's tilt and provides feedback to the control system, which then adjusts the reaction wheel accordingly to maintain balance. this innovative approach not only promises to make two-wheeled transportation safer but also showcases the potential for integrating advanced gyroscopic technology into everyday vehicles, thereby reducing the r

In this paper we show how our approach of extending Language Driven engineering (LDE) with natural language-based code generation supports system migration: the characteristic decomposition of LDE into tasks that are solved with dedicated domain-specific languages divides the migration tasks into portions adequate to apply LLM-based code generation. We illustrate this effect by migrating a low-code/no-code generator for point-and-click adventures from JavaScript to TypeScript in a way that maintains an important property: generated web applications can automatically be validated via automata learning and model analysis by design. In particular, this allows to easily test the correctness of migration by learning the difference automaton for the generated products of the source and the target system of the migration. © 2024, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

this paper presents the results of analyzing the statics and dynamics models of the industrial welding robot with 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) before and after optimizing the geometric structure based on the Generative design (GD) module on the INVENTOR software. the second link (2nd link) on the robot was selected for the optimized design of the structure with the criteria of mass, stress and displacement. the static model of the robot is established in the general case. the position of the maximum load at joints 2 and joint 3 is directly related to the optimal link considered. the force and moment values acting on these joints are calculated as the basis for determining the static stress and displacement. Similarly, the dynamics model of the robot is considered in the state of motion with the maximum velocity of joint 2. the post-optimized part reduces the mass by 39% compared to the original. the results of the post-optimized dynamics analysis showed that the maximum stress and displacement on link 2 decreased by 53.95% and 46.06%, respectively. the results of this study can be used as a basis to investigate the kinematics and dynamics of the robot during motion such as velocity, acceleration, driving torque and trajectory programming. Moreover, the problem of reducing energy consumption costs as well as reducing fabricating costs based on additive manufacturing technology can also be interested and developed in the near future.

It has not been far, over a century, since humankind conceived that hazardous incidents should be substantially managed to procrastinate the future could-be hazards. In the middle of the twentieth century, nonetheless, safety measures were passed by officials and introduced to authorities, and private sectors, so as to reduce risks, environmental impacts of the hazards and to evaluate probable outcomes. therefore, the concept of ALARP, meaning 'as low as reasonably practicable' presented back then, has been implemented in risk reduction management to make decisions upon acceptability and tolerability of risks. In order to do so, a few so-called tools, such as Cost-Benefit analysis, are specified to societal and other types of risks so that we could weigh the balance of the amount of capital to be invested on safety on the one hand, and the extracted benefit attained out of the investment on the other. this implementation opaquely carries on several social, socio-economic, political and even environmental implications. Nevertheless, it has brought up some concerns into proponents' mindset, ranging from practicality and political reality to calling into question whether ALARP is mainly theoretical. the aim of this study is to figure out whether Cost-Benefit analysis can be an appropriate tool to analyse the true outcome(s) of ALARP. this paper will offer a critical point of view over the risk-evaluating concept to discern how much it has been practically efficient.

Under the conditions of strong wind, waves and high sea conditions, due to the intense movement of the ocean current, the propeller is frequently subjected to short-term high torque impact load, which causes a large fluctuation in the power generation of the electric propulsion marine power generation system, which is not conducive to the stability and economy of the diesel generator set. After the theoretical analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor control, this paper proposes a kind of power and current double closed-loop constant power control strategy based on power feedforward, and gives a design example and test verification. the test results show that the constant power control strategy shows good dynamic performance, which can effectively reduce power ripple at the input end of the propulsion converter under high sea conditions, and make the diesel sets run efficiently. © 2023 IEEE.

ISA (instruction set architecture) is a bridge and interface between the underlying hardware of the processor and the software running on it. It is also an important abstraction layer in the computer processor. With ISA, different processor hardware implementations can be used to design processors with different performance. RISC-V is the interface specification between software and hardware, which is also the origin point of an information technology ecosystem. RISC-V is the inevitable product of computer architecture gradually moving towards openness. It brings a new paradigm for system research, i.e. software research issues can be tracked down to ISA, which expands or even subverts the traditional full-stack design theory on the system function, performance, security and other issues, showing a promising development prospect. In this paper, RISC-V is introduced in detail, including Instruction Length Encoding, instruction set, general register set, encoding format and privilege mode, etc. Several open-source processors using RISC-V architecture are introduced, and the current difficulties and breakthroughs of RISC-V are analyzed. Finally, the future development of RISC-V is prospected. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper focused on the rupture problem of precooler outlet compensation pipe of civil aircraft, the design concerning was discussed. Based on the design proposal, aging mechanical from two aspects of temperature and high velocity sand dust flow were calculated and tested. Root cause of pipe rupture is identified and the result shows silicon rubber could not suffer high temperature up to 250 ℃ and velocity up to 150 m/s. © the Author(s) 2024.

the number of vehicles is increasing significantly every day, especially in major cities. To control traffic flow on extensive road networks and facilitate crossing traffic flow on extensive road networks and facilitate crossing crossings, intersection n traffic signal coordination is required. It is therefore a new technology in the present world for intelligent traffic control and administration systems due to the number of vehicles with so many communication restrictions in arrays. the traffic signal strives to boost the effectiveness of transportation networks, increase safety, and reduce congestion. Technological advances enable better monitoring and management of traffic flow, and traffic signal design and operation are continually developing. the employment of some algorithms for traffic light control has improved the intelligence of traffic light controllers. this research study has developed data instruction strategies using data mining and image processing techniques. By comparing the analysis of several machine learning algorithms for predicting traffic flow and patterns, such as KNN, SVM, DNN, and Random Forest, the accuracy can be increased by lowering the overfitting. © 2023 IEEE.

Assessment of urban structural damage is crucial in the management of disasters like earthquakes or any structural damages, such as complete collapse, collapsed roofs, rubble piles, and sloping facets. To gather data for this assignment, high-resolution camera is installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). then utilize image based analysis and classification to detect and quantify any structural alterations or damage. Segmenting the photos into distinct objects based on their features, such as shape, size, and dimensions, is the process in image-based analysis and classification. Semantic reasoning involves inferring relationships between items by leveraging contextual information from the images, such as the position and orientation of the objects. In comparison to conventional visual inspection methods, image-based analysis and classification are used to identify and classify structural damage with greater accuracy and efficiency. this method uses Convolutional Neural Network for classifying images into damaged and non-damaged. Further, the identified damaged structures are classified according to the EMS-98 scale. Further, it is used to track structural changes over time and determine which maintenance and repair tasks should be prioritized. © 2023 IEEE.
