Phishing attacks are always surfacing as key threats against internet users, necessitating advanced detection methods. Blacklist-based systems and rule-based models of phishing detection generally have had critical limitations in dealing with evolving tactics and new phishing schemes. Some of these approaches fail to cope with the temporal and visual patterns of phishing sites, which are crucial for timely and accurate detection. To overcome these difficulties, this work introduces a hybrid AI-based phishing website detection model that utilizes several machine learning and deep learning techniques to improve the accuracy of the detection and remove false positives. the proposed model uses LSTM networks, Genetic Algorithms, Random Forest, and CNN through the stacking ensemble framework. Since LSTM is adopted to capture the temporal dependencies in the website traffic and user interaction patterns, this model can effectively model their phishing behavior over time. GA is used for bioinspired feature selection to reduce the dimensionality of features while optimizing model performance. Random Forest is used as a base layer addressing structured features like URL characteristics and WHOIS information. CNNs are incorporated to extract feature content from a webpage and images that carry various visual indicators often used in phishing attacks including counterfeit logos or banners. A meta-classifier is then used to combine the outputs of LSTMs, CNN, and RF and generate the final classification to boost the detection rate. the proposed hybrid model surpasses the existing techniques and facilitates the analysis of temporal, visual, and structured data, making the detection considerably more accurate. Achieving accuracy of as much as 96-97% and having an AUC of 0.97 with a false positive rate below 3%, the model then impacts the more powerful and more flexible phishing detection system, which is then capable of being more protective against higher sophisticated phishing te

In the process of power construction, it is inevitable that the line distance is too short. In order to meet the demand of power network reliability and improve the coordination ability of substation relay protection, in this paper, by analyzing and studying the coordination problem of back-up protection of ultra-short line system between stations, a kind of coordination method of system back-up protection is put forward, which can effectively reduce the influence of ultra-short distance line on the reliability of system protection, it is proved that the ultra-short distance line is not the factor that restricts the site selection, and it has certain guiding significance for the design of subsequent substations. © 2023 IEEE.

Major economies like those of India, China, and the United States are said to be based on agriculture. Achieving higher industrial growth in these nations will be made possible by good agricultural production. To improve agriculture productivity, farmers must receive timely information. In order to collect data on the wind, temperature, humidity level, and other variables, several types of sensors were used by the remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) (RSF) technologies. this data is then saved in a cloud computing platform. Machine learning (ML) techniques will be used to examine the data and forecast weather information for farmers. this study gives a thorough analysis of several existing agricultural management systems and a machine learning (ML) model for improving farm management systems (AMS). According to the report, processing and storing data on a cloud platform requires more computing than the current access control and machine learning models. In order to construct scalable and economical agriculture management systems using ML and cloud computing environments, this study proposes an Efficient Agriculture Management System. © 2023 IEEE.

Native mobile application development is commonly utilized to create robust and high-performance applications. Even the abundance of resources to introduce different native application development approaches and user interface (UI) design frameworks, there is a deficit of quantitative analysis on them. therefore, in this study, we present a quantitative performance benchmark model for an enhanced iOS experience. For this purpose, two major UI design frameworks i.e. UIKit and SwiftUI are examined along with various navigation patterns utilized for screen transitions such as tab bar transition, push transition and modal presentation. A combination of each navigation pattern - UI design framework pair is implemented by considering a variety of UI elements to be shown. Eventually, a performance evaluation is provided with respect the load time of screens and the memory consumption of the view controllers (VCs). the evaluation findings have demonstrated that SwiftUI results in high performance applications with lower load time and less memory consumption when collaboratively used with modal presentation as the navigation pattern. © 2023 IEEE.

the needs of industrial workforces have changed in the Industry 4.0 era. the knowledge worker in charge of information systems and internal operations was divided into different roles, and they each used different working methods and concepts. Despite this, Industry 4.0's consolidation has promoted the growth of servicing workforce with both computational complexity and equipment maintenance skills. An industrial requirements analysis is conducted in this paper to identify the key skills and competencies needed for setting up and designing an Excellence Center in the context of Industry 4.0. A diverse group of industry experts are surveyed to gather their insights on the most important areas of focus for such a center. the findings indicate that the key competencies needed for success in an Industry 4.0 setting include digital literacy, data analysis, and the ability to work with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of things. Based on these findings, a curriculum for the Excellence Center is proposed that prioritizes these competencies and includes hands-on training and practical experience. Overall, this paper contributes to the understanding of the requirements for Industry 4.0 and provides a roadmap for setting up and designing an Excellence Center to meet these requirements. © 2023 IEEE.

Concrete use in buildings significantly contributes to global CO2 emissions. Floor systems constitute a major portion of the concrete in building structures, making them a prime target for material reduction. Conventional design methods to calculate strength and deflection of concrete slabs often avoid complex calculations and save time, but they can be overly conservative and lead to inefficient use of materials. this research aims to leverage modern design techniques, specifically Grasshopper, to reduce CO2 emissions and resource use in concrete slab design. As an early step into this direction, three methods are presented and demonstrated: (i) determines the span length at an arbitrary point on the floor, (ii) computes the reinforcement field based on Finite Element analysis (FEA) results, and (iii) updates element stiffness based on their internal forces obtained from FEA to approximate moment redistribution. It is concluded that the presented methods are feasible and they can be developed further into a holistic design workflow that can support architects and engineers in saving material and reducing emissions.

the proliferation of cyberattacks in recent years has led to an increased demand for effective intrusion prevention systems (IPS). Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have shown promise in improving the accuracy of IPS, but their lack of interpretability hinders their wider adoption. Explainable AI (XAI) techniques have emerged to address this issue, allowing users to understand the reasoning behind a model's predictions. this survey paper provides an overview of recent developments in enhancing IPS with XAI techniques in CNNs. this study reviews state-of-the-art research on integrating interpretability into CNN models, including methods such as attention mechanisms, saliency maps, and LIME. Also, this study discusses about the promising applications of CNN-based IPS with XAI, including network traffic analysis, malware detection, and anomaly detection. Finally, we highlight some of the challenges and opportunities for future research in this area, including the need for standardized evaluation metrics and the potential for combining XAI techniques with other AI methods such as reinforcement learning. Overall, this survey paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the recent advances in using CNNs with XAI for enhancing IPS, and to identify promising directions for future research in this field. © 2023 IEEE.

When rigid bodies as well as elastic hinges connected are modeled by using a transfer matrix method, they need to be defined as multi-input and multi-output space rigid bodies, resulting in higher dimensions of the whole transfer matrix and complexity of modeling. To reduce the dimensions of the whole matrix and improve computational efficiency and accuracy, the elastic hinges and the rigid bodies are integrated into a unified model in this paper. then a single 12×12 matrix is obtained through theoretical derivation. the resulting transfer matrix of space rigid bodies supported by multiple elastic hinges not only reduces the dimensions of the whole matrix but also simplifies the configuration of the transfer matrix model by which some tree-like systems can be simplified into chain-like systems. Subsequently, the effectiveness of the matrix is validated through computational comparative analysis of typical systems. the modeling method is an important optimization to the calculation method of the dynamics characteristics of the transfer matrix. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. this paper briefly describes the designing process of a hydraulic inverted pendulum including hardware and software design. First, the mechanical structure, including the components of the platform will be introduced. Second, the electrical system including controllers for receiving signals from sensors which measure the variables important for controlling inverted pendulum is about to be shown. Afterwards, the paper will present a mathematical model of the whole platform, then shows up an open loop simulation established by AMESim and Simulink in order to analysis its dynamic characteristic. By comparing the simulation result and reality, the rationality of mathematical model is finally verified. © the Author(s) 2024.
