this research paper focuses on analyzing the vibrational frequency characteristics of a square plate that is orthotropic and non-homogeneous. the plate has a circular variation in thickness in two dimensions and circular variation in density in one dimension at the clamped boundary. the temperature distribution across the plate is assumed to follow a two-dimensional parabolic pattern. the Rayleigh-Ritz technique is used to solve the governing equation and determine the vibrational modes. Convergence analysis is performed to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the obtained frequency modes for orthotropic square plates. the objective of this study is to provide numerical data that illustrate how the manipulation of plate parameters and design can control the vibrational frequencies, thereby enhancing the performance of orthotropic square plates for specific applications. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, cloud computing has emerged as a way to deliver high-quality and reliable services and the integration of cloud services offers many opportunities for broader business applications. Among them, cloud-based support vector machine services (SVMS) are widely used. However, the service suffers from model security and query privacy issues, and existing solutions are not suitable for practical SVMS with multiple service providers and multiple users. In this paper, we propose a secure SVM service (SSVMS) supporting multiple service providers and multiple users. Specifically, SSVMS has the following three key techniques: 1) we use vector homomorphic encryption (VHE) to ensure model security and query privacy;2) we design a pair of invertible matrices to support multiple service providers and multiple users;3) we construct a special matrix to hide multi-user queries to resist collusion attacks. the security analysis shows that SSVMS can guarantee model security and query privacy even for multi-service provider and multi-user scenarios. Performance evaluation shows that SSVMS has high accuracy and low communication and computational cost, which guarantees the realistic effectiveness of SSVMS. © 2022 IEEE.

In response to the demand of meteorological applications for high orbit satellite data distribution systems, a high orbit S-band downlink broadcast link system based on spread spectrum system is proposed through analysis and design of communication frequency band, link budget, communication system, user capacity, and anti-interference ability. this system has the advantages of strong anti-interference ability and low terminal power consumption. this study has reference significance for the design and deployment of data distribution systems for civil high orbit meteorological satellite.

It is required that the driving device for material in MEMS should be smaller, lighter, and with higher precision. In this paper, the 2-DOF linear ultrasonic actuator is designed based on the configuration of the tower linear ultrasonic actuator. the structure optimization of the ultrasonic actuator is carried out based on ANSYS Parametric design Language (APDL). Modal analysis and sensitivity analysis are performed to determine the structure parameters. the impedance characteristics of the 2-DOF ultrasonic actuator are analyzed. According to the results of the performance test, the transfer function of the ultrasonic actuator could be identified and the fuzzy PID controller based on GSA is used for controlling the 2-DOF ultrasonic actuator and improving the dynamic performance of the system. © 2022 IEEE.

this research paper examines the efficacy of the Space Syntax theory in analyzing the spatial suitability of the location of urban services within a Palestinian urban community, specifically in Hajjah. the study emphasizes the importance of incorporating specific Space Syntax parameters, such as integration, connectivity, and choice, with spatial configuration analysis to understand the performance of urban services in a given area. the study utilized axial map analysis to generate a comprehensive set of maps and graphs, providing an in-depth understanding of the spatial distribution and performance of different urban services in the study area. the analysis revealed that while some facilities, such as the health clinic and park, are located in favorable locations, others, such as the gas stations and some schools, require better placement. these findings can guide policymakers and urban planners in designing more efficient and accessible urban environments that cater to the community’s diverse needs. the study underscores the potential of the Space Syntax theory to inform more equitable and efficient planning and design in urban areas. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

the transition from the pandemic period to normal again requires adaptation to habits, one of which is in learning, which was previously carried out online, now the learning model is offline again. Students are accustomed to using gadgets in their daily lives. Even in the current conditions, although the situation returns to its original state, adaptation is needed, one of which is in the learning model and making learning media to support teaching and learning activities. So, we put forth in this study the hypothesis that gamification applied to mobile learning through Case Based Learning should facilitate students' comprehension of the subject matter, foster a sense of competition among them, and inspire them to learn. ADDIE stands for Analyze, design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate, and it is the acronym used in this study. the trial was carried out by material and media tests, small group tests, and field tests. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical tests and qualitative analysis. On the results of the UEQ questionnaire test, the Attractiveness scale obtained a score of 1.60, the Perspicuity scale obtained a score of 2.00, the Efficiency scale obtained a score of 1.61, the Dependability scale obtained a score of 1.00, the Stimulation scale obtained a score of 1.14, and the Novelty scale obtained score 0.90. the design improvement solution demonstrated improvement over the initial evaluation and received a favorable score on the UEQ questionnaire testing. It is anticipated that the creation of mobile learning applications would provide students with accessible, real-world mathematical learning resources that they may utilize at any time and from any location. © 2023 IEEE.

In the field of commercial aircraft, Control panel assembly are the direct interface between pilots and aircraft systems. Well-designed Control panel assembly can reduce the workload of pilots and improve operational efficiency. Considering the limitations of traditional architecture, such as independent wiring, poor maintainability, and the potential for catastrophic consequences from core equipment failure, this paper explores the potential application of IMA-resident technology and integrated software and hardware technology in enhancing the performance of control panel assembly system. this paper proposes a distributed control panel assembly architecture design based on IMA residency, aiming to improve system reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the competitiveness of the aircraft's main manufacturer's products. the paper further elaborates on the performance optimization analysis of this architecture and looks forward to the future development trends of Control panel assembly and potential challenges. © 2025 IEEE.

Multi-objective optimal design of permanent magnet eddy current retarder based on NSGA-II algorithm

As a new type of vehicle auxiliary braking device, permanent magnet eddy current retarder has a wide application prospect. In this paper, the linear layer analysis method and non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II (NSGA-II) are combined to optimize the parameters of permanent magnet eddy current retarder. Firstly, based on the linear layer model, the mathematical optimization model of permanent magnet eddy current retarder is established by taking the radial length of permanent magnet, the thickness of permanent magnet, the number of permanent magnets and the thickness of conductor disk as design variables, the braking torque and eddy current loss as optimization objectives. Secondly, the NSGA-II algorithm is used to optimize the braking torque and eddy current loss of the permanent magnet eddy current retarder. Finally, the performance of the permanent magnet eddy current retarder after the optimization of the structural parameters is carried out by using ANSYS software to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the optimization results. the optimization algorithm used in this article solves the problem of poor adaptability to environmental changes and premature convergence in the late evolution of standard genetic algorithm. the results show that the NSGA-II algorithm based on the layer analysis model has better computational results in the optimal design of structural parameters than the standard genetic algorithm. With the continuous development of technology, the future prospects of online analysis real-time alarm systems are vast. In today’s digital age, the application of page editors is becoming increasingly widespread. this article analyzes the characteristics of online real-time alarm scenarios and proposes an implementation strategy for online analysis real-time alarm display based on page editors. It utilizes a page editor to design and implement a complete real-time alarm display system, which fully implements the business logic of online analysis of real-time alarm display, verifies the feasibility of the technology developed based on the page editor, and provides valuable reference solutions for the construction of power grid operation systems.

A huge literature is available in the area of FPGA implementation of DSP algorithms and their architecture. But still, a variety of problems exist, and each method tackled a subset of these problems. the Commonly identified problems are Latency and accuracy issues viewed in all the architectures which have to be minimized. At the same time implementation in less complex Hardware is needed. the design challenge is to have a better trade-off in terms of speed, power, and area. Requirements are generally contradictory in terms of parameters. If we are generating trigonometry functions employing multiplier, adder, and divider, conventional architectures consume more hardware, and computational time increases. In this paper, DPU architecture design which depicts the type of linear systolic array that behaves like an MISD(Multiple instructions on Single Data) is proposed. In this the simulation process and performance parameters report are validated for DPU unit implementation using Xilinx ISE version 14.7 and the MAC unit is implemented on Nexys 4 DDR Artix 7 FPGA board © 2023 IEEE.
