When producing a tender, contractors manually analyze client requirements contained within many different text documents. the combination of requirements lead to crucial design decisions and every decision is related to costs and risks. this study explores the possibility of making the client requirement analysis in design-bid contracts automated to reduce the risk of conceptual design mistakes. the research approach chosen includes developing a work support tool based on natural language processing and evaluating its usefulness through a combination of surveys and a workshop for tendering specialist. the results show that applying digitalized working methods and using artificial intelligence in the tender phase can enable datainformed decision making and generate benchmarking and risk management opportunities.

In recent years, the environmental impact of low-frequency noise in substations has gradually received attention. In response to the problem of low-frequency noise, this paper prepared anacoustic metamaterial muffler with the periodic structure through acoustic analysis and structural design. theoretical calculation and experimental analysis show that with the number of periodic cavities in the muffler increases, the Aweighted insertion loss of the muffler increases from 6.9 dB to 10.6 dB, and the average insertion loss of the octave band increases from 5.7 dB to 9.8 dB. the low-frequency noise reduction effect is significantly improvedin this research, which will provide important reference for the theoretical calculation, engineering design, and substation noise reduction application of acoustic metamaterial mufflers.

Containers are widely used in 5G MEC scenarios. One of the main obstacles to the deployment of container applications is the security problem it faces. the container image and its internal programs may be maliciously tampered with by an attacker using vulnerabilities at runtime. In view of this problem, we propose to use vTPM technology to solve the integrity protection and safe operation of containers and container images, and design a virtual trusted certificate chain extension scheme. By introducing signature key SK in TPM and identity key cEK in vTPM management domain, we realize the extension of trust chain from TPM to TPM instance. then we have carried out feasibility analysis and experiment on the proposed certificate chain extension scheme. the experimental results show that this method can build a trusted certificate chain from TPM to vTPM instance, thus meeting the requirements of container reinforcement. Finally, we compare our proposed scheme with some existing virtual trusted certificate chain extension schemes. the results show that our proposed scheme is more suitable for strengthening the container. © 2023 IEEE.

SOC consensus control and analysis based on specified sampled-data for large-scale energy storage system

In large-scale energy storage system, the large number of energy storage units leads to inconsistent of State of Charge and unbalanced sharing of output power. In order to solve this problem, a consensus control protocol design and analysis method based on specified sampled-data is proposed. the consensus of SOC and output power (normalization) of each energy storage unit in large-scale energy storage system has been achieved. Firstly, according to the definition of lithium battery SOC and discharge mechanism, a system model of large-scale energy storage system is established. Based on specified sampled-data control, consensus control protocol of multi-agent of energy storage units is designed, and system convergence analysis is carried out. Meantime, the constraints of sampling period T are derived. It is proved that local energy storage unit agent can generate local energy storage unit control signal only when it receives the state information of adjacency energy storage unit agent at a specified sampling time point. In this way, the problem of too much computation caused by the complex communication of large-scale energy storage system is solved. Considering specified sampled-data control and system requirements, the system control parameters are designed. this method is simple in control and takes up less system communication resources. "Functionally graded materials" (FGMs) are becoming more popular owing to merits in their thermos-mechanical behaviour and performance. However, designing the systems made of FGM, considering the practical conditions such as thermal conditions, corrosive environments, manufacturing difficulties and manufacturing defects are still evolving. Present work is aimed at reviewing different design and modelling approaches suitable specifically to rotor systems made of "functionally graded" materials. though research is picking up in this area, limited studies have been reported on FG rotors. A step-by-step concise information has been provided on every aspect of FGM related to rotor systems, which includes brief history of FGM, literature review of fabrication methods, applications of FGM, material modelling due to gradation of materials over the cross section of rotor, temperature variant material properties because of temperature distribution, analytical and finite element methods available to analyse rotor systems subjected dynamic loads, modelling and analysis of defects such as effect of corrosion, porosity and cracks in dynamic behaviour of rotor systems. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

In maintaining the maximum capability of rooftop solar panels, requires quite expensive costs, the cost of installing solar panels is not small, it requires the durability of the life of the solar panels the old one, then a monitoring system is needed to see how these solar panels are running properly. In this study, we used the PZEM 004T Module as a reading of output parameters, namely voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency, and also Kwh whose data will be processed in ESP32 microcontrollers as brains or processor units that control inputs, processes, and outputs on solar panels. Based on the test results, it is known that the monitoring system can work well to display measurement results in real-time through the blynk application. From the results of the analysis on this tool, an error value was obtained in this tool for voltage measurement, which is 0.05%, and for current measurement, which is 0.06%. In the future, it is hoped that the results of this study can be the basis for analysis to determine the service life of rooftop solar panels © 2022 IEEE.

To study the impact of coupling systems between urban infrastructures with the power system at the core on strategies for enhancing urban power grid resilience, this research proposed strategies for enhancing urban power grid resilience in the face of extreme event disruptions. these strategies focused on the coupling systems of the power system with communication systems, transportation systems, natural gas systems, petroleum systems, and water supply systems. the study analyzed the coupling relationships between the power system and other urban infrastructures. Based on the analysis of time scales and coupling relationships, it proposed measures to enhance urban power grid resilience. Additionally, it identified critical users of the urban power grid and established an urban power grid system analysis model. Finally, through differential strengthening of urban power grid users, the study formulated strategies to improve the resilience of the urban power grid. these strategies could provide valuable reference points for decision-makers in systematically enhancing the resilience of urban power grids.

the LNG unloading arm is one of the important equipment of LNG storage and transportation, whose performance directly affects the efficiency and safety of LNG handling. In this paper, the 16-inch unloading arm is taken as an example to carry out weight reduction optimization for the supporting structure of the unloading arm, such as the column and the inner and outer walls, and the finite element simulation analysis is carried out on the weight reduction unloading arm under working condition. through the numerical simulation method, the thermal solid coupling check analysis, vibration analysis, and buckling analysis of the column are carried out to fully check the weight reduction unloading arm. the results show that the strength of the weight reduction unloading arm meets the requirements and has good vibration characteristics and stability. At the same time, the total weight of the device is reduced, and the processing and manufacturing costs are saved, which has guiding significance for the production and manufacturing of LNG unloading arm in practical engineering. © 2023 SPIE.

the paper presents validation of results of a numerical model of radial centrifugal pump flow using an experimental method PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry). For this purpose, a 3D model of the pump was created in Inventor, which was then used to design a numerical flow model in Ansys in the CFX module. the performance characteristics of the same pump were measured on an experimental test circuit, and vector maps of the flow in the suction pipe were obtained using the PIV method. the results of the experiment – vector fields of fluid velocity distribution in a suction pipe – were then compared with the outputs of the numerical Ansys model, namely the flow curves and pressure distribution. this comparison demonstrated that the numerical model achieves the best agreement with reality if the input variables are the pressure in front of the pump and the mass flow behind the pump. In this case, the model can calculate the pressure at the pump inlet with a deviation of 1% to 10% and create streamlines in the suction pipe corresponding to the results of PIV measurements. © 2022 TAE 2022 - Proceeding of the 8th International conference on Trends in Agricultural engineering 2022. Aiming at the problems of freshness and shortage that often occur in fresh distribution, this study proposed an innovative distribution mode, in which trucks carry drones for delivery, supplemented by independent drones to respond to replenishment needs within and outside the limited range, and proposed two replenishment strategies. An optimization model aiming at cost minimization and customer satisfaction maximization was constructed. Simulated annealing algorithm combined with three improved neighborhood search algorithms was used to optimize the path, and an adaptive strategy was designed for dynamic adjustment. At the same time, considering the suddenness and uncertainty of replenishment demand, a reasonable replenishment time threshold acceptable to enterprises is proposed to cope with the sudden demand. through comparative analysis of numerical examples, it is proved that the proposed joint delivery mode of truck and drone can not only effectively solve the problem of replenishment demand, improve customer satisfaction, but also significantly reduce the cost compared with the traditional distribution mode. this distribution model not only brings new research perspectives and methods to the field of fresh commodity distribution, but also can significantly reduce urban road traffic congestion and improve the efficiency and sustainability of the traffic environment. © 2024 SPIE.
