the purpose of this work is to compare two forms of the Erlang distribution law: ordinary and normalized. the ordinary Erlang distribution is a special case of a more general gamma distribution and its mathematical expectation depends on the order of the distribution k. For a normalized distribution, the mathematical expectation will not depend on the order of the distribution k;this is the meaning of the normalization operation. Consequently, these two forms of the Erlang distribution law will differ in their numerical characteristics. the paper considers the problem of how these two forms of the distribution law are applied in the theory of queuing and how they affect the main characteristic of queuing systems (QS)-the average delay of claims arriving for service in the system. the rest of the QS characteristics are derivatives of the average delay. For this, three different QSs are considered, including the Erlang distribution law. the method of spectral decomposition of the solution of the Lindley integral equation was used as a mathematical apparatus for studying the QS. For the practical application of the results obtained, the method of moments of the theory of probability was used. Basically, queueing systems G/G/1 with general distribution laws are in demand for modeling data transmission systems for various purposes, including computer and telecommunication networks. this is especially true since for G/G/1 systems there is no solution for the average latency in the final form for the general case. therefore, such systems are investigated using examples with particular distribution laws. © 2021 ieee.

Currently, access management and control systems are used to solve various problems of physical protection of objects, including for automated access to unattended premises. the requirements for such systems are shaped by the need for enterprises to resist external threats. the article discusses one of the options for organizing an access control system with the required level of information security. this will make it possible to effectively organize convenient access to remote premises and resist threats aimed at breaching the security of information objects of industrial systems. the paper considers the need to develop an access control system for unattended premises taking into account information security. the organizational structure of the control system and the stages of the proposed access control method taking into account the use of multi-level authentication are described in detail. the rationale for choosing a platform for developing a multi-level authentication system is given. In addition, the scheme of operation of the proposed system is presented. © 2021 ieee.

A Block Matching Algorithm is a way of locating matching macroblocks in a sequence of digital video frames for the purposes of motion estimation. the underlying supposition behind motion estimation is that the patterns corresponding to objects and background in a frame of video sequence move within the frame to form corresponding objects on the subsequent frame. this can be used to discover temporal redundancy in the video sequence, increasing the effectiveness of inter-frame video compression by defining the contents of a macroblock by reference to the contents of a known macroblock which is minimally different. this article discusses the fundamental principles of local and global stereo image matching algorithms. the operation of the Semi-Global Block Matching algorithm is described in more detail. Its implementation is also affected by transferring the calculation of the depth map to a graphics processor (GPU) to speed up processing. the results of the construction of the depth map, as well as the dependence of the time of the algorithm on the size of the input images are shown. © 2021 ieee.

Smart city is the current international cutting-edge urban development concept. It is the development of urban planning in the direction of intelligence as well as the promotion of environmental protection and low carbon in urban development. Technological progress is one of the important elements for realizing smart cities and low-carbon economy. It can not only ensure the smooth construction of smart cities, but also play a key role in the development of low-carbon economy. this study uses the relevant data of 21 prefecture-level cities under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province, 14 prefecture-level cities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and 11 prefecture-level cities in Fujian Province from 2009 to 2019 to compare unit carbon emissions, per capita GDP, and technological progress. the results show that the technological progress have a significant effect on increasing per capita GDP and unit carbon emissions. the specific research results are in line with the current trends and characteristics of regional economic development in Guangdong, Guangxi and Fujian. © 2021 ieee

there is a significant consolidation of IT fraudsters in modern conditions, so the definition of fraudulent sites is a relevant applied study. On the basis of the conducted researches the basic parameters which can be parsed from the required site of online store, namely absence or presence of the corresponding information are defined. An intelligent method for detecting fraudulent online stores has been developed, which allows automating the process of detecting fraudulent sites only by entering a link to the site. the method is implemented on the basis of machine learning classification methods: Logistic Regression (LR), Random Forest (RF), KNN, Naive Bayes (NB), Support Vector (SVM) and DecisionTree (DT). Also, each method of classification is modeled by different approaches, namely: Imbalanced;Undersampling;Oversampling;SMOTE;ADASYN. the realization of method is implemented on the basis of sites operating in Ukraine. there are 67 sites in the dataset, 45% of which are *** to the results it turned out that the best simulation estimates are based on the DecisionTree by the approach ADASYN and Random Forest by the approach Oversampling. It shows a 100% result of defining a fraudulent site. © 2021 ieee.

the purpose of this work is to demonstrate the possibility of transforming conventional queuing systems by shifting the distribution laws by introducing the shift parameter into systems with time lag. this leads to qualitatively different systems of the G/G/1 type with completely different characteristics. the paper considers various queueing systems (QS) formed by such distributions as: exponential, hyperexponential, Erlang. In contrast to the classical theory, this article considers QS with distribution laws shifted to the right from the zero point. the article provides an overview of the author's results for the average waiting time in a queue in a closed form for systems with input distributions shifted to the right from the zero point. To obtain them, we used the method of spectral decomposition of the solution of the Lindley integral equation. the article presents the spectral decompositions of the solution of the Lindley integral equation for three systems out of sixteen possible and with their help formulas for calculating the average waiting time in the queue are derived. It is shown that in systems with delay, the average waiting time is much shorter than in conventional systems. the proposed approach makes it possible to calculate the average waiting time for these systems in mathematical packages for a wide range of changes in traffic parameters. Considering the fact that packet delay variation (jitter) in the telecommunications standard is defined as the spread of latency around its average value, then jitter can be determined through the variance of latency. © 2021 ieee.

the interaction design of digital news aggregators available in the market has never undergone any major changes in subsequent years. this paper aims to create a novel design for news aggregators that optimizes for user engagement by applying gamification elements and features found in social media applications. It will follow the Gamification Design Method formulated through the synthesis of 41 different literatures and 25 different gamification experts. the final product is a prototype evaluated using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) form, System Usability Score (SUS) form, and User Engagement Scale - Short Form (UES-SF). After three design iterations, the product showed the following results: a 97% completion rate, an SEQ score of 5.6 out of 7, and a user engagement scale score of 4.03 out of 5. Game elements used were progress bars, conformity anchors, and badges. © 2021 ieee.

Modern trends in the development of information technology require new approaches to network traffic management. SDNs allow you to shift control layer outside the equipment and perform routing centrally, avoid overloads, and monitor network performance in real time. In recent papers on software-defined networks, the problem of providing quality of service was not studied in detail. Working with queues, limiting the rate of flows, marking the exceeding of thresholds is available in most modern devices working with the OpenFlow protocol. this paper will consider approaches to ensuring the quality of service in various software-defined environments and different versions of OpenFlow, proposed a structural mathematical model for describing queues and working with them within the OpenFlow protocol, and consider a mechanism for fair limiting the flow rate during overloads. © 2021 ieee.
