In application software development, memory defects are difficult to detect. Traditional memory defect detection tools generally face issues of high performance overhead and excessive memory consumption, which limits their applicability in embedded operating systems. To address this, a method called EHD (Embedded Heap Detect) is proposed. this method combines memory defect detection technology with the memory management mechanisms of embedded operating systems to effectively and quickly detect heap memory vulnerabilities, selecting appropriate times for detection to reduce the number of detections and lower performance overhead. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

this study addresses the prevalent issues with new energy vehicle batteries, including failure and other complications. It focuses on lithium-ion batteries in pure electric vehicles and proposes a diagnostic approach based on SDO and NARX. the study also examines the methodology employed in fault judgement and early warning. the findings offer novel insights into the diagnosis of faults in new energy vehicles and provide technical guidance for ensuring the safe operation of these vehicles. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is one solution for starting a new business in this era due to the difficulties of managing the supply chain, manufacturing processes, and high startup costs. However, the majority of thai industries operate relying on human labor and basic mechanization, leading to inefficiencies. this paper presents the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems using Odoo, an open-source ERP software, to address these inefficiencies. this research focuses on implementing the Odoo ERP system on the shop floor of an OEM company, addressing challenges in the planning and production departments. the current business process (As-is process) contains several problems. through gap analysis and customization of the Odoo ERP modules, the system provides streamlined processes according to the new planning and production business process (To-be process), reducing delays and providing real-time access to information. the implementation results show that the system supports OEM company on the shop floor process and enhances overall productivity. © 2025 ieee.

Surveillance systems play an essential role in enhancing security and ensuring safety within society. Public spaces and critical areas are commonly monitored through multi-camera networks for tracking individuals in real-time to enable quick responses to potential security threats. However, variations in lighting, camera angles, and occlusions pose significant challenges to the process of recognizing individuals across multiple camera views. this research proposes a Person Re-Identification (Re-ID) with deep learning and feature extraction method to improve the accuracy of individual matching and identification despite these challenges. this research encompasses multiple neural network topologies, such as ResNet50, ResNet101, and OSNet architectures with traditional computer vision methodologies such as Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) to examine the body part weighting coefficients and feature selection mechanisms. the results demonstrated that integrating dimensionality reduction via principal component analysis (PCA) coupled with semantic segmentation techniques yields statistically significant improvements in re-identification accuracy. the ResNet101 architecture emerges as the superior methodology, achieving performance with a Rank-1 accuracy of 0.88 and mean Average Precision (mAP) of 0.94 on the test dataset. © 2025 ieee.

this article describes the invention of autonomous cannabis seeding equipment to reduce contamination and planting time. the automated cannabis seeder employs an NI myRIO control board to operate a y-axis stepper motor attached to a ball screw to move along the breadth of each row of 14 seed trays. Soil drilling and burial Drill all holes at the same depth. this promotes seed germination and lowers human-seed germ contamination. these 7 soil drill heads and 7 seeders use 3D printers to design and shape the workpiece. An 800-watt air pump smokes the cannabis seeds. Linear electric motors function in two rows in the z-axis. the buffer reverses the drowning process from row 14 to the first row, starting from the 3rd row and continuing through the final series of steps until 14 rows in the y-axis are complete. the hardware controls all program activities in LabVIEW. We tested the automated cannabis seeding machine 100 times on average, sowing cannabis seeds into 98 seed trays and dropping 93 seeds at 94.80% efficiency in 10.38 minutes. A 16 percent faster machine than human work is available. © 2025 ieee.

the growing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) as a diagnostic aid has spurred significant research into deep learning-based colorectal cancer polyp detection and localization. the motivation behind this research stems from the occasional missed diagnosis of polyps by medical experts due to fatigue or inexperience, which can lead to serious complications like colorectal cancer. In this research, we explore the effect on the accuracy of polyp detection and localization, employing variants of the state-of-the-art detection model YOLOv9. Four variants of YOLOv9 (gelan-e, gelan-c, yolov9-c, and yolov9-e) are trained on two datasets: CVC-CLinicDB and Kvasir combined as one dataset and LDPolyp Video as the second separate dataset. Results show that the YOLOv9 variants show their superiority when evaluated on five test datasets as compared to YOLOv8, the most recent YOLO series model. © 2025 ieee.

Getting highly accurate output in biomedical data processing concerning biomedical signals and images is impossible because biomedical data are generated from various electronic and electrical resources that can deliver the data with noise. Filtering is widely used for signal and image processing applications in medical, multimedia, communications, biomedical electronics, and computer vision. the biggest problem in biomedical signal and image processing is developing a perfect filter for the system. Digital filters are more advanced in precision and stability than analog filters. Digital filters are getting more attention due to the increasing advancements in digital technologies. Hence, most medical image and signal processing techniques use digital filters for preprocessing tasks. this paper briefly explains various filters used in medical image and signal processing. MATLAB is a famous mathematical, analytical software with a platform and built-in tools to design filters and experiment with different inputs. Even though this paper implements filters like mean, median, weighted average, Gaussian, and bilateral in Python to verify their performance in terms of mean square error (MSE) and similarity index (SI), a suitable filter can be selected for biomedical applications by comparing their performance. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
