Public health is seriously threatened by air pollution. systems for early warning are crucial for preventing its negative impacts on humans. But predicting air quality is difficult because it needs precise data from time series gathered at air monitoring sites. Due to things like measurement mistakes, this data may be ambiguous. Using fuzzy symmetry triangular fuzzy numbers, we suggest a strategy in this study for preparing data that contains uncertain information. Linear programming is utilized to obtain the midpoint value for defuzzification. the fuzzy pre-processed data is then used to build a predictive model using ARIMA. Our findings imply that the linear program can greatly lower prediction errors, resulting in more precise predictions.

Component Based Development is considered to be a promising technology to cure the software crisis. However, until now designing and developing component-based applications turns out to be very hard. Current component based development not only involves a component configuration phase, but also writing a lot of glue-code. Much of the existing glue-code in current systems is written to "hack" components together instead of following a careful design. In this paper we introduce a component composition methodology based on the concept of composition patter-ns. A composition pattern describes an interaction between a set of roles using an extended sequence chart. It serves as a bridge between the design and the implementation. We further propose a component documentation and a set of algorithms based on finite automata theory to perform an automatic compatibility check and glue-code generation to support this methodology.

A graduate-level course addressing the design and development of modeling tools for computer-based systems (CBS) is described. A Model Integrated Computing (MIC) approach to the design of CBS is taught wherein domain applications are automatically generated and/or configured from domain-specific models. Students are taught to recognize and comprehend the tenets of CBS design and implementation in various engineering environments. Both instructor- and student-led lectures are used to develop an understanding of systemsengineering processes, modeling tools, techniques and methodologies and their place in the development of CBS. Homework assignments al-e used to enhance the student's ability to apply MIC to CBS development and design. To complete the course, students are required to design a,ld develop a CBS modeling tool for use in a real-world engineering domain. Students demonstrate their comprehension of MIC and CBS concepts through homework, quizzes, an in-class presentation of their proposed project and a final project presentation including a demonstration. Students leave the course with a strong foundation in both CBS tool design and MIC.
